Dad (21 year AF navigator, bombardier) would never watch an aviation video, but he did sit through my VHS tape of "Threshold, the Blue Angels Experience". That was a great movie with the F-4J unit and much larger cameras for the time. IMAX is amazing! I was starting private pilot training at Reno-Stead for a month, including aerobatics, and I felt closer to motion sickness in the UNR Planetarium theater watching an IMAX film featuring a recon flight down an African before the first raft and kayak trip down that river.

Thank you for making this film. I saw it twice in a standard theater. AMC in Brentwood didn't want to show Blue Angels in IMAX, sadly. The movie also didn't start until a week after it was scheduled to be. This is not only a film about the finest military aviators; but, about leadership and accountability. Thank you.

I saw the Blue Angels IMAX movie the first day it was released at a local IMAX theater, May 17. Outstanding cinematography and the honest look BTS with the members of the team was especially appreciated by me. One of the happiest times of my life was when I walked out on the flight line to do my job as part of the maintenance team in the Air Force as a weapons loader, or AO’s Navy speak!😉👍🇺🇸 BTW, going to see it again later today 👍

I was on the pier for the sneak pass at Pensacola with Rugdance. I’d been photographing the show for a few years on the pier, from inside the airshow box, and this group of people made it all the more special.

Wish I had seen this before the movie. I would have known particular things to look for.

What a great documentary!! A group of six old has been pilots, I was the only one who actually was an Airdale (AT2 58-61) in the US Navy., drove from Mobile, AL to Pensacola, FL on Sunday to watch the 1430 hr presentation of the film in the IMAX Theater. It was an outstanding movie. I remember going to NAS Pensacola to see the 50th reunion of the Blue Angels and got to meet John "Gucci" Foley in person on the flight line during the show. I also have a much shown the VHS tape of "Around The World Speed of Sound. I have almost worn out the tape from watching it so many times. I am hoping it might be re-released in Blu Ray format Thanks to Boss and all the people who were responsible for making this movie happen. GO NAVY Jim Younce AT2 - HS-7
