After u finish reacting to part 2, u should check out the videos: We Need a Resolution, Rock the Boat, & More than a Woman🔥 Aaliyah initially wanted Loose Rap to be the 1st single. It was the 1st song recorded for the album in 1999 if we're not counting ICare4U. ICare4U was originally recorded in 1996 for her 2nd album but they recorded it too late & saved it for her 2001 album.
Hey man appreciate you taken time to react to a legend and a legendary album. She is truly missed.... still. Ok, before this album even was released so many was still hung up on the sound and music shift that was the classic album ONE IN A MILLION which was hard to follow you know. Now Aaliyah was that artist and individual that believed in taking risks and so when this album dropped after the futuristic and iconic WE NEED A RESOLUTION it was a slow burner but man when i got it finally i was blown away. It represented growth, maturity and even more risk taking in a year that so many played it safe at times. She was like she always was basically doing her own "thang". When her life on earth ended it hurt like hell bro i promise you and still does yet with this album u here the influence in music still yet still nothing truly tops it in my personal opinion. I always wonder all the accomplishments she would've added to her already iconic career up unto that point in her life in 2001. Rest in peace LIYAH😢😮❤
Hey try listening to this Jamaican Superstar second Album , Her Name is Shenseea. You going to be surprised . Album drop about two months, probably going to win Grammy in Reggae category.
“There would be no Beyoncé if Aaliyah was still alive”???? Sometimes I think y’all just say stuff to hear yourself talk. Beyoncé was doing just fine while Aaliyah was still alive, so I don’t see what would have stopped her from going solo and bringing the perfection she’s been bringing us since. Especially when you consider that while Aaliyah was alive everybody was already saying Beyoncé should go solo. You’re basically saying Beyoncé wouldn’t have been as talented or as driven or hardworking or a bold experimentalist or as much of a perfectionist as she is and has always been if Aaliyah was alive. That makes zero sense. She possessed those attributes when Aaliyah was alive and she’s the queen bc of those attributes and the level of art and entertainment she brings, not bc Aaliyah is no longer here. Y’all gotta stop it.
@@monterriostevenson561 Like I said Bey is where she is bc she’s super talented, super determined, a perfectionist, and pushes herself to keep getting better/grow. All qualities she possessed before Aaliyah passed. To suggest she out of nowhere suddenly began to possess those qualities only after Aaliyah passed is ludicrous.
Aaliyah was an Amazing artist, miss her. When this album came out I wore it out & it still sounds great today.
She was so talented and unique like Sade who was one of her favorite artist!

Aaliyah and timbaland is one on the best collab in music history
I love this album so muchhh!!!!
If Aaliyah lived we would have got more Destiny's Child for sure.
LOOSE RAP is my favorite track on the album. Whole album is a no-skip album though.
We lost 2Pac, Biggie, Kurt Cobain, Selena, Aaliyah, Left Eye, Big L and so many others in the 90’s.
She died in 2001
Aaliyah nor Left Eye died in the 90s. They died in the 2000s.
RIP “Babygirl” 💔🌷🦋

Yeah in a group, Aaliyah started out by herself, a huge difference
