Great performance, and great poem / song - but this might not be the best piece to recite at a wedding, as it is ultimately about unfulfilled love, unrequited longing and alienated lonelines... a bit dark for a happy wedding.

What a strange song for a wedding
Chosen by the couple and holds a particular meaning for them both.
Very inappropriate for a wedding ceremony, the song is about unrequited love. Fair rendition of Mr Kavanagh’s poem though.

Nonsense, it is about a man's courage to go after a woman he has affection for. It doesn't work out in the song, but it is very relatable non the less.
