I really enjoy watching your flying. It's smooth, flowing, and understandable vs some others that are just bouncing around like the models having a seizure.
Nice flight. Those inverted piros are hypnotic 😵I love my 550s. I have a decade old 550E that I converted to DFC when that came to be and liked it so much I bought a spare DFC kit on sale also a long time ago. Last summer I had to finally switch to the second one because I think my elevator servo is acting up on the first. All head parts and the servos seem ok on the bench, but it dips (kind of like a lag) in the tail when climbing abruptly. Those are original 610Ms from the kit 🤠, so they've far exceeded expectations. I also have a 700E converted to DFC over a decade ago. I fly that one much less often, but it has held up perfectly too. The joy the hobby brings is so great. Let the bosses know that they had such an impact.
I agree that the sideways loops are my favorite as well. Loved the landing! - I have a 470lm that I currently fly, and altho I’m a beginner I can say that it’s an excellent flying model. I’m halfway thru the build on my 550X - can’t wait for it to fly!
Thank you. I would say you will really enjoy the upgrade of going to a larger Heli with the 550X. They are just a little more stable and easier to see which makes practicing more enjoyable and easier

Fantastic. What are your recommendations to improve my skills? Knowing I am 50 and am flying a Blade Nano 3S since 1 month. 😂 Also bought the Next simulator. Any suggestions. I did a lot of RC car races and fast monster truck events when I was young, so I do have a decent foundation in RC cars.
Have you got 600 blades on that Alan? I got my 550x yesterday & sat it beside my raptor 50 & they’re the same length so I put a set of 600mm led night blades on the 550x which suit it better as the 550 blades were level with the horizontal fin, I noticed yours are closer to the tail blades
Love it. I don't know why, but my favorite looking move of yours is the sideways loops! It was so freaking cool when I saw that. I had never seen it done like that b4. I'd assume it's belt?. Or, is it a TT? Great flying as always, stay blessed

Also converted my 550e to dfc.its my favorite go to heli,always has been,and thats out of a fleet of 7.

I’ve been flying R/C helicopters now for 26 years. I started when I was 13. I started flying R/C planes when I was 4.

I've never measured them but they should be the 550s as its a stock kit that's never been crashed and nothings been replaced.

They cyclic gain is set to 60% at this headspeed.
is that 550X your preffered rc heli?
For just going out and having some quick fun yes. For the ultimate performance the new TB70 is truly my favorite heli at the moment.
