What a great review for an integrated bracelet watch. You’re the only I’ve seen measure the endlink to endlink and the articulation length inside the bracelet for an integrated-style watch. Thank you for the great review! Quick question. What is the finishing of the inner side of the bracelet? I have another watch from the same brand (the Santos de Cartier homage) and the inner edges of the bracelet are very sharp and leave marks on my wrist. I will have to smooth them to make the watch really comfortable.
My pleasure! The inner side of the bracelet is completely brushed the same as on the top, but no polished details. The old PRX models used to have the sharp issue aswell until they fixed them, I experienced that first hand. And compared to the previous PRX issue this is not sharp at all, wearing this one for the past week has been comfortable and I have not experienced any sharpness issues I hope this answers your question, otherwise just reply again and I will try to provide more information, but I also mentioned this in my triple review video, might be interesting to have a look at.

I'm definitely not a fan of this color when translated to real life, but they do have a lot of choices available. It appears to be a good size for even a female wrist, so I think I'm definitely going to order this one (merlot color, though).

Watch looks beyond amazing, i mean i bought the prx one from this brand . The bracelet was very good way better than any other AliExpress brand for that price . Yeah pagani for that price range have everything else better but still i like the watch ⌚

Just received my wine one, bats way above price, you do need an over 7 in wrist and mine did have a dust speck in the middle of the dial so I had to crack it open and remove it, otherwise stunned. Ordering the white/gold AND a light blue corniche.
Hey buddy! :D Really happy to hear that you enjoy it, despite the inconviniences mentioned ofcourse! And cool that you are brave enough to play around with your watches, I love to do that myself. I was also struck with a dust speckle but on the minute hand as shown in the video, however for this watch I havent openend it up, didnt really bother me for this watch since the dial has so much going on covering for small imperfections to not stand out. The bracelet fitting is quite finicky to understand, but if you remove more links, you will see that the bracelet will conform to a smaller wrist, so my point is it will not bend with a higher amount of links still attached to it. I can say this because I got my friend to try it on who has a 5´9 inch wrist, albeit a flat wrist which obviously helps his case, but it only conformed to his wrist when I removed the excess links for his size. However make sure to have atleast a wrist of 50mm in width because no matter how many links you remove that is going to be the smallest it conforms to. Sorry for the long text buddy but I wanted the information out there xD Now enjoy your watch before you order more ones! Just my two cents, watch addiction is real 😂😂😂
Incredible dial texture and design. I honestly like this dial more than the VC and the Maen Manhattan. It is more elegant and subtle yet not as minimalistic as the VC. I found the VC dial hard to read. It definitely borrows from both of those watches but it's different enough that it stands on its own. I am very compelled to get this watch.

Hey buddy, Yes, always get your watches from Aliexpress. You get them directly from the manufacturer. From "their" website I cannot confirm who is running it, it could be some dropshipper who just acts as a middleman. Using Aliexpress also grants you extra safety with their escrow and return system in case something goes wrong with the order
Hello again. I’ve just received mine and wondering how to resize it. Is the bracelet a push pin type or it’s using screws? If it’s push pin, it’s to push the pin out where I see the split end?
Hey buddy and congratulations! It is split pins which means you'd have to use the included tool to push them out. Where you see the split end, that's where it is supposed to exit from, so inject the tool from the non-split end side. @@RIOLOGY hey hey! Thanks! I’ve managed to resize the bracelet though I must say the links (or rather the pins) are its weakest link (pun intended). It’s awfully made and difficult to remove the pins and a few split.
@@lancechan8256 I am sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with them, but yes you are correct, its often the least liked option when it comes to links, but in this pricerange I do prefer them. Because they are easy to replace and if they break they wont be stuck in the bracelet forever. The one time I have had screw-in pins in watches under $250, which in theory is much better, the screws themselves was of a softer metal and the screwheads got mangled up and hard to operate, I managed to "screw" one up (pun intended 😂) and had to unscrew another link instead. Did you get a good fit on your wrist in the end? What's your wristsize 😄
@@RIOLOGY i got it to fit but found it snug on my 6.5 inch wrist. Still deciding if I should add another link as I’m dreading to muck around with the bracelet
@@lancechan8256 Ah damn, I remember resizing split pins for the first time myself, not the best experience xD However you will get the hang of it after a couple of times :P One tip is to buy a "quality" tool for like 3 USD or something like that, cant remember exactly what I paid for it, but it was cheap and DECENT ;)
@@FabioTWK thank you for sharing your opinion! Its thin in relevance to it being automatic and at this price point. 11mm is not a common thinness achieved by the movements used here such as the NH3X or Miyota 8XXX
@@RIOLOGYboth movements have around 9.95 mm minimum case thickness (with solid caseback). All I’m saying is it’s not really a “very thin watch”, 11 mm is just a standard size for automatics, even with the lower grade movements (that obviously aren’t super thin) unless you’re using a very rugged sports watch case (diver etc) with higher water resistance etc..
@@FabioTWK I think you have a point in what you are saying, Im just not used to NH3X watches being this thin or thick, usually Im used to see 13mm on AX But yea, the rear crystal adds some thickness to it, thats true aswell

@@RIOLOGY I gently polish the watch with a cape cod cloth then wash, dry and baby oil my new bracelets. very smooth now, also waterproof as much as I can the watch with silicon grease on the seals and crown stems. Always works great for me so far but I'm not a diver nor do I shower with my watches. Good show friend!

Yes always get your watches from Aliexpress! I cannot confirm if the website is just a dropshipper or not. I got all my Specht & Sohne watches from Aliexpress, great customer support directly from the guy behind the brand through there. Also you have extra safety as Aliexpress uses escrow in case you would have any issues with any order from any brand! However I have developed good trust to S&S as they have fixed my issues willingly and been very helpful

This S&S watch has more similiarities to the unobtainable VC 2215 than the Manhattan. The only design element that this watch has from the Manhattan that is original to Maen is the Cote de Geneve pattern

Because the Manhattans design is for the major part belonging to VC in the first place. Thats why I believe the credit for this design should go to Vacheron. It tapers quite alot as seen in the video, so that statement is not true. It might be stiff for very small and round wrists yes, so make sure to measure the width of your wrist as shown in the video before making your decision on this one. Also there is an option for a rubber strap now

Would be nice if they offered this with a steel caseback and VH31 quartz to make it even thinner and cheaper. I couldn't see myself spending on the real thing even if Vacheron were to reissue this. Nice looking piece.

Yes, always get your watches from Aliexpress. You get them directly from the manufacturer. From "their" website I cannot confirm who is running it, it could be some dropshipper who just acts as a middleman.
Using Aliexpress also grants you extra safety with their escrow and return system in case something goes wrong with the order

Hello again. I’ve just received mine and wondering how to resize it. Is the bracelet a push pin type or it’s using screws? If it’s push pin, it’s to push the pin out where I see the split end?

It is split pins which means you'd have to use the included tool to push them out. Where you see the split end, that's where it is supposed to exit from, so inject the tool from the non-split end side.

@@RIOLOGY hey hey! Thanks! I’ve managed to resize the bracelet though I must say the links (or rather the pins) are its weakest link (pun intended). It’s awfully made and difficult to remove the pins and a few split.
@@lancechan8256 I am sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with them, but yes you are correct, its often the least liked option when it comes to links, but in this pricerange I do prefer them. Because they are easy to replace and if they break they wont be stuck in the bracelet forever. The one time I have had screw-in pins in watches under $250, which in theory is much better, the screws themselves was of a softer metal and the screwheads got mangled up and hard to operate, I managed to "screw" one up (pun intended 😂) and had to unscrew another link instead.

@@lancechan8256 Ah damn, I remember resizing split pins for the first time myself, not the best experience xD However you will get the hang of it after a couple of times :P One tip is to buy a "quality" tool for like 3 USD or something like that, cant remember exactly what I paid for it, but it was cheap and DECENT ;)
11.2 mm isn’t a “very thin watch” by any means. Thin starts under 9 mm, everything above is just a normally thick watch.

Its thin in relevance to it being automatic and at this price point. 11mm is not a common thinness achieved by the movements used here such as the NH3X or Miyota 8XXX
@@RIOLOGYboth movements have around 9.95 mm minimum case thickness (with solid caseback). All I’m saying is it’s not really a “very thin watch”, 11 mm is just a standard size for automatics, even with the lower grade movements (that obviously aren’t super thin) unless you’re using a very rugged sports watch case (diver etc) with higher water resistance etc..

But yea, the rear crystal adds some thickness to it, thats true aswell

@@RIOLOGY I gently polish the watch with a cape cod cloth then wash, dry and baby oil my new bracelets. very smooth now, also waterproof as much as I can the watch with silicon grease on the seals and crown stems. Always works great for me so far but I'm not a diver nor do I shower with my watches. Good show friend!

Yeah I noticed it when someone first mentioned it in a comment. I contacted the AX seller and they compensated me and told me that this was an issue with the first batch and should be solved now

Yes always get your watches from Aliexpress! I cannot confirm if the website is just a dropshipper or not. I got all my Specht & Sohne watches from Aliexpress, great customer support directly from the guy behind the brand through there. Also you have extra safety as Aliexpress uses escrow in case you would have any issues with any order from any brand! However I have developed good trust to S&S as they have fixed my issues willingly and been very helpful

Just to make it clear, the Manhattan is looking like the Vacheron Constantin 2215 Royal Chronometer which is released way back in time.
This S&S watch has more similiarities to the unobtainable VC 2215 than the Manhattan.
The only design element that this watch has from the Manhattan that is original to Maen is the Cote de Geneve pattern
Not that it matters but doesn’t the Cote de Geneve pattern make this look more like the Manhattan than the VC?
@@sage9743 Idk you tell me buddy, ofc its highly subjective, but looking at literally everything else but the dial, its leaning towards the VC. Because the Manhattans design is for the major part belonging to VC in the first place. Thats why I believe the credit for this design should go to Vacheron.
Otherwise, I would argue that, I could make a 1:1 homage of this Specht & Sohne in the future, and then go ahead and give all the credit to S&S and forget about the 2215 and Manhattan.

It tapers quite alot as seen in the video, so that statement is not true.
It might be stiff for very small and round wrists yes, so make sure to measure the width of your wrist as shown in the video before making your decision on this one.
Also there is an option for a rubber strap now
