      Thank you sir, yeah I’ve had a couple and loved my 94.5 it was just ugly as heck but a dam good rig. Would advise to get a manual. All 94.5s have the zf5 (manual). And they last forever if you keep them stock. This one had the edge chip and a super duty I had had the ts6 and both of them developed problems over time that could have been prevented if they were left stock. I have had 9 diesel pickups so far and would highly recommend finding an old 84-86 idi 6.9 with a 4 spd to start out with. they are cheap really fuel efficient and reliable as heck. Plus sound like nasty big blocks when you straight pipe um 🙂

    HPOP and the oil hoses is another issue. tons of common issues for sure.

      I shouldn’t have read your comment out loud my girlfriend thinks your a badass haha. Great rigs super tough platforms would advise not to do many performance upgrades above intake and exhaust. I’ve had 4 7.3s now and the 1 I left stock was the most dependable. Another tip is change batteries as soon as they get weak I’ve low voltaged (fried) 3 starters trying to put off buying batteries. Hello, just picked up a 95 7.3 crew cab f350. Got it for 8500 and it’s an automatic. It has 210-220k miles on it and I just got it yesterday. My dad has a silver 2000 7.3 extended cab 5 speed, 160k miles amazing condition all around. The one I just picked up (95) is in great shape, no rust, Arizona truck, white paint coat is fading from sun. Anyway, what do you think about it? Are the manuals worth more? My 95 seems to have a slight tick when accelerating and it sounds like a “putter” Noise like an exhaust leak. Anyway, what do you think it’s really worth right now? Also, what do you think my dads 2000 is worth. Thankyou.

    • @WreckingBall541
      @WreckingBall541  2 года назад

      The 2000 7.3 is a zf6 speed and that definitely makes it more desirable. I’d say in this market it would be in the 15-20k range. On the 95 I’d say you got it for a fair price. I’d advise on keeping them stock except for maybe opening the exhaust when you fix the leak. Hopefully you’re state doesn’t smog so you can run a down pipe to an open 3.5 or 4 inch

      @@skeetereater8136 that would be a tough call. 143 is nothing for miles but when they have intake exhaust they usually have been chipped. The e4od is a pretty weak transmission that usually goes between 180-220k on stock tune in my experience. Tough call I would be pretty thorough on inspection. And don’t be scared to pass. On my way home now from it but I did do a hard pass, the battery’s were dead, he didn’t even give the glow plugs a chance to cycle but I don’t think that’s a big deal or not, but we did get it fired also the block heater doesn’t exist on it... the back seat area outside the cab it’s a hole going all the way up underneath it where u just about can see into the back seat. Ball joints were shot, it sounded angry on fire up. Lolz it still looked nice when u weren’t looking for issues. But ur right about the transmission, there is a switch for upping the idle and what not. Turn it all the way up to 144? He said idk anything about that he said it was factory???
