"... back of his head" "You're so stupid...and I really mean that" Now THAT is great commentary. There were a few other golden nuggets, too. These two clowns crack me up.
These announcers ragging on how Deuel is breaking is getting to me. You think, just maybe, he's 2nd ball breaking to leave clusters... on purpose? Because he thinks he has the advantage on a crowded table? Not many people on this planet know more than Corey about breaking, maybe just shut up and pay a bit of attention.
9 ball is a massive shame on, and destroyer of the great game. .....good luck with ur olympics sellouts.,,,,like that gonna progress, or even repair the game and elevate it bwahahahahah..,,,ffs y'all need to take notes on skateboarding.,.,,
@42:50 it's great to watch Corey come up with creative shots. At 42:58 Corey looks down at the stripes on the rail and sees how he can remove the 11 and get down to address the other balls. A shot very few players would see (including myself). Most would go for the 12 after the 11. Requires a little bottom left to change both the rebound angle and the contact point on the rail.
Can someone please explain to me what all the fuss was about in game 13? Duel didn't get a jump cue; he changed his shaft. How is that so terrible when Bill & Danny spent the first few racks talking about how much better Morris was playing because he'd changed his shaft?
Jump cues were not allowed. In addition to that, you could only jump balls with your playing cue. Changing the shaft with a phenolic tip would make it easier to jump balls.
@@AccuStats I seriously appreciate your channel and what you've done for the sport for years. However, I think you may not have read my post in its entirety, so I'll try another way. Why was it considered a smart move for Morris to change his shaft but forbidden for Duel to do the same?
Correct, it met the length requirement but him changing the shaft would’ve made it a foul cause I believe the rule is you have to jump with the cue you started the match with. Switching shafts from a play shaft to what was most likely a break shaft with a harder tip would’ve been a foul.
After every shot..."he's in trouble! What I'd do here is...blah blah blah" and once again wrong! Bill and Dan on the same commentary is more of a nuisance than good match commentary. Rather than predicting everything, how about quietly watching them play like the rest of us and then add RELEVANT information after a chosen shot or runout pattern? How about that? WOW!!! It gets really old hearing wrong predictions (mostly) over and over again. It's just noise. Back in those days they had no idea what professional commentating meant. Corey played fantastically and several (I think the majority) were complicated runouts requiring non-trivial problem solving! Great to watch and learn from!!!!
“No Billy I’d rather them think your an IDIOT”gotta love these guys
Corey DEUEL vs Rodney MORRIS - EXCELLENT
This is going to be good, Thanks for putting it up.
You bet

Someone told me Rodney Morris hit a break shot so hard one time, the top off the one ball came off.OMG-Ron Cerelli The Legend
Deuel one the best 8 ball players all time, I’ve never seen him lose a match of 8 ball, beat SVB pretty bad too
Lmao Billy and Danny are worse than two brothers in that booth! 😆

Huh? Why would he not shoot the 11 right then and there? It's very obscured and he had shape for it already

Did Morris change his shaft to jump a ball?
A note to Mr deliver to: incardona looks more like a pug than a Boston bull terrier
what made Corey's cue a jump cue? It looked long enough to meet the min cue length requirement.
Correct, it met the length requirement but him changing the shaft would’ve made it a foul cause I believe the rule is you have to jump with the cue you started the match with. Switching shafts from a play shaft to what was most likely a break shaft with a harder tip would’ve been a foul.
Are these standard 8 ball rules? 2 balls of a category pocketed on the break means the player must stick to that category?
There are no standard rules in 8-Ball.
He should just roll this in LOL Corey new best
First break is a 4:50
These commentators are the worst you would think this was their first time seeing a pool game

Corey beats everybody! 🤔
This desperately needs Jeremy Jones commentating
@@wombra8314 Dude are you 10?
Jeremy jones is the worst so boring can put you to sleep no personality at all even though he’s knowledgeable
This old guy just does not know how a conversation works let alone commentating to an audience
So terrible!
