so in that year of 2017 i turn 18 in April, i went this event called “Grad Nite” in the Disneyland theme park, i also graduated from high school in May & finally i got to see Cars 3 in June. And let me say i really love & it enjoy watching this third movie

If you really think about it, all Sterling wanted what what's best for lightning in the moment, to be honest he should have moved on from racing and become a symbol outside of the sport. Like Hicks is with his talk show. Sterling not seeing the potential in Cruz is honestly not surprising seeming he'd literally never seen her do anything that would warrant her to be a Piston Cup Racer. Sterling is just one of those characters that made the Lightning realize "hey maybe I do need to move on." Which he realizes mid race and let's Cruz finish it. Sterling planted the idea Cruz made him realize. And obviously with Doc's words from the first film is also the planting of the idea, "know when to move on". This is such a deep film I absolutely love it.
All of Doc's new lines in this movie are from discarded voice recordings from the first movie. Instead of getting a new voice actor with a similar voice they respected Paul Newman's memory.

First Cars film is real gem. This is good second. I watched The shared universe films: Planes film, it was interesting albeit almost carbon copy of Cars in plot wise, its still nice film. The Planes 2 / Planes : Fire & Rescue did surprised me. It was very different yet it was enjoyable.

My opinion Cars 3 is the best movie out of the franchise. It does such a great job honoring the Fabulous Hudson Hornet, does a great job of bringing the next generation of racers, and does a great job with Lighting McQueen after his incident. The only thing is Mater isn’t in the movie as much as I wanted him to be in the movie.
I recommend you guys watch the Planes movies. They surprised me with how much I liked them. The first one does have the same formula as the first Cars film, but an international race this time, Planes Fire and Rescue is so cool and it's just interesting to get the perspective of aerial firefighting.
That's exactly what I thought, The King was literally a grandpa when McQueen started his career in Cars, the only thing I can say about it not being fair is that McQueen is an analog car and the movies "next gen" is packed with computers and sensors to tell them at what speed to get the curve, what path they should take and all the stuff like that, and this wouldn't happen IRL, why? New gen isn't gas powered, they are electric the same thing happened in F1 we have the old dino juice powered F1 and the all new Formula E
After a decade of wanting to get Lightning to join Dinoco, Tex FINALLY got what he wanted and Lightning got to fulfill his rookiee dream, while starting the next step of his racing journey as a mentor to the next generation.
BTW, it is an unfair advantage because although Jackson Storm is a no after parts stock car, he's still faster and would have to race against other high-end cars
So for anyone curious the two rusteze guys are actually these 2 radio hosts from an old radio show called "car talk" and when they would finish they would sign off with the whole "dont drive like my brother" thing

Cars 3, the best Cars movie by far. Apart from Cars 1. Also, Cars 3 is Pixar's best film apart from The Incredibles. Incredibles is my favourite movie of all time along with The Shawshank Redemption. Shawshank and Incredibles are two movies that you've gotta watch. They're both masterpieces.

Michael Keaton wasn’t asked to reprise his role as chick hicks because they thought he was too old for the part so they replaced him with Bob Patterson.
I was literally about to say that!!! Lightning was self centered and douchey but he was as never RUDE or DIRTY with the other racers, that was Chick’s job.
While throughout Cars 1 he was definitely arrogant and selfish. He was also very mean to Sally and Doc during the first half of his stay in Radiator Springs. However, he did come around later on and helped the King finish his final race. In Cars 2, it was about hit or miss. Lightning definitely had his great moments, but his most unlikable and out-of-character moment was his anger toward Mater in their spat after the first WGP race. Even though Mater should've stayed until the end of the race to help Lightning, he didn't know he was shouting into Lightning's radio at first. In Cars 3, Lightning may have been a bit salty when he struggled to keep up with the younger racers, but at least his temper made sense and it was in-character for him. For example, Lightning tried to follow Cruz's training methods, but it didn't click for him. Not out of defiance. Later after the Thunder Hollow fiasco, his anger toward Cruz was definitely justified because of how inconsiderate she was to him in the training center, and she literally embarrassed him in public.
i was not a fan of #2 tbh. I think 1 and 3 is all we needed lol. such a full circle moment. especially when u grew up with the franchise like i did lol. I was 12 when cars came out and i am now about to turn 30. life just moves on and you gotta move on with it. the first time i watched #3 i cried a little myself too😂😂
This movie hits u in the your getting old sector. Mrs fritter is there twisted version of ms frizzle from the magic school bus. Storm not only beat mcqueen he went of to fulfill lightnings original dream of winning the piston cup his rookie year.
McQueen didn't win the cup in his rookie year but I think that he didn't mind it as he had his personal win and in the opinion of every one else he did win that race, he stopped right before the line for a reason, I can even say that he won in the public opinion, he chose to save the movie and IRL legend of the King and he had a big lead on Chuj Hicks

Storm ended up being the first rookie in history to get a piston cup. So like i said, Storm not only beat mcqueen but fulfilled his original goal of being the first rookie with a piston cup.

I have said it before and I’ll say it again! It’s an amazing movie (Cars 2), BUT AS A STAND ALONE! It’s adorable, hilarious, sometimes sad, and ACTION PACKED. Phenomenal animation as always. It’s just a horrible sequel, literally doesn’t mention the first film other than Lightning being out racing, and Doc dying and everyone memorializing him. Then in Cars 3 nothing from Cars 2 is even mentioned or hinted at like it never existed. Just a mater toon tales movie, BUT IT IS A GREAT FILM! Great film, just crappy sequel.

Also Prime Lightning could have beat storm. Storm top speed is 214. Lightning's top speed in cars 2 was 225 cause Francesco toped at 220.
I was literally about to say that!!! Lightning was self centered and douchey but he was as never RUDE or DIRTY with the other racers, that was Chick’s job.
While throughout Cars 1 he was definitely arrogant and selfish. He was also very mean to Sally and Doc during the first half of his stay in Radiator Springs. However, he did come around later on and helped the King finish his final race. In Cars 2, it was about hit or miss. Lightning definitely had his great moments, but his most unlikable and out-of-character moment was his anger toward Mater in their spat after the first WGP race. Even though Mater should've stayed until the end of the race to help Lightning, he didn't know he was shouting into Lightning's radio at first. In Cars 3, Lightning may have been a bit salty when he struggled to keep up with the younger racers, but at least his temper made sense and it was in-character for him. For example, Lightning tried to follow Cruz's training methods, but it didn't click for him. Not out of defiance. Later after the Thunder Hollow fiasco, his anger toward Cruz was definitely justified because of how inconsiderate she was to him in the training center, and she literally embarrassed him in public.

i was not a fan of #2 tbh. I think 1 and 3 is all we needed lol. such a full circle moment. especially when u grew up with the franchise like i did lol. I was 12 when cars came out and i am now about to turn 30. life just moves on and you gotta move on with it. the first time i watched #3 i cried a little myself too😂😂

This movie hits u in the your getting old sector. Mrs fritter is there twisted version of ms frizzle from the magic school bus. Storm not only beat mcqueen he went of to fulfill lightnings original dream of winning the piston cup his rookie year.
McQueen didn't win the cup in his rookie year but I think that he didn't mind it as he had his personal win and in the opinion of every one else he did win that race, he stopped right before the line for a reason, I can even say that he won in the public opinion, he chose to save the movie and IRL legend of the King and he had a big lead on Chuj Hicks
@Czajnickov i know the movies what im saying is in cars 1 lightning big dream was to be the first rookie in history to get a piston cup. He backked out because yes he gained morals. Storm ended up being the first rookie in history to get a piston cup. So like i said, Storm not only beat mcqueen but fulfilled his original goal of being the first rookie with a piston cup.
Yeah, Cars 3 is by far my favorite...

I have said it before and I’ll say it again! It’s an amazing movie (Cars 2), BUT AS A STAND ALONE! It’s adorable, hilarious, sometimes sad, and ACTION PACKED. Phenomenal animation as always. It’s just a horrible sequel, literally doesn’t mention the first film other than Lightning being out racing, and Doc dying and everyone memorializing him. Then in Cars 3 nothing from Cars 2 is even mentioned or hinted at like it never existed. Just a mater toon tales movie, BUT IT IS A GREAT FILM! Great film, just crappy sequel.
