Great to know you are in touch with them. I'm sure there is a high demand for international versions of the pure e-ink smartphones (A5, A5C, ...) as well!

would you happen to know if the e-ink side of this device is the same as that of the A5 {question-mark} or does the e-ink side of the a6l have a dark screen that emits glare {comma} like that of the A5 pro CC {question-mark}

Too bad the Ink screen reflects. means it can't be used in direct sun? If you put an opaque protective film would it, improve?
Indeed in direct sunlight it's not great, you need to move the phone to avoid reflection. Though the text is very clear whereas on yotaphone2 for instance it was kind of blurred.
Yes an opaque film is probably the best option
just use a matte screen for iphone 12 pro +

Does this phone have FM tuner?
What about this LTPS screen, I probably would prefer AMOLED back (in relation to Hisense A6 - I had A2 Pro and Amoled was great)?

You talk about international version. What about international version with Android 10?
For NFC and FM tuner I don't know as I never use them. Can you tell me how I can check if they are included?
For the LCD in my opinion it's very good. Sure when I put my yotaphones side by side in the dark the black are more black on the amoled. But in real use I never really missed the AMOLED.
The question you need to ask is what model modem does the internal circuit board use? If it uses a modem that can be activated for tuning FM frequencies, then you can use it to receive FM radio. I use the NextRadio app on the Samsung Galaxy note 9 but my Hisense A5 pro CC's radio modem chip is "locked" by Hisense. Cell phone companies do this to consumers so you will use more bandwidth, they probably get a kickback from the cell phone company for doing this.
The A5 pro CC has NFC and it does work with my blood glucose monitor

Yes the LCD is off when Eink is used.

From where did you purchase ? I would like buy this in UK ..
I bought it in China. Currently it's sold only there and few online stores. I think on aliexpress it should be available.

@@kepazino Hisense installed it for me to check it as I'm in discussion with them about OneDevice project. Though currently it's not working that well as it does not integrate perfectly in Hisense chinese firmware. As I said if we get enough people interested we'll be able to launch an international version.
