Is it the same as a Tiger or Lion or Wolf or Leppard to eat a baby zebra, etc . They literally don't eat any source of greens , the nutrition from plant based animals is where they receive those vitamins from . Imagine being alive, feeling an animal slowly pulling your intestines out as you suffer, laying on the ground. I think I'd rather have my throat slashed after a bolt went into my head to kill me instantly . It's OK if an animal would kill a human like this, but not if we try to be as humane as we can to kill them . Predative animals in general follow herds across land for extremely long distances to have necessary food to survive. However, the advantage of herding animals also means that predators may also target them specifically because they are more likely to successfully hunt an individual from a herd than a solitary animal. Predators may also target the young, old, or injured animals in a herd, as they are more vulnerable and easier to catch. So in sense they are collectively eating in a free range style. Their for it should be acceptable for humans to do so as well. It is important to have people who are Vegans and vegetarians reminding us that their is good nutrition in plant based foods , although you do need to return respect for those who need to eat meat in their diet. This is also no different to insects/mammals ect ect . So basically, it is alright for a vegan to rape/slaughter plants/Vegetables/Fruit . It is irrelevant if you think it is humanely correct with the research that we have collectively gathered, but that does not give you the choice to do so . In other words, contradiction is only valid by those who feel it's necessary by one's standards of living. I'm right , you're right , the only one's suffering is nature it's self . May I guide you through this composition of life in which you are finding difficult to understand. If we humans were to overpopulate earth itself and indeed we will , whose choice is it then to deny one's life's existence , in that I mean all species. Do you choose animals to live free and cut back on humans or visa versa. Your argument is obsolete , but that is ok 👍 as humans it is ok to make mistakes. This is why we have evolved to be the dominant species.
No! You poor thing! That really sucks. My second time having Covid was October of last year and I can gratefully say I had very mild symptoms. I only tested because of a scratchy throat and slight heaviness in my chest and everyone around me had it. I am of an age so very grateful to come away unscathed! A punctured lung is serious so I do hope you’re healed and healthy again💚
Hope you get better soon! This video is not boring at all. I find it quite inspiring, wholesome and healthy how you are taking care of yourself when sick. Putting in all the good comforting food, vitamins and plenty of fluids. I think many of us forget how important this is, or that we even deserve self-care. So thank you for reminding us. This is wonderful to see. Lots of love, get well soon!
This weekend, I caught COVID for the first time at a HOSPITAL (of all places). I am grateful for this vlog because (1) I had no absolutely clue how to treat COVID , and (2) you showed that being home alone while sick is manageable. 💖👸🏽😊
If you normally drink caffeine every day you can have a episode of caffeine abstinence, that headache is intense and comes often the second and/or third day without caffeine. It’s enough just to have a cup of black tea
Oh bummer... I just caught it for the first time, after being sick with a bad cold for a few weeks. We had to postpone our family holiday gathering until this weekend. Hope you and everyone else are feeling better-- stuff has been going around!
that is so creative. I have begun adding oatmeal to beans and anything I want to thicken. Stepping even firther outside the box I made taco spaghetti , basically with a pack of beyond some taco spice and noodles. When we were kids we had tacos with doritto chips. And they are so over powering. So the noodle base for tacos really allowed the taco spices to stand on their own. And the other day (I have a wheat or yeast allergy) I got some keto spinach burrito rolls, and made PBJ out of spinach burritos? Look at me, I can cook.
I got it exactly 2 years ago and im still recovering from "long covid". Spending the holidays completely alone since its going around again. Wishing you a speedy recovery!
Go on a keto or no sugar elimination diet - that seems to help get rid of lingering symptoms ❤ don’t isolate too much either. Loneliness is extremely bad for our health
When I was sick as a Child my Mom used to make the Austrian Version of Congee - it's called Reis oder Hafer-Schleim-Suppe, which means Rice oder Oat-Slime-Soup 😂 Rice or Oats cooked until 'creamy', with a light broth. Oftentimes with Carrots. And instead of Soysauce we used Maggi Seasoning, which u can find in most Austrian homes.
Hope you feel better soon! How have I never thought to put tofu in my oatmeal! I love it savory and make it in my rice cooker so it’s really easy and quick.
I can so relate, have been sick for several weeks but testing is negative thank goodness. I've been surviving on soups. Hope you get well soon and Happy New Year!
Hi Rose 🙋♀️I wanted to let you know that I made the Congee with rice recipe already and just loved it! Today I was craving your Congee with the oats spin on it. I’m ready to eat my savory late lunch now here in Modesto, California and wanted to shared it came out amazing 😋 as also thank you Miss Amazing Rose! I appreciate you and your channel SO much/always 🙌🤗❤️👏!
Hope you feel better soon! My wife has had so many health problems due to Covid. Take care of yourself and kick some Covid @$$. Wishing you the best as we ring in the new year.
I love seeing what others eat when they are not feeling well. All of your food looked so comforting/nourishing. Do you know of any brands of noodles/kelp/seaweed that have recyclable or less packaging? This is always a challenge for me. Hope you feel better soon!!
I have covid too. It happened the same way as yours. It felt like a cold that dipped and then started to come back. The symptoms of stayed pretty mild but I've just been sleeping a lot
I got Covid in December for the very first time since the pandemic started, what saddened me the most was the complete loss of taste and smell after about 2 days of initially testing positive. Took very long to recover, even now I still can’t fully taste and smell as good as I used to, but it gets better slowly.
My night crew coworkers gave me covid in november. I had no way to avoid it. I have been getting sick repeatedly throughout the winter. I pray 2024 is a better year for staying healthy.
How I feel this video! I'm so impressed you even got around to filming. I was sick for almost 2 weeks right before Christmas. I tested a couple of times and was always negative so I think I caught the nasty cold or flu that's been making the rounds here in Germany. But my doctor's office also said they had like 22 new cases daily, hence the testing. I had fever for 3 days (luckily always went down after I took ibuprofen) and was so brain fogged. I was searching for something in the fridge that was going to a quick fix in the oven, but I couldn't find it anywhere. A day or two later when I wasn't so much in that clouded brain state I found it in the veggie drawer... The fourth day I woke up to the worst ear and throat pain, sometimes even just breathing caused painful jabs. Ibuprofen to the win once again. After that it got better, my runny nose got better, but my cough stayed for a while longer. I really thought I'd be better after spending like half a week basically in bed, but taking a walk and loading the dishwasher made me super tired, so I got put on sick leave even longer. Good thing too, because it took a few more days to finally not be super exhausted from the smallest things and I was still coughing anyway. Multiple people at my job got sick as well, 2 even got Covid during the same time. Then Christmas came and I was finally almost down to no coughing, but first my brother, then my mum got sick. Both negative but both like bed or sofa ridden for multiple days.
Get well soon. Covid is a serious disease. Take care. I' ve never been infected because I wear a mask when I deal with people. I know that masks are annoying for many people. But being sick is even more annoying.
I've unfortunately had it twice. The first was the initial wave back in early 2020 before they really started testing for it. The second was Omnicron. Both times sucked.

So glad you are feeling better. Looks like you were able to get more great ingredients by the 3rd day to heal yourself. Thank you for walking us through your experience and letting us see what helps to get through COVID and eat to heal out of COVID. Yay for soups😋😊😎😷🙋♀️
The first time I got Covid lost my smell& taste it was so weird, tan a high fever for 2 weeks which is the worse thing of all for me. The brain process was so slow it was crazy. Couldn't read or focus. Second time I got it was like the flu for 5 days. Hoping you're feeling better fast. I never thought of making oatmeal with garlic and soy sauce how interesting need to try this. God bless your health journey.
Well they didn't catch it because they were vaccinated, but the vaccine can help lessen symptoms. Also you may have had it and been asymptomatic. Just to throw another anecdotal experience out there, I'm vaccinated and also have never had Covid.
I got Covid before the vaccines rolled out. Lost my sense of taste and smell. It was pretty weird, but it didn't stop me from doing regular chores around the house.. just made it harder to chase my kid around the house. I took Usnea (a medicinal plant) while I had Covid, and I think it made a difference. I recovered pretty well.
I hope you feel better soon, Rose. I ❤ your channel & can tell you're a special young lady. & believe it or not, but... I've NEVER HAD COVID! Must be the only person in the world not to. I've been super-vigilant-- always wear a mask, avoid crowds, etc-- 'cause I have plenty of the dangerous underlying conditions and so far {knocks on wood} I've steered clear.
Maybe you had it but you’re asymptomatic? Btw idk if you’re into nyc vlogs but if so, you might like mine! I’d be sooo grateful if you swung by and took a peek. 🙏 Stick around if you like!
My sister and best friend have never tested positive or had symptoms either, but they've both taken care of their spouses and children while they had it, slept in same bed, etc. Very doubtful they have never had it. They just didn't know it. This is why it can spread so easily.
Get well soon. I like the idea of the oatmeal congee, it never occurred to me to make oatmeal savory that way, and it looks much easier to make than rice congee, so I shared the idea with a friend who has covid now.
I haven’t gotten COVID. I have been sick free way before COVID not even a cold. I’m 49 years old, plant based and never felt so healthy. It’s almost been 10 years since I’ve been sick. Anyways , I love your videos! Thank you for sharing.

I caught Covid for the second time too. I was so sick I passed out in the shower and broke 3 ribs and pierced a lung…. I wish you a speedy recovery.
Damn.. I hope you get a speedy recovery as well..
OMG praying for your recovery!
Please mask. Recurrent COVID infections aren't good for your long-term health. I hope you heal up and feel better soon!

Greens, fresh herbs, lemon and ginger, comforting warm protein soups, you know what to do. Rest and feel better!
Add some miso paste and sushi vinegar to the noodle soup for better flavour.
