- The Classic intro scene from Sonic Adventure 2 remade from scratch, just in time for the anniversary of the game. This one took a while because of every day struggles of life, but hopefully you enjoy this little short! ~KAL

Please make this into an actual series. This is hitting me close to home with the nostalgic feels.
Kind of wished the original audio and voice actors dialogue was used for this like the SA1 recreation. Still pretty good though. Love your scene recreations for the Sonic games!

The audio is so muddy and poorly mixed in the original game tho lol

And by the way I would like to see the video again, but without the "Attention" screen, The "Channel Federation Network" logo, and Virtual fire productions all from the beginning, the credits and your channel logo at the end, and with original voices from the original game, but you can keep two dubbed lines:
"Insect 3, we have containment briefs in the holding area! All personnel is out!"

Remember animation when Sega made Sonic Adventure 2 was in low quality. if Sega do remake maybe animaton will look different.

Sonic DOES spin in the original cutscene. Except, he's spinning to his left (or was it right) and not flipping like here.
Mike Strong Sonic is not an actual person. He's a cheesy hedgehog who can go supersonic speeds. Trying to ground him based on logic like that would be very silly.
The thing about animation is that, while you do need a sense of weight and physics, you still have the freedom to go beyond what we humans can. A cartoon hedgehog is no exception.

Better than all the Fnaf animations. Ugh... the SFM workshop is flooded with them.
This is pretty cool! My only criticism is that the city shots look more like New York or Chicago when Sonic is definitely in a city that looks close to San Francisco which Sega likes to pull reference from even in Crazy Taxi.
Yeah I know, many have pointed it out already. I didn’t have anything that resembled San Francisco at the time and the shot was pretty difficult to pull off as far as depth. I’ll take it into account 😉

This was such a great classic start to a gan. Jumping out of the helicopter with no parachute, followed by "YEAAAAH". Really shows that Sonic is a fun guy who DGAF.

It was just about perfect, with the extended content with GUN and all, up until Sonic had to fall. No flair to it at all. Not only does he not even jump down with style, or smile at the camera long enough, but he doesn't fall with the upside down spin. If this were replicating a 2D animation, there's some limits to acknowledge, but the original was 3D.
It really felt like you liked the GUN stuff, and then got really tired at the point where Sonic had to be involved, which, knowing from experience how long animation takes, is understandable.

I like the sonic's model. It looks younger than modern sonic, and older than classic sonic, so it's basically the in between, which is dreamcast sonic.

VERY nice! The establishing shot and almost anything with Sonic was fantastic. Two things I would alter,though I know one is a big change. First, switch Sonic's tumble at the end back to a spin. The other thing is to give us more of the break-out: rock the chopper, show more action in the cargo area that kind of thing.

I was always confused about how GUN, a Western founded faction based on America, got ahold of that Soviet-made Mi-24 Hind but I guess some nations that joined the organization supplied the gunship.
I think that in this universe, the United Federation was among only the few world-human military superpowers that were formed. The only other powers for example include the Robotnik Empire, the Kingdom Of Acorn, and the Sovereign State Of Soleanna (though they share a level of military sovereignty with GUN). Simply put, a human nation similar to the Soviet Union never really existed in Sonic’s world, therefore they are just all of Earth’s nations combined into one but more Democratic-like.
Nice Short. Some things need to improve or change such as Sonic doesn't spin vertically when falling just spin horizontal. Sonic usually smirked as he fall with skateboard.
saifuddin jamil Thanks for the feedback! I changed the spin since the helicopter blade was already spinning in that direction to give it some differentiation. Sonic does smirk but it may be as quick as his speed 😉

They seriously need to remake these games. I have a feeling if they did, fans would appreciate the Adventure style and ask for it to come back which would make Sonic games way better in my opinion
