If you watch some of the videos here on prime aged cuts of meat being frozen, it doesn't affect the meat at all. Often it is the texture that changes if anything and argued that freezing tenderises meats.
By the time it's been ground down and mixed into a patty I fail to see how you would notice the difference, and it'll likely be a lot fresher than your "fresh" meat.
but a 20 pack of frozen burgers for £1 barely contains any meat and all the shit bits at that. What do you expect? I've had "fresh" burgers from a local butchers and I've had a quality frozen angus beef burgers from the super market. The latter cost more and tasted better.
Better than "fresh" mince meat which is actually dyed bright RED to make it look fresher. Its more a matter of convience (frozen needing thawing).
Then compare it to McDonalds who were even taking meat not even safe for consumtion by animals in pet food, being washed by harsh chemicals, barely making it "humanly edible" and cooking that up for you. And I bet that is your benchmark for "taste".

Many People dont understand that individuals dont just wake up and be like "u know, ima jus start shooting heroine". No. Life woulda had to push you far beyond the limit you thought you had. Life made them crazy in a way where suicide isnt the first option but theyve been beaten senseless emtionally, mentally, maybe even physically.

@@nkb9876 That's called refrigerated. A proper freezer runs at close to 0 degrees (around 0 to -15). Properly refrigerated food is closer to mid 30s. You see, food has what we call a "temperature danger zone" in which bacteria multiplies. You can freeze or refrigerate food at a proper temperature to keep that from happening.
And there is a considerable difference between frozen and refrigerated food. And not just the 30 odd degree temperature difference. Wendy's goes with the refrigeration route. A lot of other places use the frozen route because the frozen patties will keep much longer without spoiling. Hence the whole idea of fresh burgers never being frozen.

If you've ever watched an episode of HH/KN where Gordon mentions his brother, you can see the real pain and anguish when we talks about it. You can tell he feels more than just a disrespect for the way the owners run their kitchen with their frozen food and what constitutes freshness, but the fact the owners also gave up on their son and fired him when he was struggling, it hurts Gordon even more than a poorly run kitchen.
Honey Pig I think I vaguely remember a reference in the past, but you hit the nail on the head with Chef Ramsay’s anguish when mentioning his brother’s struggles. As somebody who has been on the receiving end of that look, that gaze absolutely means that: he anguished over the pain his brother feels, he wants the world for his brother, and he puts family over everything in his life. Every episode, people comment on what a guy Gordon is; but seeing him care for his family like this, Gordon Ramsay has the sweetest heart and wants everybody to truly excel in life. He is an astounding man.

No worries. I've seen a lot of Ramsay over my time but small clips like this are usually what I'm talking about. The most times he mentions his brother is on his 'Behind Bars' program, as he's trying to relate to them. I think it's pretty painful for Gordon to bring up, so you won't find many clips (but I'd love to be proven wrong!)
