I've had an HP-BH airbrush for about 15 ish years now, and out of the 6 airbrushes I have its the oldest but still my go to one for most of the airbrushing I do, even at £315 if it will work with no problems for 15 plus years, that seems like a bargain!
H&S did take notice. They released new models of their Ultra, Evolution and Infinity with massive changes to their previous models. I still work with my old Evolution and Infinity and they are working fine and I don't have much time to my modelling hobby, so I see no reason to get the 2024 models, though I very much would love to try them out as the reviews are quite positive. My biggest issue with airbrushes is cleaning, and the H&S models that I have clean relatively easy compared to the badgers I owned before. Especially my Badger with that tiny screw in nozzle is pain in the b*tt to clean, you need a special tool and its very easy to break it or loose it. So I sold my Badgers as I wasn't using them anymore and this is the only reason I have not purchased an Iwata or PSI Creos airbrush. I'd love to try them but that finicky tiny nozzle is telling me I won't like cleaning them and therefor I will reach for my H&S most of the time, and those Iwata's are a little to expensive to just give it a try. The new H&S 2024 Evo and Infinity and the Iwata HP are on my wanted list for now.
I bought an HP CH in 2013 near the same time I discovered this channel. I’ve always been happy with it. 😊
I have one of these that i bought around 15 years ago and it still runs like a charm.
Iwata's toolkit reminds me of a collection of fine gunsmithing tools.
Fantastic video, very informative. This is my favourite airbrush 😊 I can’t wait to see you using it on the Super Hornet!

Trigger advance stops are modern airbrush magic.
Unlike my finicky H&S Infinity my Iwata HP never fails me, just keep it clean and it’s a little champion.
Iwata lube is alchemical magic. It doesn't ruin paint. It's somehow inert.
Noice, Harder and Steenebeck take notice...
