If I was a sixers player I would be an A because just think how good is Jared for guarding and a new center for Joel if he gets hurt again just like he did last time

People are obsessing about Knecht. He made his name in a weak SEC conference with Kentucky having a down year. Compare that to McCain, playing in the ACC, in the pressure cooker at Duke.
There is no need to throw shade . Knecht did what he did . He cant pick the opponents or the conference . Remember luka came from a European league where he averaged less then 18 points a game . Trey young was considered as an equal or potentially better talent . If you can play ,you can play . The sixers took Jared McCain because of his talent ,age ,and potential in the long run . His comparison is spot on to brunson in New York . Height ,wieght ,reach ,game , appears to be clones . I believe either would've been a great pick for the sixers . These two players are among the very best you couldve picked amongst a draft without any obvious super star identified talent .
@@RobertAlston-lj3otluka avged that as a 17 yr old in a grown mans league that scores less than nba teams in their games so players avg less. But i get what youre saying

I hope they can get some playing time immediately!
Nurse had Lowry and van fleet with a side order of extremely long, lengthy, athletic wings! The sixers as of here and now, have zero wings.
But we have the best big in the league. I understand that this has become a wing driven league but we are built different and I love Nick Nurse as the leader of this group.
We have PG now and Oubre and Justin Edwards is a good pickup, we need a starting PF tho and another wing for depth and we will be fine, with Ricky Council playing some SF minutes too off the bench
76ers MUST hit home runs with free agent signings or the team will be in BIG TROUBLE next season

Dalton knecht would have definitely been a better player for this team

Bona= young Kai Jones
I'm not sold on either player but as rookies go it's a hit or miss. Grade is a b until we see what other moves can be made
I would have given them a B+ before adding Justin Edwards. Now I'd say A-. I like both McCain and Bona, but adding a short shooting guard next to Maxey doesn't blow my socks off and Bona might be a solid back-up center, but, again, a backup isn't going to move the needle much. Edwards, however, as raw as he is, brings size and athleticism precisely where we lack it. What I don't like is that his confidence, apparantly, took a dive once he reached Kentucky. Gee, another Sixer with head problems, a la Fultz and Simmons?

C+ with potential it a B-
C-. McCain is a backup on this team. If this was prime Ben Simmons PG, McCain would be fine, probably start. Not with Maxey. Bona is a full on project and has zero game away from the rim, isn’t a good rebounder, and they should have targeted someone like Post who is a literal sniper at 7-1. Knecht or da Silva was the correct pick for THIS team. I don’t dislike McCain but this fit? Their best move was Justin Edward’s tbh.
