This guy on this video is living large (he has plenty of money), Uganda is much cheaper than what he's showing. He's showing you what his budget affords him. If you eat street food and use Tubayo App to find a host family to stay with, things will be cheap. Visit Uganda for a 1-3 months, move around and make friends then you will have established a base for future migration. Uganda is amongst the most affordable countries in Africa. Start by befriending the Ugandan RUclips community then take it from there. Don't come across as having money because you will be taken to very expensive places. Just frequently watching these videos on Uganda has given me an edge on pricing. I watch Ugandan videos frequently, it's like I am living there. Hope this helps.
Before COVID, I was scheduled to come to Kampala in November so this video is very helpful. Will be there for sure in 2021 visiting, Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania

I love Cafe Java too. We ate at two locations (1) in Kampala and (1) in Entebbe. Uganda was never on our must see of countries on the continent, however, Uganda is definitely the Pearl of Africa!
