@@TransmissionOfPauer Depending on the car, it can be several seconds faster. Everyone is beating times compared to a year ago when the track wasn't paved yet.

@@unexplainedwearenotalone3537 the Solus will probably have faster lap times than the 750s. It’s more track focused. And we don’t have many lap times from the senna. It could still be an overall faster track car. But nonetheless, very impressive.

@@Marcello2005 anyone with half a brain does. Is is under a tonne. Has a shit load of downforce and is a track only prototype. The 720s GT3X did a 1.20. The solus would be considerably faster than that
This kid can drive. These other RUclipsrs getting more praise than Austin just blows my mind. Austin is an amazing driver and speaks very well. AUstin,your driving is very fast in high level even among professional drivers with excellent reflexes and yet you are not in a factory racing team, I think that GM Corvette Racing will contact you quickly, to be a factory racing test driver, you have rare talent and your technical analyzes are precise.

Yup, there are heavily upgraded 720s models here in the south with over 1500hp using internal engine upgrades plus larger turbos and methane injection & ice tanks with straight piped exhaust & transmission strengthening upgrades and race gas ecu tuning running 110 octane gas.. Some even have over 1600hp and weigh way less than a bugatti.. The only cars fast enough to keep up with them are the 2000hp+ twin turbo huracans cuz huracans weigh a few hundred pounds more than McLaren cars..

The 720s lineup so far is really a killer, engaging performance and driver engagement with performance that goes way beyond what it's rivals offer, 765lt was a drag monster, 720s was approching or even exceeding gt2 rs levels of track capability, good thing they are still making these cars. defintely will miss these cars when the hybrid successors come out with complex hybrid gizmos and gadgets while also weighing as much as a whale. Props to mclaren.👏

Impressive lap time for 750s. But I am not sure what Senna owners would think if they saw this lap time lol.
The track is much quicker because it's been resurfaced in 2023. Senna on the new track will be faster.
They repaved Laguna Seca which makes it quite a bit faster than it was before the repave.

I've gotten as fast as 1:01 on that track, in a video game.
The only standout that doesn’t fit the rest (outlier? Haha..) is the Taycan turbo GT in the high 127s… for a car that’s nearly 2000 lbs heavier is straight up nuts.
Having driven a Taycan Turbo S, I can believe it. It's stupidly fast.

fastest production car in the world as in no other production car in the world has set faster lap time at Laguna Seca. Laguna seca is world famous Track so therefore his “world record” claim is valid.
