- Welp, I decided to upload one more from the Cake EP. This time it's an Octavia song. It's about someone who loves her very much, but lost her to fame...

Vinyl maybe, I don't really know... xD I designed the song, as I do with most of my songs, to be open for interpretation. If songs are too specific, they simply aren't as meaningful and can't express the emotion I write them to.
Also, it's fun to watch people debate in the comments over who the song is about. Let the shipping wars begin! xD

I love how your music can can sometimes make me either want to cry (in a good way) and other times inspire me or make me feel relaxed. There's always the feeling that you don't do it just for attention itself or for money as much as you just want to create something beautiful (and if that was the goal, you have done incredibly)
Haha thanks, but I do more originals than anything... xD When I do a remix I usually use the original vocals. So if it has my voice, I probably wrote it.
I found this song very touching and heartfelt. I think this applies to a lot of musicians when the become popular, not just Octavia. Keep up the the great work Aviator, you totally rock. Whoo hoo.
The music surrounds me, and I think you. This is a blessing and a gift you have given me. Hearing Octavia's name screamed with such emotion sends a chill, and wants me to weep along with the composer of the lullaby, and join in the chorus.

Its very hard to make me cry, seriously, it is. And yet you somehow always manage to make me do so with your songs, weather its from sadness, or just the pure awesomeness of your songs, nice work.
there are not many songs that can deeply affect me like this one, another is flower f the season, i think its something about your voice; it has such an almost mourning quality about it, it chills me to the bone, and yet unfailingly makes me desire more, keep up the great work!

I don't really know. It's definitely a counterpart of "Home", with a similar message. It began as a song about Derpy, but as the song came along all I could think about was my headcanon of Octavia giving up her life for fame. I began to wonder what that would feel like, and what it would feel like to know someone who gave everything for fame and fortune... I just let my imagination fly, and before I knew it, the words hit the page.

I've never listened to a song that touched me like this, that made my eyes wet when it starts and make me burst out crying when he starts singing, never. This is the song I'll remember for the rest of my life.
