YES LOVE notebooks and writing / doodle samples. Short quick reviews are always good. I personally have never cared much for unboxings and end up skipping through that part of the video haha. Love your videos, thanks for making interesting fun content.
I do like the unboxing videos, especially if one doesn’t cheat and see how they work before! I just did an unboxing one which was kind of fun. My unscripted surprise and the unexpected “stiffer” nib than my rose-colored glasses and imagination conjured up was hard to hide. Your honesty about the nib not being a favorite was good to see, too. Some nibs are not meant to “wow” us, just do their duty without being showy.
Sailor nibs, along with Aurora’s, are my runaway favorite pen nibs. The 21k nib is to die for. I have several Pro Gear pens, and just the one 1911L. The nib (also the 14k) never ceases to amaze and thrill me. Sorry to hear that this particular Sailor 21k nib on their new, beautiful 1911 isn’t exactly stellar. Is this the only Sailor nib to have somewhat disappointed you? My music steel nib (made by Sailor) on my Taccia Spectrum sprang to mind as another sweet nib that I enjoy immensely.
Nice birthday present! I'm not a big fan of unboxing in reviews...I'd rather go straight to the pen itself. Shorter reviews are fine for new versions of well-reviewed pens like the Sailor 1911 Large, but I do like lengthier reviews for pens or brands new to the market or a new line or substantial change of an existing brand. And yes, I'm interested in stationery, paper and notebooks too.
Sailor is dead to me now. I have several of them because they are gorgeous but at the end of the day I cannot stand how they write. Much too dry! The 21k nib is the worst! My Sailor 1911 Compass steel nib writes better than the 21k nib. The PGS is actually the only nib of sailor that I enjoy. No more Sailor pens for me.
hey that's some pretty nice intro and outro music i wonder who made it
if only there was a way to know this 🧐🤔🤔
I prefer the longer videos and bring on the stationery and stuff! Yes!!!🙌

I agree about some nibs not being meant to wow! This is a definite workhorse rather than a super expressive pen.
@@oliveboypens I’m about to do a live video
@@oliveboypens stop in and we can chat on the workhorse nib

Defo do some stationary also. Your videos are great.
I'm glad you think so, because I've already recorded said stationery video 😅
