I have this very watch in the same colour. It is excellent value for money. It does fit well on my 7 inch wrist and no issue at all with any bracelet articulation. No problems either with legibility as the colour choice pops on the dial. I would agree with everything said in this review. The bracelet edges on mine do have a few sharp edges which S&S need to sort out in going forward. Overall, after the IX&DAO version that costs around £200, the S&S version is the best bang for buck by a long way in my view. Other brands are using quartz movements - not mechanical.
As a slim wrister myself, I really appreciate your reviews showing the watches on a 6.25 inch wrist. I think the flat profile and limited articulation of the links makes it look out of proportion on the smaller wrist but fine on the 7 inch.
i love iwc ingenieur for their aqua green blue dial the most , the other designs of IWC ingeneiur 40 to me are secondary. this is their most attractive feature for their unique dial , the squares and lines are easy to replicate by homages but this homage replicates the green blue dial the best in this exact variant closest to IWC! hence i am seriously considering this option you featuring here! thanks! most homages replicates the dial to become more Bluish and almost non green, especially when view indoors!, this variant retains alot of the green tone still....and still offers ice blue variant for others unlike me who prefers blue ! what a great smart options !
Thanks for reviewing 👍 I've seen this brand recently, and was intrigued. The bogus germanic name and low price made me assume the worst, but it looks like I was wrong.
I have two from Specht & Sohen ... not all pieces from them are good/great but there are some lovely good value options from them - this is one of them.
my ixdao engineer stopped working. have to ship back to ixdao on my own dime. probably around 50 bucks. to repair. would proably not have bought it at all in the first place.
Just be aware that when sizing the bracelet this uses split pins ... my first time doing one so was a bit fiddly. Not as bad as my Thorn BB homage with rivets (I am putting that off/procrastinating and cringing about doing that bracelet) but still fiddly.
Ive seen two friends buy this watch:one loves everything about it for the price while my other friend says its useless in every way, so ? Did he get a bad one ? Me personally even with the cheap price am not going to bet a fifty fifty that ill get a good one ..
Don't feel good about Miyota 8215, a 1979-vintage movement which although upgraded, is fundamentally outdated in its design. They should have used Seiko's movements.
I bought this watch after watching this video. I have to say I'm a pretty disappointed. Overall I think the quality if fairly poor. For me the watch is too small. But my main issue is the bracelet. It is not good quality and the tapers too narrow. I wasn't able to size the bracelet to get a good fit. I regret buying it.
The bracelet of this Ingenieur is so poorly engineered. I bought this same watch. It looks beautiful out of the box. It is accurate to 2 seconds per day. But the bracelet is a nightmare to resize. The bracelet is so rigid and not articulated that would fit fine on a salami, but on my 7 inch wrist I need to have it loose. Otherwise it fills like a tight handcuff on the size of my wrist. It probably fits fine on a very round wrist. The bracelet edges are so sharp I used a dremel tool to sand them down. Some pins got stuck and got bent pulling them out with pliers and a couple of pins split putting them back in. There are no markings/arrows that suggest the pins come out one way only. Probably several of the pin holes are unfinished and cause friction when pulling out the pins. It was so hard to resize, compared to the Citizen, Seestern, Addiesdive, Seiko bracelets I have resized in the past. The bracelet would look better with less taper. I wish this had regular 20mm lugs, or that the manufacturer would offer a rubber band for other options. The case could be one or 2 mm shorter, with the edges closer to the bezel. I like the dial a lot, the second hand counterbalance does not bother me as I thought from macro shots in reviews. I have the seestern 600T and the Citizen tsuyosa that have similar case and bracelet style. Their steel bands are so much more comfortable and easier to resize. Overall I like the watch. But I would like to have a band alternative. 20mm lugs would have allowed more options. For $66 usd is a nice watch. Gotta wear it a bit loose.

Thank you for sharing! 🙂👍
£14k IWC v £70 SS? Amazed at the finishing, case, dial, hands. Overall beautifully executed.

I've seen this watch, but didn't give it much thought. This is much nicer looking than expected! Definitely one to consider. Thanks for the review!
Yup I got this one too and am very happy with it for the price.

Bracelet reminds also nautilus. Beautiful watch.

Looks great, really like the brushing on the case and bezel and how slim the case is/how shallow the dial sits.
I liked the visual of the dimensions on the video, great job on said watch.
this is special, i'm not a fan of homage but this is hard to resist, and i just ordered a seiko cocktAil ....give me strength...
Lol 🙂
Which Cocktail did you get?
The battle between the xdao and this one would be epical

Kötü olmuş hocam. Ne yaptınız peki@@AhmetAtalayOfficial
Between this.and.the xdao which one would you choose? Thanks
Good find , great value.
Love this watch if you are watching this video and contemplating buying it. Just do it you wont be disappointed.
Brilliant really detailed review.
Great channel. Many thanks, I’ve subscribed 🎉
Great review. thank you for your time 👍🏻 i can't decide on a colour though.
Have you thought about checking out Specht and sohne santos homage?
Possibly in a near future. Too many watches too little time 🙂

Looks great
A good looking watch but I would want to wear it on a leather strap which, unfortunately, does not seem possible. Thanks for an informative video.
Thanks for watching!
Is there chance for the review of the Spechy & Sohne that looks quite like A Lange Odysseus ?
Interesting. Subscribed!
Lume is ok watch charge doesnt hold for very long. Im getting about 18 hours max ... Does anyone get more ?? Myota movement ..... But lovely watch 🎉

Sadly they changed the dial and you can't but that design anymore...
I hope they will improve that bracelet to have more articulation.

6:28 - VERY GOOD QC - YOU CAN SEE A WHITE THREAD AT THE CENTER OF THE DIAL
DAMN!!!!!!!!!!
I'm becoming a bit jaded with so many homages. Then again at least is not another boring Rolex homage.
Nice looking, but that watch does not fit your wrist imo.
Very disapointing they have only 50m WR, and not very sure if it´s real, if they had 100m WR I would really consider, I love the white dial one
this or ipose ixdao engineer????
Is this considered homage or a copy... I don't know the boundaries now...

Woodpecker & Sons in English. Quite funny.
Lol! Not as bad as 'Reef Tiger' though - another AliExpress brand with "Swiss" roots 🙂
This dial is better than the 600$ VSF rep dial 🤣🤣

Like balancing a pie plate on my wrist. Not for me.
Lol 🙂
Nice but at the same time digusted, how does a business stand just coping others
Lug to Lug including bracelet is not acceptable
Remember he was measuring the outside of the bracelet, the actual fit inside will be minus 2 x the thickness of the bracelet links.
Thanks for the video. The link doesn't work by they way.
I hope they will improve that bracelet to have more articulation.
