Nathan, man, much respect. Seriously, you cruise through completely foreign areas with confidence. It's not a cocky confidence, it's a graceful poise. Your calm, light-hearted character gives the feeling of safety even when surrounded by the unknown.
As a South African patriot, (not without frustrations) I'd really like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for showing mostly the positive things about our beautiful country. I love the Western Cape (WC) and the pot full of cultures so much that I have bought a piece of land in Kleinbaai to retire. You'll have to come visit one day and do a Marine-Big 5 sea-safari (not all see them all though), and some shark cave diving. There is so much more to see in South Africa. Sadly not all South Africans can nearly afford to see all these beautiful places or afford the accommodation, however your good work brings in more tourists, who in turn bring in foreign revenue and in turn eventually will uplift the poor in the RSA. Thank you, love your videos and positive outlook.
Respect, if I was born in another time I'd join the Belgium Paratroopers or Rhodesia's fight. South Africa was the pinnacle progress, still relatively untapped of it's potential. Cape Town without a doubt is the most beautiful city in the world.
Seriously a great synopsis of info for anyone planning to visit CapeTown! Tons of good info! If I were to visit, just seeing the Coastline would probably be enough to fill my heart! Stay safe and HBD again Olivia!!

I've lived here for many years, but I think I become complacent with how amazing the city actually is (I've never loved it any less) until I see it from a tourist's eyes.
its middle eastern accent at the beach for me. he nailed it. lovely to see you enjoying our beautiful ZA. it is an amazing place here. cape town is just 20% of the wonderful places you can visit in south africa. the coutry is just a tourist destination everywhere you go. We are currently working on addressing the current crime issue which are caused by unmanned borders. once that is sorted out we will have much less crime issues as the only crime we will deal with will be of locals and other documented visitors. But we are happy that you are here and you are happy to be here.
We never really had those homeless encampments until Covid. They were not allowed to be moved on by authorities due to Covid regulations and now they have become entrenched. The City is working to remedy the problem but as with lots of big cities is not straightforward to solve.
As long as the issue is not made into a business model for unscrupulous ministers, like in the United States. There are over 40 000 VETS homeless on the streets in the US. Thats JUST VETS!!
I have lived in various cities in different countries around the World, and I have to say that Cape Town in the summer is the most beautiful, vibrant, amazing city I have ever lived in
I live in Cape Town. You guys did an awesome job of showing some of the best bits. A great reminder of why we choose to live here. A real jewel. Come back!
I am loving the videos. We stayed at the Mount Nelson Hotel. If not the oldest hotel close to it. Our view was of Table Mountain, it was spectacular. We then moved inland to the Palace. We stayed there for another 10 days. We went on Safari and actually visited with a tribe in the bush.
We lived in De Waterkant for sixteen years. Very pleasant, safe and accessible. Great parking in Cape Quarter. Green Point and Sea Point are no different. We were sad to leave it all for a rural town.
@@smplfi9859 No, definitely not. We lost two businesses due to Govt's take on Covid-19, during which our friends died from cancer, heart attacks and everything else but ..
🎉🎉❤❤❤ Howzit guys wow as a south African. Welcome to my beautiful country. Thank you for a great vedio and excellent summary of our country. Yes the rich and poor live next too each other. And yes cape town has some super fancy places with modern infrastructure. Yes the taxi mini busese are everywhere. SA people love driving fast.. Yes south African people love the outdoor lifestyle and majority of people are fit and healthy. SA people are friendly.. So please ask if you need help or directions. Yes we all love coffee and a nice wine or craft beer always nice too enjoy. Wow thank you very much for a excellent vedio. Always welcome in south Africa. You have to try a safari in Kruger National Park.
Next year, stay a little longer and do the Cape Town Cycle Tour with us. You both seem quite fit so the 109km ride around the peninsula will be an absolute blast and an experience. You both seemed to have blended in so well and would never recognise you as tourists in passing.
an tip for most south african dogs just shout foetsek foetsek is an south african word that makes most south african dogs run away me as an south african i use this word my self and it always works
U.S.A has more serial killers and mass shootings than South Africa, Philly has drug problem chicago murder rate is insane..but thanks for visting our country. Most of us love our motherland❤
The Mandela glasses is positioned there also because it’s looking directly to Robben Island where he was jailed for several years due to his fight against Apartheid
Perspective, people. Not far from where you were sitting on Clifton Beach, just a few months ago, a live sheep was butchered to protest at the actions of security guards throwing black visitors off the beach....
Yes we young black people of this country will never tolerate again what our forefathers experienced being racially segregated not allowed to go swim in beaches which were exclusive to whites only, never again!!!!
So much for Bligh media paying people to watch these videos like it and then u get scammed if ever you on that platform Back out they thieves, extorted 180k from me 😢n refuses to give me back my monies

When you have lived in a place your whole life you forget it's beauty. This was a lovely video to watch, so beautifully captured.
so true

No one is messing with Nathan, that dude probably pumping out 100 push ups a day! That town looks so cool, great video
Loved the two pull ups - looked very easy and comfortable - great content - well done..
I go to Cape Town every year to cool down a bit and that is exactly where I do my groceries shopping.
As a Capetonian who doesn’t live there right now, the one thing I don’t miss is the wind in the summer months! Somedays it can be gale force.
The is the best part of living on the coast...i love it...its like a natural fan which is always welcoming.
I'm sure the wind doesn't miss you either😂
Watched dozen of CP videos.
You the best !!!
Great video- always a ton of info 😊 A big shout out to Olivia for her 30th birthday 🎂🎉 Cheers 🥂 ❤you guys and all your amazing efforts
As a Johannesburger your video makes me want to move to Cape town, I'm looking to fly there next week and will try out some of those places.
Please don't we need less Jo' burgers here 😉

Liburan yang menyenangkan.,salam kenal dan sehat selalu teman...!!!
You should definitely visit Manenberg. Pristine location in Cape Town with genuinely friendly people. Definitely worth the visit
😂
Do you know any home shelter around seapoint or Cape town CBD
I lived in CT during the 90s and you would be amazed at what a dead zone it was… it was called Slaapstad or Sleepytown in translation
Yes that was just a nickname but it was far from it even in the 90s trust me
Victoria & ALBERT!
Yee
CPT is Great city 👍💯

Does anyone know how much an one bedroom rental in D wanterkamp?

@@ONWorldTravel thank you
what times of the month would that be in Cape Town when its hot
Please what is the name of the hotel you stayed for your birthday?
Am planning a trip to cape town too😄
@saifmalami6149 I think it's called 'La Corniche' if I'm not mistaken... in Clifton.
You're more likely to get robbed in your hood than you are in Cape Town. 💯
please come back
Haha thanks! We would love to, definitely a lot more we wanted to do there!
Come to Fish Hoek and Simonstown....

The Mandela glasses is positioned there also because it’s looking directly to Robben Island where he was jailed for several years due to his fight against Apartheid
You should all so mention that he was branded a terrorist and a murderer .killing innocent white people .
Happy Birthday
you forgot to mention how "warm" the sea water is.
When visiting a country the last place I wanna go to is where all the tourists go.
I go to Virgin Active lol but the price is way less because of my medical aid.
That helps lol
Don't visit Cape Town in January. Too windy. Visit March, April or May.
What would be helpful is what you are paying say for one month. Thanks
Where are the huts and caves
I really miss your campervan days. Bye for now
👍
Wow .. how shallow .. the most important thing seems to be coffee and gyms ..
Perspective, people. Not far from where you were sitting on Clifton Beach, just a few months ago, a live sheep was butchered to protest at the actions of security guards throwing black visitors off the beach....
So we call it Imvana Beach now.
Thanks for sharing that. I now have perspective.
Yes we young black people of this country will never tolerate again what our forefathers experienced being racially segregated not allowed to go swim in beaches which were exclusive to whites only, never again!!!!
Im south african and you said de waterkant terrebly

Correction. South Africa is not a commonwealth nation. It used to be.
Nah bro CBD is not that dangerous witrh a camera.
Damn damn dangerous, like Somalia or Afghanistan 😂
No it's not. Those are war zones
