Brings back memories for me !!
I give my thanks and support to the Royal Nave for protecting our lives.
I see you were being watched !!! 😂 Great video. Thanks.
A 4 year refit. She is almost 30 years old . I thought their max age was around that? Shows how long it will take for her replacement HMS Valiant to build. A minimum 10 more years.
All four Vanguard class are still in service and her replacement is going to be the Dreadnought class, part of the Successor project - due to come on stream from the mid 2030s, so the V class subs will be with us for at least 15-20 years yet, possibly longer!! Valiant is expected to enter service in the mid-late 2030s with the last, HMS KING GEORGE VI, not entering service probably until the early to mid 2040s. Interestingly, their projected lifespan is 35-40 years.
I remember I was there and I saw it!
The diver standing with the deck party was a woman....red hair red suit lovely blue eyes....
