Thank you for the very colourful demo. My OCD will never let me enjoy this process. Way too messy. I would be distracted by the mess. And wanting to clean everything. Your ink stained fingers drove me crazy! LOL 🤪 TFS,Heather
The main sprays I have are the original Dylusions & some of the old Heidi Swapp Color Shine sprays. I don't use them all that often, but whenever I do, I wonder why I don't! LOL I think the Color Shine are more for a shimmer, since even the ones with colors aren't all that saturated, especially compared with the Dylusions. Anyway.... Thank you for this demonstration, Elisa! I loved seeing how inky your fingers got. Inky fingers are a sign of a good day's work, imo! LOL Take care, & have an awesome day! :)
I can’t choose just one kind. I have all of these plus a few of the Nuvo Mica Mists and Heidi Swapp colorshine. I have been pleasantly surprised with the DWM Gloss Sprays though. I’m having a blast with those and have already replaced a few colors! Thanks for the comparison and may God bless you immensely! ~Anna
Thank you for the fascinating demonstration with these products. I enjoyed seeing it, but won't ever be able to use them myself. I'm asthmatic with too many allergies, but I do paint with water based acrylics. The fact that they aren't sprayed on is an advantage to my grumpy lungs. I very much appreciate being able to safely see how these sprays are used, it was really fun for me, many thanks for this. I hope you and all of your family members stay healthy & sane!
Dylusion sprays are so pigmented I usually lightly mist my page with water so I don't get that area of intense color in the middle---I cannot tell you how much I loved seeing you mopping up with a stencil in place...my gosh what a great idea. I also had to laugh when I saw how inked up your fingers were because mine get the same way. Long time user of Holtz products though I still favor his regular inks over the oxides...I tend to not use the oxides much, but do like the look of them over his regular inks. You do such a wonderful job of sharing ideas and I have been happy to see you subscriber numbers soar!!
You are so sweet! Glad to hear I'm not the only one who loves playing with sprays. The one thing I forget is to take the stencil and then press it onto another page while it is wet!
Thank you so much for demonstrating how each of the sprays work together and with other kinds of sprays. I have a few of all different kinds of sprays but always been afraid of not knowing how to use them properly. TFS stay safe xx
The Dylusions are the only sprays I have, but I have Glimmer Mist, Perfect Pearls sprays and some Art Anthology sprays. Been wanting the Dina sprays and now I would like to try the oxides, too....
Love the creative way you use the sprays. I have all but the dylusions spray paint. I lean toward the shimmer sprays. I also have a few of the Nuvo Mica Mist and the Lindy's Starburst spray. Use them on cardstock and watercolor paper to make backgrounds for cards.
This was just what I've been looking for!!! I'm so overwhelmed with all the choices out there! Thank you for this tutorial!!!
I'm so glad!

I have never used the Heidi Shine, and now they don't make them anymore 😭

I definitely want to get a few more colors of the DWM sprays. I am still learning and playing with them, but they are fun!

Glad it was helpful!
I've never used these kinds of sprays, but you have really inspired me to give them a try!

Sounds great!
Great demo! Thank you. I really love the new gloss sprays.
Me too!!
These look so fun! Thank you for sharing!! :))
You are so welcome!
I was also goingto ask you if you had ever used dina Wakely gesso
I have not used the Dina Wakley Gesso - Lately, I've been loving the Art Basics brand.
oh, I wanted to ask if you have used gel plates yet?
Not yet! They are on my wish list!
Where can I buy those stencils!
Check out scrapbook.com for a really nice array of stencils! I also like The Crafter's Workshop!
Do you make your own stencils or buy them?
I buy them! But, I just received a Cricut, so I may just be making them soon!
Reading all the other comments. Inky fingers would be a good Instagram name. 😉. Enjoy your videos so much!🌹🌹
Haha, it totally would!
Can these sprays be cleaned with just water?
On my desk, I generally use a magic eraser to clean them. They definitely stain fingers and clothes!
What kind of paper is this???
I think this one is watercolor paper...
⚾️ interesting
👍🏻
I thought they were alcohol sprays?
Nope, Acrylic!
