Rodney is a great player and a very relaxed person. He plays pool very well balanced and doesn't spent 3 min per shot. I once saw a match, many years ago, I can't find it on youtube with a spectacular comeback: the opponent had 8-1 and he comeback to beat him with 9-8. Couldn't find that match

I think the commentators are talking about the Tate family. Interesting that they started out complaining about the changing ball colors, and Joey goes on to make that horrible mistake vs SVB at the US Open.

I feel like the colors are similar to the non tv set balls with the exception of the 7 and 15 balls. Like green is 6 and 14, the tv set still has the lime green as 6 and 14. its mostly just the brown, or maroon, balls that have been changed to that lighter blue color.

Just add 8 to a the solid ball(s) and that ball will be the same color.

Exactly, regardless of what company is making the balls they will never go away from the +8 system. With 7 colored pairs seperated by +8 and the 8 ball.

What happened to Dechaine? He seems to have vanished off the face of the pool map these days. He was a good player, but his mental game was weak, and he was subject to falling apart if things got a little dicey, or he lost a lead, and he lacked some of the subtle shots and imagination of the very best players in the world, but the guy could play.

Cue ball should just die at the 8 on that shot. He hit it way too hard, and should have played a lot further up the second rail. I assume he was playing 2 rails, hard to tell.
