    This is a track guide for the most part. Most new players are looking for help with controlling bike over steer and under steer with rider weight distribution by the analog stick, braking techniques (not just visual markers), bike electronic settings (anti-wheelie, engine brake, traction control) what values, when and why. The developers should step up with respect to information on their game. Would love to know for example, if there’s more grip available on the visible racing line after a few laps and rubber starts getting laid down on the tarmac.

      @whitewolf.. Год назад +1

      @clovdz6073 the AI in this game is untouchable even at the easy level. It is way too hard even for hard-core gamers. I have not seen a video where guidelines are set so that players can enjoy the game. I have tried numerous times failing in this game. Feel like selling this game. Ride 2 was way way better.

      @@whitewolf.. yeah I don’t understand how robo does it at 120% difficulty. I can do the slower bikes at like 80-90% but as soon as I step up to the 1000cc race models I gotta drop the difficulty down to like 40% to even stay with the pack.

    • @luislongoria6621
      @luislongoria6621 6 месяцев назад

      I run minimum final gear ratio just to see the back of the pack with aggressive acceleration and soft braking. Tyre wear seems to drop off the most on the 2nd lap

    Would really love to see more help videos and tutorials. Just got it as my first moto-racing game, love the difficulty. But every time I feel like I'm doing good, Hopping back at your videos and seeing that you did a race A LOT faster than me xD. Definitely having some hard time with the brake and turning, but that comes with the experience, I guess. Thanks a giant lot for all the content!

    Nice, smooth riding, man! This is my first motorcycle racing sim, and I’m loving it! It is crazy how different it is than car racing sims. I know that sounds obvious, but I was still surprised. The cornering can just be brutal, but it feels so damn good when you nail it.

      I've just started. I have ridden a little and passengered a heap of times on a big Japanese bike (a Ninja) though I don't ride irl.
      But I'm a massive car head and even though I've only played it once for about 40min with most of the assists on, this game feels so good.
      Control feels deep and 'realistic' like the best car games so I know it's going to feel so sweet once I've learned it.

  • @ZenSkorp

    Thanks a lot for this and all other videos! It really has helped me! I’m a huge car-game fan for a long long time but had never played any bike games although I love bikes irl (ride an R1 myself). Your videos sold me on this game and although the first couple of hours were PAINFUL now I’m loving it and feeling myself improve. One thing I would love to get some input on is the mechanics of the game and how/when you (or others) use certain things. For example, when do you click the tuck in button, when and how do you move the rider on the bike (left analog forward and backward), etc.

    • @luislongoria6621
      @luislongoria6621 6 месяцев назад

      Rear brake if you lose the front end, I'll have to remember that one! Front weight shift helps with turn in on fast sweepers yet the head bob tuck is more like DRS under acceleration

    Im really new at this game bought it today but anyways i noticed that when u race against ai try to imitate their lines at corners it helps alot, and another thing i realised is that for better grip and tighter turn its better to slow down before corner and then let it enginebrake the whole corner no brakes just enginebrake it has a lot better grip.

    After watcing this video, I think it would be a very helpful if you turned this into a series..like a "Track/s of the Week" sort of thing where you do a lap and breakdown of brake points, corner transitions, some unique up shift/down shift moments and just your overall mindset while you race the track/s. I think this help will many of us who really enjoy these games but still struggle with making the correct decisions with braking, corner entry/exit. Thanks for this content.

    Handy to know if you play the game, A lot of braking markers to memorize. I suppose you get used to it after a year or two 😃. Plus different bikes have different speeds so that wouldn't help! Great job helping out all the beginners of the game. People might be getting it for X-mass. Anyway, All the best & as usual stay safe. Great Job man.

    For the Suzuka corner on the R1, you can go in pretty hot with 3rd gear but you can't give it any throttle at all. I can feel the controller pretty much telling me "If you give this bike any throttle at all at this peed, I will tuck your front tyre!" LOL it's my favorite track right behind mugello though, I get some of my best races out of those two tracks. Great video!

    One thing that I absolutley hate about this game and prevents me to enjoy it is that the bike doesn't roll by the contact patch between the wheel and the asphalt. IT DOES BY YOUR HEAD, which develops a total unreallistic handling, making impossible to follow the correct path through bends an even to open to the limit in the straight to turn right after braking CAUSE YOU'RE GONNA END UP RIDING OVER GRASS. Such a waste of game... Honestly, it's a shame, cause models, lighting, sounds, locations... Are truly a piece of art.

    I almost feel sorry for the game. Its physics are too good for its own good. So many butt hurt arcade riders out there claiming the pHySiCs have gone backwards since R3. Anything but physics.

      I think it’s more new players who have no experience in the franchise are struggling and are finding the game isn’t very accessible for new players

      I love the physics. I hate the AI, they have definitely gone backwards.

      @@ROBO46 Sure but there also are people on Steam saying R3 physics were better. This must be peoples the most disliked game on Steam(62% rating ) I really enjoy 😂

      @@ROBO46 This is my first time playing any of the ride series. Only been playing bike games for a couple months now. I play on advanced physics, at 80% difficulty. Gradually increasing as I go. These tips are great so thanks 👍 Also for any other new players watching, I found watching robos throttle/brake bars at the side of the screen to get my braking and cornering better and which gears to be in for corners. That itself helped me massively at the start of playing the game! Tbh cant learn from anyone better 😂😂

    Why do players like you who are obviously good at this game take it that everyone is in your league.
    I think your just showing us how good you are.
    Basically I want easy to mean easy
    Show us how to play in easy mode including set up for each bike on each track.
    What you are showing is useless
