The Blue Angels have become DEI like everything else in this woke society... its no longer the "best of the best" You can't tell me for one minute that a team that is strictly volunteer, that has been male-dominant since its inception, whose members pick the next team members, would be unanimous in voting among all men, to let a woman in, unless they got pressure from the woke brass above them. It's not a question of whether a woman can do it, sure they can, and they are damn good pilots, but it's a question of that "bond" that "comradery" the "brotherhood" that made them unique that has been shattered. It's no longer a fraternity.

This is a perfect illustration of what happens when you surround yourself with people who have a positive universal agenda. HTBH!!!

sounds one coward neurosurgeon to me. Nor sure whther it come from a lack of traning and exposure or just because you are a sissy by nature. It takes courage and a lot of responsibilty as well as tremendous skill to go to Basilar Apex and put a clip on that aneurysm and sneak out without hurting the patient. So while you can eject from a cockpit and save your life, you can not eject the surgery, you take responsibility for it. The question is "do you have the balls to do it" "can you stand up with your back straight and take on the challenge?"

Mr. Foley sir, I am in total agreement with you regarding the new Blue Angel documentary recently released. Awesome stuff, put a tear in my eye at the end! As a brat of a 30 year Navy vet, I fell in love with the Blue's as a kid when they flew the F-4's/ Then the Skyhawks and then on to the F-18's. My dad worked for M.D. upon retirement and each year would give me a Best Wishes poster including your 1990 role as Narrator over Whidbey Island, your 1991 Opposing solo over D.C and then your 1992 Lead solo over the Statue of Liberty. They are still in my garage to this day and I look at them everyday! I have always been amazed at the skill and dedication of all Blue Angel pilots but you sir will always be my favorite! Thanks for all you have done and continue to do with your motivational talks. You're the man John.
