This store is Old Skool Gaming. Find there HERE: facebook.com/share/6suCsXNvHXgTk7vy/?mibextid=LQQJ4d
One of my pet peeves is when things don't have a price on them. I don't want to be bugging the owner every 30 seconds to ask the price of things.
I love how excited you get over nostalgia, you're a catch forsure. 😊
Omg that Castlevania box art is beautiful
Entertainment world, vintage gamer and this store are my 3 favorite shops around Birmingham
Just found your channel and really enjoyed your video. It bought back tons of memories of the 90s for me. Between 1989 and 1996 I worked on numerous video games magazines and TV shows and we’d regularily get sent games to review weeks before they were in the shops. This meant most of the games I got back in the day never had boxes and were sometimes just the raw chips that we had to mount on special boards and insert into consoles. Your videos have inspired me to dig out all my old stuff I was sent as a member of the video games press that I’ve not seen for 30 years. I know I’ve got some amazing stuff in my cupboards hidden away lol. Looking forward to the weekend 😁
looked like a nice shop that. Gemma touring up and down the country looking for games shops. Love it
Busy girl. It worries me sometimes because I never stop 😆😆😆
Awesome what a store. That Fist of the North Star GB would of been snapped up! 😃 Got to make my way up to these places one day! 🤙
That iridion 3d for gba at 16:50
Love exclusive titles. And it looks like a cool shoot em up. Hard to find those complete like that. Never heard of this title though.
Wipeout 2097 is a must have for the PlayStation. It's a iconic game and there was a recent documentary about it's soundtrack on RUclips. I loved playing this game on a CRT back in the day, it just felt epic driving around in futuristic vehicles racing on tracks against others, it's alot of fun. Perhaps not the best racing game ever, but it's still one of the better futuristic racing games on the PS1.
Crap game but good music
When I was working on a TV show I did an item about Wipeout and the company sent me about 100 A5 original artworks from the design of the game to use on TV. I kept them and they’ve been in my mums loft for 30 years! I need to dig them out again lol.
Great video. Love seeing the games I grew up with and neat to see the UK artwork/boxes. Subscribed.
Thank you Wilks. The nostalgia is real! Enjoy the episodes and happy gaming
I've never heard of Rocketeer before. Ah, that minty fresh attack smell😂I love Sonic Chaos. I remember completing that in one sitting on my auntie's Game Gear back in the day😊Great video as always Gemma
Thanks mate
What an awesome shop!! Looks great, good size. Awesome pickups brev ❤❤❤
YET AGAIN, my guy Reecey swoops in! Thank you for watching and thank you for the Super Chat. Much love
As someone who is a bit younger (21) and my first game console being a Wii, I find watching these videos a breath of fresh air, really enjoy watching these. Thank you.
You are very welcome. Thanks for the cool comment
It's brilliant ur gen can get enjoyment from the retro stuff aaswell as us oldies 😅
nice to see castlevania i still have my castlevania symphony of the night ps1 cd double with a art book and audio cd
Great finds Gemma. I’m curious, if you want to tell me, how much is your game Collection worth? I use the app on price charting to keep track of how many games I have and how much it’s worth. I’m a few dollars away from 75,000 dollars. Of course I didn’t pay near that cause I started seriously collecting around 2002. So I got most of my retro games for practically nothing, people were basically just giving their stuff away. lol.
Holy molly, that's one great looking shop! Great pick-ups, too 👍
I mean, another Panasonic Q and a PS Store light!!!!
@@TheGebs24 That's so rare seeing those two in the same space.
Also Plok is a underrated classic
The soundtrack🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
@@kiwisen It's a bop!
It is a banger
Some great stores there!!! I had that Fist of the Northstar when I was a teen, love it when I see it in the wild. The Rocketeer on SNES is decent, the flying in the beginning is annoying…I honestly prefer the NES version 🤷🏼♂️
Great vid madam, will try to catch up on more!!!
Fantastic finds Gemma 🤘
Love vintage gaming!
Currently gaming on a pS4, but I'd never part with my Megadrive, N64, PlayStation, Xbox, Gamecube and 360. Gutted I got rid of my SNES (to buy PlayStation back in the day) and Dreamcast.
Good call on the Milky Way 👍
Awsome finding these retro game stores
Truly
Another great find round the corner from one of my offices thats crazy. Suddenly i feel the need to go in for the day
Jealous I'd have to swim to get there ffs
Oh wow so cool it’s way too far away from me lol
Sega extreme sports is such an underrated game. Still play it now...great game
This comment 💪
Great hunt as always keep watching when your scanning the PlayStation shelves for missing games I am looking for
That’s the best part because it’s like viewers are going shopping too
I used to play Super Mario Kart for SNES 9:16, 1 of my friends had it.
For nostalgia, that’s my fave game in the world
I still have my original, first release PS3 60GB console, and I have never had any issues with it (unlike the 2 XBOX360 paperweights I own), and it is still functioning well to this day!
Be good to it the lens for blue Ray can burn out on the 60gb, don't bing watch blue Ray's like we do on streaming sites it will burn out eventually.
Ironically.. the only broken console i have is a first gen Ps3, but both x360's runs flawlessly. XD
I do however have a working ps3 as well, so all good.
I used to own the vhs of rocketeer movie as a kid. Loved the movie as a kid with Timothy dalton as the bad guy 😂 Jennifer Connelly also. You should give it a watch if you’ve never seen it before.
What a beautiful shop ❤ I love retro game hunting ❤
Retro game hunting is my passion
@@TheGebs24 I love it 🥰 too so much would you say prices are better in the u.k or u.s? I’m in Canada but u have a usa friend.
I remember seeing Rocketeer in the video rental shop when I was a kid. I don’t think it was rented much.. always sitting in the same spot on the shelf. I figured I had never seen the movie so I wouldn’t like the game. Haha
That store was amazing loads of grest games in stock, not too keen seeing them in vhs boxes prefer them in the original snes boxes. They have a copy of metal gear on the NES in my local cex it looks great i would buy it if i had a NES
King of Monsters looks very amazing for the SNES which is much cheaper than the Neo Geo AES version which is way too bloody expensive!! Thanks for sharing Gem!
Love watching your vids!!!!
Glad you like them! Thank you
Woohoo, Black Country games tour!
There’s LOADS in that area but i didn’t have time to visit. I never knew this store existed until last weekend. It’s amazing
Had a new Lara Croft 1996 Game Shop figure of 1.70m and it is awsome so i totaly get your passion of Game Hunting here gets me exited to go out again to get some loot ;)
I have an original PlayStation light very similar to that, wonder what it’s worth?
🧐 What are those two pixel light clocks that I see in the background?? Those are Rad AF 😃
Have a look in my YT Shorts playlist and you will see a recent short about them :)
Please where do you get your pixel screens from? Thank you

I saw some resident evil goodness I'm liking that. Very nice shop so many nice gaming things.
Which RE stuff caught your eye? 👁️
@@TheGebs24 love it all. But what caught my eye was the red steal book RE4 which was hidden in the back of the glass cabinet and the resident evil big box pc game 😊
Love it! Love it! Love it!
I had the Rocketeer! I remember that it wasn't that good!
I need that Metal Gear. I'm trying to collect all the Konami silver box games, and I need all the European versions. Tough to find when I live in the states.
Calls Hagane a terrible game then buys the Rocketeer of AVGN fame 🤦🤦
It's crazy that they had multiple copies of Shenmue 2 on the Dreamcast. That was super rare at some point. You should play that, Gemma.
Ducati World isn't very good, but, back in the day, I still purchased it and finished it. I had Metal Gear on the NES, back in the day. It's funny to see Snake depicted as Michael Biehn from The Terminator/Aliens on the boxart.
Thank you for the great video!
Never rare
@@markhammond2859 Good point. However, it was never released on the Dreamcast in America though. We were lucky to get it in Europe.
hi gemma enjoy the videos just bought snes for nina and karl awesome store what games should i buy for sneseven if tell me games for n64 any help be great thnx
Where is this store
King of the monsters is the SNES port of the Neo Geo game. 😊😊 It's a fun game for sure.
Where did you get the Nintendo clock
Fighting Force 64 is fantastic! That double sided N64 console box display is awesome! 🔥
I defo need to get FF64 then mate :)
@@TheGebs24 The North American version comes with temporary tattoos in the box. Keep an eye out for that if you find it.
@@GamerAhmer 🤣🤣🤣 Temp tattoos. This is everything 💪💪
The Rocketeer wasn't a great SNES game but does have some neat parts from the movie. There was a Space Mega Force aka Super Aleste in that loose super nintendo case and that game rules if you ever go to that shop again and its still there.
I love finding obscure games
What is the name of this shop Gem? I'll be in Brum in a week's time and would like to visit. Thanx!
It’s linked in the description Ed
I got an original xbox Live led board. Its rare but very cool
I have 2 questions: Where is this store at? And if they have a website? Please and thanks for the video.
Their Facebook page is linked in the description. Drop them a message
If you play the rocketeer and have trouble with the flying race. ONLY LOOK AT THE TINY MAP ON THE BOTTOM. This will help you judge where your plane is and help you control it. Looking at the actual planes flying is impossible to control.
Around 3:58 there's orbs flying all over
So sad that retro games are so over-priced these days.
Its nothing but greed.
another awesome video gemma!!!!!!!!
Thanks Jason. What would you have brought?
@@TheGebs24 i would have brought some nes games because the nes is my favorite console of all time gemma!!!!!
If I’m over stimulated, I’m happy! 😅
Love the video ❤❤❤❤🎉
King of the monsters 2 is one my favorites.
you bought that Metal Gear for 85? yikes.....
incomplete manual, and the map is also missing.
wow they had some cracking titles in there gem
What would you have brought?
like you proberly everthing in there 😂😂, there was that much in there for me to buy I would have been like a kid in a sweet shop, my credit card would have gone into overdrive,, proberly would have made a cheeky offer for that panasonic q above what he was selling it for, even though it was sold, I myself on my list to purchase am after a decent copy complete of streets of rage 3,a complete ps1 castlevania symphony of the night, and a boxed complete snes double dragon 3 👍
When I see Nintendo carboard, I am of the opinion it should be mandatory that sellers sell them with a box protector. Preseervation is key these days.
Where would you rate Jurassic park 8-bit game?
Where is this store and what's it called? I don't think you mentioned it by name or location once.
It’s linked in the description
@@TheGebs24 but not in the video itself? That’s a bit of an oversight.
Not in the description?
The Rocketeer was an Amiga game and it was obviously ported to various consoles .
No that was Rocket Ranger. The Rocketeer for SNES was crap and completely different
@@northsouthy74 There WAS a version of the Rocketeer on Amiga .... I played Rocket Ranger as well along with It Came From The Desert et al .....
@@PhilipKerry Nope, it was planned but never released
@@northsouthy74 I actually played it on Amiga ...,.,.....
@@PhilipKerry if you say so lol
Do they ship overseas,? I been looking for Resident Evil survivor 2 pal.
Drop them a DM on FB
Where was this video filmed then?

Need to be careful with those Dreamcast cases, they crack so easily! 😬
Well, my budget has gone for the next 2 weeks after buying Castlevania Symphony of the night on PS1 and R type 3 on Snes.
Every time I see Gauntlet Legends I kick myself. How the hell did I let this one pass me by on Dreamcast and Gamecube especially.
I wish I could give to thumbs up for this
Thanks mate.
completely glossed over Panzer Dragoon for the Dream Cast the store owner will probably want pretty penny for that.
Soon children everywhere will never hold a boxed game ever again... makes me sad to think about.
Hottie. And likes games. Awesome
My brother had a snes and I had the mega drive a lot of these games bring back memories but let’s be honest most mega drive games were crap
I wouldn’t say they were that bad 🤣🤣
ohh man loved the video, but for the love of god don’t manhandle the boxes, trying to open them with one hand, I died a little inside seeing that..
🎮🎮👍 the is good 👍
Uh oh !!! ... Lovely jublee is indeed something a 50+ year old would say. Be careful now !!!
That Metal Gear is missing the map just to let you know. Is that another game shop that doesn't have prices on games? Getting more common it seems that... 😞
It is indeed missing the map 🗺️
She mentions that MGS is missing the map at 23:03
Have king of the monsters on my snk arcade classic vol 1. (Ps2) Worst game on the collection.
Honestly do not get that game.
So a explanation would be nice.
