Part 2 covers the line between Needles and Fullerton.
Starting in Needles, a westbound BNSF intermodal sports some CSX units as the train climbs a grade the desert.
Victorville, sees both UP and BNSF trains. At the time of our visit, there were not many UP freights rolling through. However, BNSF puts on a show with their parade of trains.
Hesperia, Ca. (Cajon Pass) Our first time and what a treat. Here BNSF and UP freights puts their locomotives to the test when it comes to horsepower and Dynamic breaking. Even for the little BNSF hyrail.
Finally, Fullerton. This is BNSF's home stretch to Hobart yard heading west. We catch Metrolink, BNSF and meet up with the CSX units that were caught in Needles as they head back to the yard.

At 9:05, the opposing train, does it have 12 in the lash up? Surly not all them would be under power.

It sure does. I have never seen that many units on a train before.
