WOW! I think I could smell that chimichurri all the way here in Jersey! Looked absolutely so vibrant and fresh. The steak looked so juicy and flavorful. Excellent cook as always! Be well 🌞👏
100% with you on that. I have replicated many of their dishes. Both of them have taught me a lot about cooking. I am more into cooking than I ever would have imagined since getting a Blackstone and watching these 2 guys. I will say my first meals I made were Hussey recipes I credit him for my interest in cooking and getting into Blackstone.
I'm trying to get my 36" cook top level... The griddle is on the back deck and obviously not level. The liquids run to the front of the griddle. So, when I cook bacon all the grease runs to the front. How can i get it level so that I don't continue to have this issue please? Also, Hussey, I continue to watch your older youtube videos.. I watched the Thanksgiving Dinner video last night.. Loved it. Well, that's a given.. I love all your recipes and enjoy watching your descriptions of the recipes. You're the BOMB!!!!!!
@@johnbenker8736 I have seen people put washers between the griddle feet and frame. I wouldn’t recommend that. Doing that increases the distance from the flame to griddle top. You will have loss of heat. I would try to shim the wheels or back feet of the frame. It won’t take a lot. A scrap piece of plastic would probably raise it enough. Look at your big box hardware stores. Maybe a thin piece of pvc trim would work.
Wow! Perfect timing. just got me a pit boss 1150 pro series and we love it! Hope you do a lot more videos with the pellet smoker! I added a smoke tube yesterday to it for my pork Boston butt and it was delicious! Plenty of smoke flavor with the tube added. I got 5 hours of added smoke from it.

Looks so good as always..well now you made me hungry..I guess only thing n my refg n beef line is beef bologna n cheese lol sandwich time..maybe Steak tomorrow. You make it look so easy. From Judy
@hungryhussey I looked on your Amazon list. I don’t see the meat hook you are using in this video. Almost all of the things I am seeing on Amazon are for large cuts of meat. Any recommendations and direction would be appreciated.
I hear ya about the washers I’ve heard of ppl doing that, but then, depending on thickness, how many do you use? What makes sense? Since I move the griddle from next to the house to put onto the deck more when cooking, not sure of putting something under the wheels would work as I’d have to move the pvc all the time and as you know it’s HEAVY!!
If you have 4 swivel casters you could take the rear ones off and add a couple washers to them and reinstall. If you don’t have 4 casters then you are going to have to get creative.
Hey H²! I don't think I've ever had chimichurri sauce. Cebollas asadas es muy deliciosa! We'll have to try that this weekend. I bet it would be great with chicken too! Take car e Huss. Regards to the family. Kathi
thanks for telling us the temp you cooked at for how long... hey guys turn it up to high and go one minute on each side... oh yeah that been close to a minute... i think...
Tasty looking chimi there, buddy. I'd love to sink my teeth into one of those steaks, boy! Thanks for sharing your recipe. And particularly nice video shots for this one. I liked the angles you used for showing the food prep. Well done, my friend! Have a great weekend!! P.S. How do you like those Grill Grates? Have you had them for a while? I've been thinking about purchasing a set for my Weber kettle. I'd love to get an opinion from the Master himself. 👨🍳
Z Grills just refuses to answer my emails these days. LOL..... I want one of their grills. Anyways Baby Girl, Very epic looking steaks. Chimichurri is always amazing. Great job.
Oh Matthew! That steak looked juicy! At 0:19, you used a new term that is quite accurate: Yummo!! Good to see Maggie get a little treat. Do you let the steak rest before you cut into it?
So I guess you were dissed for giving Maggie some onion. I posted a pic of my cat watching me peeling onions, and I got dissed too. Oh the empowerment of the internet. I'm going to try your chimichurri but with parsley. Keep up the good work my friend, and God Bless.
Am I tho only one who doesn't want to taste a bunch of veggies covering up my beef? I've made steaks with butter, rosemary, thyme, and garlic.. Great steaks... But when I eat steak I don't want anything but a nice salt and pepper char and I want that beautiful beef flavor to be the only thing I'm tasting
You could, but I don't typically care to as I like the larger chunks. To each their own for sure. I also didn't feel like cleaning a blender either. Haha
How come you didnt wash the dirt off of the green onions...they were still banded together so there still could be dirt. Thousands of people get food poisoning every year and they wonder why
Huh, I saw that. Interesting. Need to see what Thermoworks has to say about that one. I'd still rather have a pen over a pop, just because of the auto features and the length. I have pops too, and love them.
@@thehungryhussey I did not know that. My Boston terrier loves onions, have never seen any negative effects after she ate them but if she does eat them it’s a few small pieces. We don’t give her a lot of them.

You can certainly adjust to your needs. However, those steaks, were a pound or more a piece, which needs salt. Do you cook with kosher salt or iodized ?
Happy to see you back thank you👋
Good to see you Gene!
I really like the idea of the torch char. Great idea! Great recipe! Thanks!

Thank you !
I've yet to make chimichurri. I have no excuse other than being lazy. Gotta give it a try. Looks mighty tasty, Matthew.
We love a good chimichurri... Really sets the flavor.
Use mint leaves as a baster adds another flavor to the chimmi

Thanks my friend. It's a great add to chicken too.
Ok… Got ya…. Will try it.. TY
Thanks !
How do you like the Z Grill? We are wanting to buy a smoker, was looking at Pit Boss but had a lot of bad reviews. We are leaning towards the Z Grill.
I like it and use it often. There's a newer version too with a PID controller.
Oh man, I so want a steak like now. LOL. Now those are steaks. Thanks Hussey for making me hungry. Gotta go eat..... See ya buddy...
Glad you enjoyed it Elmer.
So, if the griddle top pitches to the front, I’d add the washers to the front, no? That way it would be higher in the front, or level now, right?
You want the pitch to go towards the rear or wherever your grease trap is located, but only slightly.

How do you like your new place you moved into
Really enjoy it here a lot.
What is the name of that smoker/grill that you have Cooking those steaks on
That's a Zgrills.
Nice recipe; unfortunately, the wife is allergic to cilantro. What type of grill would you recommend for someone new to grilling?
You can use parsley.
A pellet grill is pretty cool as it can do a lot and not require a lot of baby sitting.
This dude done BLOW TORCHED his steak!!! God Bless America!!!😅
Optional, but if you really want to render the fat well, I’d do it.
Anyway you could do a delmonico steak video?
Those are tough to find. Not many butchers carry that cut typically.
Oh Matthew!
That steak looked juicy! At 0:19, you used a new term that is quite accurate: Yummo!!
Good to see Maggie get a little treat.
Do you let the steak rest before you cut into it?
Hi Dan. Yes, I did, just didn't show that really, with the magic of video. Haha.
Had a steak last night but don’t think it was as good as yours were. Grill on brother.
You're too kind friend.

There’s too many variables bud. You cook to the temp. The time will vary. I’m pretty sure I said cooked to medium rare.
U lost me at pellet cooking bro sucks
I bet you’d eat that up if I put it in front of you. Pellet cooking isn’t bad really.
