OK, I got hooked up to Jessica's video! Something about the artist-surfer, CA, and Japan triggered me. Jessica is super cute and humble. I would like to know more about her journey from becoming an artist to collaborating with different companies.
Surfing or just being in the ocean always seem to make bad vibes go away! Been in the San O line many times and yes it's a good chance to slow down from the rush to get there! Surfing is fun but so is the travel learning peoples thoughts on whatever too.
Wow I totally feel like you are my surfing buddy now. I ride about 3 hours north of you where the water almost always asks for us to wear neoprene. I appear once in a while on the surfline cams at 4:30-6am or around sunset to dark. Can’t miss the board in the dark.

Thank you for watching!! I visited Miyazaki, Kagoshima, and Fukuoka on my most recent trip to Kyushu and enjoyed them all for different reasons. Miyazaki reminded me a bit of Hawaii and California with a surf culture, palm trees, and beautiful water, but driving is a necessity. I only had a day in Kagoshima but thought it was a fun short trip, and I really enjoyed how many different things there were to do in Fukuoka, like beaches, shrines, interesting malls and other sight seeing locations. Fukuoka also felt like the easiest to get around in terms of public transportation of the three cities. The food culture there is also great!
I also live in a unit complex and have a courtyard. If some tradie re-roofed like that, I’d be mortified! Hopefully in future, the strata management will give you notice of maintenance 😭
It was kinda scary! All week long, hammers and wrenches and nails would be falling into my yard, then they would hop into my yard at the end of the day to clean up.. I'm glad they cleaned up a bit but to see them so casually jumping the fence to get into everyone's yard was jarring

Glad you enjoy it! My body doesn't handle caffeine well so I can't drink energy drinks or coffee, but I do like matcha.. which has a lot of caffeine.. not sure why I can handle it so much better
So my husband is from Guatemala and the evil eye is a superstition there. The solution is to touch whoever has the evil eye on you, on his account. He had a neighbor hold our first son because he thought she might have the evil eye on him.Our son had bad eczema at the time.I'm not sure if it worked, but he doesn't have eczema now at least 😅 I think they also wear a blue jewelry piece as a deterrent.

Do you have any tips for someone that wants to get into surfing but uses glasses and cannot see without them?(my optometrist said no comtact lenses in the water)
Hmmm, I only use glasses for nighttime driving so I don't have experience with this, I asked my surfer friend used to wear glasses and she told me she got lasik. I know that can be quite pricey, but I believe there are prescription glasses you could surf with (maybe with a tie or more like goggles) but I'm not quite sure. I wish I could help more! I'm just not knowledgable in that area
I have 2 friends with bad eyes. One surfs without her glasses and can’t see 20 feet in front of her. But she catches waves. My guy friend has special glasses he wears with a strap. He is in his 60’s and surfs very well with them. I don’t know if he ever lost a pair surfing but he doesn’t go out on huge days either.

Southern California is a great place to live with many wonderful things, but I think between Spain and America, I would choose Spain. The high cost of basic things like healthcare, housing, food, and gas can make it quite challenging here.
