Actually, this is a normal part of the fast past system way before you could use the app, Five minutes before you are able to claim the voucher from the app, before that it is not possible. But last week i did scan the past 10 minutes early on space mountain

    • @Dumbo41
      @Dumbo41 5 лет назад

Yes, you can scan 5 min before your time. Any time longer than that is up to the Cast Members to allow you to enter earlier than the 5 min.

There are two types of muti experience fast passes. 1st Park specific (when a ride has broken down it automatically transforms to this.) 2nd Any park (These are normally given by cast members if you experience problems with the max/fast pass system). Both use the same image. I found out last week, Disneyland offers a pickup point in the park for bought items. You buy items during the day, and pick them up in the evening

Just found your videos and have been bingeing it as I plan a trip to Disneyland this summer. My husband is in a wheelchair and was wondering if it’s possible to get a video on the accessibility and how rides work etc. We hear it is pretty inclusive, but haven’t found much good detailed info on it. We love your fun trivia and the in-depth research you do. Thanks!

Stephanie Elkins My dad is in a wheelchair and in some rides you can go to the exit zone of the ride and get faster in the rides, only ask the cast members in front of the ride and they will tell you what to do :) Not all rides have wheelchairs access, but if your husband can get out off the wheelchair that helps a lot😄

Another thing to note is that you won't be always waiting 90 minutes to get your next fast pass. The closer the actual time is to the given fastpass return time will give a shorter wait time to get your next fast pass. For example, I always get a fastpass for Guardians in the morning. I order my fastpass on my phone for a return time from 8:05 am to 9:05 am. Keep in mind I ordered my fast pass at 7:55 am just before the park opened. So the next time I can order another fastpass is in the next 30 minutes or after I have already scanned my fastpass.

  • @rbtz07

Always "rope-drop." That's when u get to the park at least 45 minutes b4 the gate opens. The park opens and they will let the crowds inside to wait at the velvet ropes. A countdown happens and people scurry off the their attractions. U can get on 5 or 6 attractions b4 u set ur first FastPass.

For those who does not want to pay for parking or just want to take an alternative transportation to Disneyland, the Anaheim Resort Transportation (ART) offers complimentary shuttle service on Bus 15 between Anaheim Station (ARTIC) and Disneyland Resort if you have a valid Metrolink or Amtrak ticket. If you're not riding Metrolink or Amtrak, you can park at ARTIC for free and purchase an ART Day Pass for $5.50 per person at the station and take Bus 15 to Disneyland or any destinations served by ART (Knott's, Packing District, Convention Center, etc.)

MaxPass is the most useful thing you can get for Disney! I got it for my first visit to Disneyland in five years, and I got the pass for me and my grandpa. Unfortunately we went on the most peak day in October, FORTUNATELY it was my Grandpa’s birthday! We got on 11 rides with Fastpass on the app and tons of photos through PhotoPass. The most longest wait time for a ride was Haunted Mansion at 150 minutes, we snagged a Fastpass and waited 15 minutes. More people need to know about MaxPass and this video does a great job of sharing the info! Also love Amanda she’s so cute :>

You should have told folks about parent passes too. They save a bunch of time if there are little ones who can't ride and both parents want to go on. Chris can ride Indy and get a parent pass because you're watching Miles. Then he gives you the parent pass so you skip the line and ride while he watches Miles. In the meantime Miles can explore the island or anything else size related so no time is wasted.

    A couple tips to add:

Quick correction: The Maxpass price was increase 50% during this last bout of ticket and AP price increases. It now costs $15.00/person/day. Even at this price, the simple fact that this price includes an unlimited digital download of photos taken by professional photographers or the ride photos makes it extremely worth that $15.00, even if only one person in your party gets Maxpass added on (Note: you'll still have to ride with that person in order to be in the ride photos...)
As for the tip about the charging stations, I recommend against using these. While they are useful in an emergency, it takes a minimal effort to simply buy a better charger and bring it with you into the park. Not every product is perfect for every person, so check out what would work best for you before buying anything, but I can recommend the Anker PowerCore 26,800mAh portable charger. This charger has 3 USB charging outputs (don't forget your charging cords), so you can charge three devices simultaneously. Three. We've used it to completely recharge three of our smart phones twice on a single charge. Also, this charger gives the option of plugging two micro USB charge inputs, to make recharging pretty quick for such a large capacity charger. It's great using just one portable charger to charge three phones at once, say, during lunch together. All of this functionality for only $60.00 (what I paid for it on Amazon a little while back...I think there might have been a slight sale on it at the time.) That's literally the cost of just two days of renting the Disneyland chargers. We've used this charger for several months now, and it's still functioning just fine, even after several dozen full-phone-charges.
Another quick tip: bring a low-profile backpack (meaning one that doesn't stick out from your body very far.) It's extremely handy to have some small items on hand all the time, like a small water bottle, some sun screen, zip lock bags for phones/wallets if you go on water rides, $1.00 ponchos bought outside the park in case of rain (beats paying $8.45+tax for each one inside the park), some light snacks, charging cords, useful paperwork, portable charger, etc. Every ride I have ever ridden in Disneyland either completely allows backpacks to ride with you or allows you to walk through and place the bag/backpack where you can pick it up on your way out. That said, it's rather uncomfortable on many of these rides to try to squeeze a fat backpack down by your legs. Low-profile and keeping the stuff in the bag limited to the essentials fixes this problem. In our experience, we've never needed to spend extra for chargers or lockers because we brought our own stuff to save some money and get superior benefit from that stuff. Still, lockers are probably a great idea if you have some unexpectedly large purchases and are not staying in one of the Disneyland hotels (you can have them delivered directly to your room after you buy them if you're staying in one of their hotels...not a bad deal if you're staying there anyway!)

My Disneyland hack is to give some kids in families I can tell their family saved up for a long time for the trip for the trip (poor families for lack of a better word) some of my duplicate disney pins I bought from disney pin lots. I usually seek out a parent who's kid is crying and I talk to the parent and tell them to give the kid the pin. I tell them how to pin trade and stuff and the kids love the pins. Makes their day and mine because doing good things for other people is fun.

What about the hack with stroller/small kids that you can trade off with different adults to skip the line the 2nd time? Or the suggestion to go to rides during parades and fireworks when they are less busy? There's also the mention that the App will tell you where different character meet-and-greets are at, and who's available to see/meet.

FYI if you do not close the Disneyland app the multi pass will work for an unlimited number of rides. I found that out last time I go. Just do not completely shut down the app.

I just found you in my "suggested" section - oh my - your enthusiasm is delightful, and your tips are great. I get to go for my BDay this summer, and I need all the planning help I can get, because I know it's gonna be crowded, but there are few things (for me) more awesome than strolling into Disney on one's BDay. And yes, I subscribed to your channel!

Actually, rides have different places for single rider as Most are the normal entrance to rides. Space Mountain is opposite. It is at the end where you see the photo taken during ride. Incredicoaster is also different, it is in the Handicap entrance along the side.
Rule of thumb on Cars Radiator Springs Racers is if you can see the Single Rider line, it is too long.
      Cars Radiator Springs
      Incredicoaster
      Goofy's Flight School
      Grizzly Rapids
      Splash Mountain
      Indiana Jones
      Space Mountain
      Matterhorn
All these rides have Single Rider option.

A lot of stuff is similar to WDW. Only,Maxpass allows a new electronic FP every 90 mins( plus the West coast still has paper FP's). FP+ is 3FP's in the same park and if you get done with those before too late in the day you can get one new FP at a time for any park. Also,FP+doesn't include unlimited photo downloads for the day like Maxpass^^ Man,I need to get to DL/ DCA( goals)!!!
