Hello! I am from Ukraine. Looking for an update for Uconnect installed on a 2012 Durango Citadel. Uconnect system MEDIA CENTER 430 RBZ. Can someone please share an update as I don't have the system talking although it hears my voice and executes commands. I described this problem in the post above. And on the official website of Uconnect according to the vincode of my car, there is a message that my 2012 car is new and there is no update for it now. 🤯 I would greatly appreciate your help!
Hi Jason, Thanks for the video... I did access my menu according to your instructions. When I pushed run Network Connections Test it started and said please wait while checking,,, but has never finished and nothing that I can do will turn it off, change it or go back. How can I get out of it... there are no back buttons or side touch options,,, it just says still checking wait. I've turned car off and on, exited, etc. The only thing I haven.t done it disconnect all power. Thanks for your help.
To cancel you have to do a reset with your car running after 30 seconds press the speak and phone buttons on the top left for 30 seconds, turn the engine off and open the door for 30 seconds then close the door and turn the engine back on
I have a 2012 Durango and when I have my iPhone connected through the usb port in the arm rest or the one on the radio, the volume is way lower than the radio volume! I checked to make sure that the volume was all the way up on my phone. Is there a way I can adjust so that when my phone is plugged in it’s loud?? Even at full volume at 38, the radio blasts compared to when I have my phone connected.
This is from a software update in iOS, if you haven’t fixed it yet, go to Settings -> Music -> then slide off “Sound Check”. It should restore the loudness. It took me awhile to figure this out.

Hi Jason, I took my Uconnect out and successfully replaced the broken touchscreen glass. When I reinstalled, all the functions in the system work except that no sound is outputting when DVDs are playing. I did disconnect the battery and reconnect to see if resetting the system would solve the issue, but no luck. Any thoughts? In summary, DVDs do play, but no sounds is coming from the speakers or the Uconnect headphones. Thanks!
Hi Chris. I asked on contact at Dodge about your problem. The only thing he said is to disconnect to battery for a good 10mins. But it looks like you did that. Sorry I'm not sure.
I replaced my ECM (2008 TnC 4.1 liter) and now my radio won’t work, it won’t even turn on. Can you suggest anything? All fuses are fine, and was working before I replaced the computer. At night the screen is gray colored back light, that sometimes shut off n on. I’m clueless SOS!
Hi Jason I am having a similar situation My radio just quit working no screen no power all fuses that I have found are fine nothing is blown at one point my phone connecting to the blue tooth but not display would come on the screen. At night the buttons surrounding will light up and every so often if will come up to white screen. Any ideas ?
My unconnect won’t allow touch on the touch screen. The buttons and functions work but the screen doesn’t register touch. How do I reset it or fix that?😢 my unconnected is the same as this in the video, for a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Hi Jhae. I would try disconnecting the power to the uconnect. By removing the radio fuse or disconnecting it from the back of the uconnect or disconnecting your car battery. Wait a bit before connecting the power back up. That might fix your problem.
Is there any way to disable the safety feature ? I have a Chrysler 200 2013 literally pulled off the lot today and all day I was able to play music via Bluetooth but then randomly it started connecting my phone but not play music and it’s only the music it won’t play. I have a feeling that it’s because of that safety feature Or Even when I plug in my phone directly thru usb, the usb button itself is grayed out on screen and I can’t even click it but it’s plugged in and charging
Hi. It sound like it's the Bluetooth setting on your phone not the radio. Check you phone setting, if you can't find anything. Try unpairing it and repairing your phone to the radio

@@JasonTech i figured it out. You let it sit about 10-15 minutes. When you turn the car completely off and let it sit for 5 min or so it resets its self.
Only the 430N has the option for the navigation. If you remove the radio, there is 2 spot on the 430N. 1 for a hard drive and 1 for the navigation. On the 430 there is only 1 spot, just for the hard drive.
Does anyone know how to reset the rhb? I just bought a 17 wrangler Sahara yesterday and when I press the phone button I get a box saying Uconnect phone not found. It won’t let me do anything. And I cannot use my iPhone music when I plug it in. I’ve had 2 Wrangler previously, a 12 & 16 and never had an issue. I’m thinking I need to reset. I found videos online but they were crap. Thank you
Hi, you have to pair your phone. Hit the VR button and say setup. Then you will get the option to pair a device. Let me know if you want me to make a quick video on this.

I don't think so, because you have to use the touch screen to go through the menu. Did you try disconnecting the car battery or removing the radio fuse? just to reboot the radio.
@@johnduff7854 Hi man ,nope I disconect the battery and check the radio fuse and still have the problem , a friend told me to change the bus drive wire ,but you have to remove and open up the radio and do the job ,and just maybe this could be the problem.

Does anyone here know if the Uconnect 430n comes with a remote control? My 19 DGC GT says it did? But it’s not there. Someone said it only comes if you have rear DVD. I have only front DVD but I would like a remote control for my radio, SAT, CD/DVD and volume while I’m chilling out in back of my van listening to radio or front DVD…Thanks. Also: after I paired unconnected to phone I was listening to RUclips over the AUX function they speakers. One time a message came up on screen saying REMOTE READY. What does that mean? Is the remote lost inside the van and the Bluetooth was picking up the signal? Or does it mean something else?

Hi Toccara, it won’t tell you but you will be able to make changes to it. But I don’t think that’s will fix your problem. If you can’t get any sound, you might of blown a fuse. Check your fuses
2017 3500 promaster. AM radio wont work, Navagation stopped talking. The radio goes down when she should be talking but no audible voice. I put a new battery in . Winnebago trend RV
Hi Mike. Try disconnect and reconnect your phone to re-sync the address book. If that didn't work and you're still seeing messages on the Uconnect and you've already deleted the texts from your phone I would delete the phone from the Uconnect and re-pair it back.

That's a problem with the Bluetooth, try - Turned on the ignition, (do not start the car) - Hold down the phone and VR button simutaneously for 30 seconds - Then turned off the car, take the key out, - Opened the door and leave it open for 30 seconds, - close the door, then turned on the ignition, (do not start the car) - And it should be reset. Thanks Jason, it worked on my 2014 chrysler , but It created an issue for me I thought you might help... My upper part of the screen is not working and I tried to reset the uconnect to fix it but now I'm stock on the screen and can't press back , tried to turn of the car but still the hidden menu appears and can't shake it no matter what I press...can you help?
Just turning off the ignition (and opening the car door to cut off electricity to the radio) for a minute will turn off the menu. No need to pull the fuse.
How do I get the menu back off? I clicked on the network one, now it’s saying checking the connection line, please wait. It’s been saying this for 30 mins now. I tried to power off and on, but it’s still on. Won’t turn off or do anything
@@ivanvillegas9390 no, freaked me out because I couldn’t get it off, I ended up turning my jeep off for a bit and when I went back out after a bit, it was normal again. I still don’t know how to get the Bluetooth on.
This system isn't really loud. I'm going to have to get $300 worth of retention items and software in order to properly convert to an aftermarket system. Dodge has some type of volume restriction in the system to were you have to be withing like 2 feet of the vehicle with the windows down in order to hear it at full volume. It's ridiculous! Every other vehicle I have owned even the factory unit would run you out of the car!

Just click the parking brake one click is what I always heard to do. I don’t believe it engages the brakes at all.

Hi Ole, I would pull the radio out and unplug all the wires. Wait a bit and plug it back in.

Hi. The 1.1 Network/Connection Line Check? When I did it, it took about 10min for the scan to finish. Some of these checks take up to 1hr.

Pick a station then hold the number you want to save it too.
I'm having issues with my DVD system. It won't play on the RVS player but it will on the main system. Any tips?
Hi Rachel. Sorry I never ran into that problem. I would try removing the fuse to kill the power, then put the fuse back in. See if that resets it.

1.1 May lock you out for some time. I turned the van off completely and waited for about 5 min. It reset at that time.

Is the remote lost inside the van and the Bluetooth was picking up the signal? Or does it mean something else?
Hi. No it doesn't come with a remote because of safety. Only the TV in the back has a remote.

Hi Toccara, it won’t tell you but you will be able to make changes to it. But I don’t think that’s will fix your problem. If you can’t get any sound, you might of blown a fuse. Check your fuses

This radio doesn't not have a hard reset that we can do. Only the dealer can do it.

If nothing is working, I would first try rebooting the radio by removing the radio fuse, then put it back in.

Hi Mike. Try disconnect and reconnect your phone to re-sync the address book. If that didn't work and you're still seeing messages on the Uconnect and you've already deleted the texts from your phone I would delete the phone from the Uconnect and re-pair it back.

Hi. That's a problem with the Bluetooth, try
- Turned on the ignition, (do not start the car)
- Hold down the phone and VR button simutaneously for 30 seconds
- Then turned off the car, take the key out,
- Opened the door and leave it open for 30 seconds,
- close the door, then turned on the ignition, (do not start the car)
- And it should be reset.

Hi. I would pull the fuse out and put it back in.
Just turning off the ignition (and opening the car door to cut off electricity to the radio) for a minute will turn off the menu. No need to pull the fuse.

This system isn't really loud. I'm going to have to get $300 worth of retention items and software in order to properly convert to an aftermarket system. Dodge has some type of volume restriction in the system to were you have to be withing like 2 feet of the vehicle with the windows down in order to hear it at full volume. It's ridiculous! Every other vehicle I have owned even the factory unit would run you out of the car!

You can't. The only way is to remove the hard drive from the Uconnect and hook it up to a computer.
