If you love it sooo muuuch! Why are’nt you there?
Hello from America. I absolutely adore Uganda. I was deployed there in the 90’s and it was the most amazing place I have ever been.
A city with different colors
A country of different nation
Uganda the pearl of Africa
Way back in 1972 we made a school trip from Jinja to Kampala, and I can remember some of the places you showed. The Kabaka's lake, the royal tombs. My family left Uganda in November of that year.
The car in the clip that you said you like is a Mercedes Benz (W108 chasis). Very good car, I had one. Thumbs up.
Thank you for this wonderful video! I am learning about Kampala in school and this video really felt like I was there myself.
There's no place like home, vlogs like these are so nostalgic for me. I really do miss home, thanks for sharing the real Africa we don't get to see often enough.
Lovely you have made my day my father studied in Makerere University thank you. Tigress you are the best.
I am in Kampala when my second child born in India on 2012 oct 26, nice place beautiful, so lovely...missed the place..Great
Uganda surprises me. I'm very impressed with what I'm seeing. Thanks for the upload African tigeress.
But the poor don't eat roads. We need more traffic abiding citizens and traffic lights
There's absolutely nothing to be impressed about this video. The reason why everywhere looks like red mud is a result of not doing landscaping. It looks like there are lots of untared roads in Kampala. Uganda needs to go to next door Rwanda to learn a thing or two about makeover
what's the impression ? using motor bike as means of transport in cosmopolitan city in the capital city go to Nigeria Abuja and see how a capital should be , or Accra Ghana, Kigali Rwadan go and see and stop celebrating failure

I respect your opinion on Uganda and I expect you to respect mine too.
My brother was named after Kabaka Mutesa and on my dads graduation, king Mutesa gave my brother a coin and blessed him he is a great Professor. Thank you Tigress for rekindling the good old past. My father was a very good educator.
Ohhh wooow... Wow... What a blessing!
leila Nabs256 in our case my brother is a well renounced educator. I think we have to respect the elders they are valuable in our society. Remember he shook his hand and gave him a coin. Maybe if he just shook his hand it would apply. Many people have their own beliefs thank you for sharing.
No matter what it remains our country and we are proud of it much love dear thanks alot
I'm from in the Caribbean 🇭🇹 Haiti
I really love my forefathers land Africa !!
When do you plan to visit

Thanks for showcasing the Pearl of Africa.
You are welcome 🤗
Digging the music, ‘a le le le clap for me, everybody clap for me👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿💃🏿💃🏿💃🏿💃🏿💃🏿💃🏿💃🏿💃🏿💃🏿😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂!!!’
Well done sis. You are doing an awesome job 👍
Thank you 🤗
It seems the area Kampala CBD was built on was meant to be a farmland. Reason the roads are so much stained with red soil.
Roney Ngala The cause for the reddish roads is due to the heavy rains in the country. Floods carry the soils to the roads.
Uganda is all fertile
Thank you yet again for the wonderful tour of Kampala City.
Thanks dear...
@African Tigress: good job! you’re content was informative & fun! you speak well & I’d say you’re personable! I’m Nigerian American living in Las Vegas, Nevada USA 🇺🇸!
~ keep up the good work, k!👍🏽✅
Thank you so much brother. Much love and respect
6 days left and I will be again in the pearl of Africa ❤️🇺🇬
They need to find anew location for a New Kampala!! The city Needs a New mayor capable of relocating land for a New well planned modern organised city thats eco friendly!!! I wouldn't vote for a mayor that doesn't have that in mind e.g New Airport , Business district, The Art district, The jewellery district, Fashion district , industrial Area , Health district , Judicial district , public Transportation district, education district, entertainment district , Park district and food district. Thats how you improve the wellbeing of your citizens and economy, by using home grown upcoming graduates talents and not outsiders. Plus the Image of the New city! By the way the whole country needs a rebirth. Somebody say Oooh my!! Dont forget to watch EAGT this coming Sunday LoL.
Your talking about Uganda where land is individually owned
@@trendeous4070 Well then the leaders don't care about the wellbeing of its people and image; They keep giving land away to Chinese, Indians and whites who in turn manipulate them.
Cart K
Mayor of Kampala isn’t independent my dear. So just know a dictator will always oppose good ideas from the opposition side
Government can buy land from individuals and relocate them
@@AFRICANTIGRESS Ugandans are too greedy, they will ask 10× more than the actual prices of their land
Kampala looks like it needs some serious makeover ,some TLC in terms of cleanliness and some strong traffic discipline enforcement.
It's very true
U right
There isn't even a makeover needed, the city need to be relocated period
In this same video I saw a red light but some one was just riding through
She didn't film the cleaner more organised bits in the city centre.
I love this song. Can listen all day long. I love the style of this little boys.
I'm so addicted to the song too. Viva Africa 💪
No matter what am proud to be half Ugandan and it’s the best country in Africa plus it’s also the pearl of Africa
💯
The Tigress on fire
😍
This city looks different in the areas where it's expanding to
The video was focused mostly on old Kampala, and the busy trading areas
Leaving the executive side of the city and more areas where it's expanding to. Like you saw at the end of video, the areas where more different and organised.
The heart of city is full of hustlers and crowded. But modernity is seen in other areas
Much love my Kampala
Straight outta Belgium😘
This is where my boda guy chose to take me... I have been to Kololo and Kisementi its amazing
@@AFRICANTIGRESS I appreciate your work
He had to show you some landmarks right.
But as you saw old Kampala as the point of modernity, the current city centre is a also part of those areas where the modernity started from that's why it's so congested.
@@AFRICANTIGRESS also the original plan of the city as you saw the centre streets was drawn by the BRITISH and was to work for only 50yrs
When they left
The city continued to develop on the old plan
Wow African tigress thank you so much for showing off my city. I've loved your channel girl. Love you so much.
great city ,we love you fellow east africans ,i'm from tz
Am tired with Nairobi... coming to Kampala soon

Thanks for uploading dia , am missing my country
Thanks sis
Lovely clip, I realize the city has changed a bit especially those statues near the palace at Lubiri and the palace grounds look much better.
Kampala needs to modernise very fast to meet 2019 standards.
hazel praise the city looks jam packed tho
No because africa won’t have the cultural look and spirit of the land and our ancestors. It’ll just look like white people
such a cool video. American media always makes Africa look like its all rural areas so it is very cool to see the cities of Uganda. Also gas is so cheap there!!!!
I like the u pronounce luganda words it's so funny hahaha thanks alot 💙 💙 💙 💙 💙 shadia Jamir Rahma watching from oman much love mainly from UG 🇺🇬 🇺🇬 🇺🇬

Are there any Indian's still living in Uganda? I remember there used to be a lot of Indian's back in 70's until Idi Amin passed a resolution to leave Uganda. It feels so much better to see Kampala making progress...would love to explore Africa once in my life😊 Love from India 😘❤
Hey nice video it's a beautiful city and lovely people.... I am Indian and I am planning to come there for work really loved it
My fevarite place Uganda,I love Uganda all places by heart.
The traditional Banganda dance is very similar to the traditional dance of the Tsonga people here in South Africa and Mozambique. Very beautiful.
Oh wow. We are one people separated by colonial borders
@@AFRICANTIGRESS Even when you spoke about the different clans of the Bunganda Kindgom having different animal statues representing the different clans. We have that as well here in Southern Africa. We call them totems in English. The biggest totem animals this side is the Crocodile and the Elephant, but there are many others as well like the Buffalo, Hyenas and so on. A lot of people would put a representation of that animal on their tombstone when a family member dies. Like Elephant tusks on the sides of the stone or draw a face of a crocodile on the stone, as a sign that they belong to that clan. We are all one people and we need to reclaim that oneness again.
I love the way you made it.
My city Kampala still behind anyway I appreciate your work 🙏🙏
Thanks dear 🤗
Now that was a realy, realy nice video.. since i will visit kampala in a few months i now have a better idea of the place, that was quiet a job to make it, but i am greatfull you did.
