    You make that look SO EASY.... DAMN YOU ha ha ha
    I actually have several Iwata's including three of these. I have the conversion set to bring it down to the 2.0 for one of them. I'm a modeler and about to embark on miniature bust painting. But someday I'd like to learn how to REALLy use my airbrushes IF I can ever get motivated.

      Lol 😂 thanks for your kind words and I’m sure you are airbrushing just fine 😉
      You can never have enough airbrushes especially trusty iwatas , appreciate your comment and good luck with your miniature bust painting .

    What is your opinion on the performance between the HP-CH and the HP-BH? I have a HP-CH but have always wondered if I should have went with the HP-BH instead. I was looking for an airbrush to do finer detail work than can be done with my HP-CS and I liked the larger paint cup of the HP-CH. Only after I bought the HP-CH did I realzed the needle size is smaller on the HP-BH. Iwata shows they are in the same class of "fine" and "medium" but it seems like the HP-BH would be optimized for the finner end.

    How does this airbrush perform for acrylic paint? I need an airbrush that doesn't get clogged up too easily from denser paints

    Thank you for everything I never knew about the recommended air pressure of 15 to 25 for this brush I was running at 30 but that’s without that rubber O ring I’m going to do a painting tonight with all the rubber O rings in place ! And I’ll run at 20 psi thank you again my friend

      No probs buddy happy it helped , you can tweak your psi to suit your needs and remember with the mac valve you can definitely run slightly higher and use you Mac valve to restrict your airflow 🤘🏻🤘🏻

    Nice review! Is reducer and a small nozzle the trick to getting super-fine lines straight away?

    • @AirbrushAsylum
      @AirbrushAsylum  11 месяцев назад

      Thank you 🙏🏻 yes it can definitely help but as you overthin your paint it becomes harder to control so the most important thing is to get your double action technique mastered first 👍🏻

    Ive had a hi line same one amd have the .23 needle nossle also after i watched you a few years ago i got one cause the micron is to much for my price eventually id like to get one and another hi line but im not sure .3 and eclipse .35 are that much different cause changing is stressful with that .23 nossle being 60us and tiny and the needle being 80 maybe just another eclipse to keep my .5 and one for .35 whats your thoughts

    • @AirbrushAsylum
      @AirbrushAsylum  11 месяцев назад

      Thanks for your comment if you are deciding on another brush then I’d go for the eclipse HPCS with a 0.35, it’s such a great all round brush and if you thin your paint and get your psi dialed in then you can do super fine detail 👍🏻😉

      @@AirbrushAsylum I've got one of those actually I think it's thay eclipse at least gravity feed bigger cup and I also have both the .35 and .50 needle nossles for it got that and the hi line with both needle nossle set ups just wanted the better one smaller needle but danmed if I can dial it in I'm pretty sure it's the paint and the .23 clogs easily just need to keep practicing

    Thank you my friend for reviewing my request ! You ROCK !🤘🏻🤘🏻but I found out the company I bought it from stole the rubber O ring from behind the head cap ! So consumer beware ! Check for the rubber O rings behind the head cap !! But other than that it runs AWSOME!!

      @@AirbrushAsylum and I would have never found out unless I used the trick you showed about why I’m getting bubbles in my cup ! And I got my brush and used soap water and brushed it around the seal behind the head cap it bubbled like crazy !! But after I got the O ring I’m getting a lot of spider blow outs so I had to bring down the psi alot ! My eclipse went from 35 psi to 20-25 and the HP went down to 15- 20 psi so big difference!! I just have a question when you do a skull the gum line always causes headaches should I use white or black to shade the top ! I saw in some of your videos you made a white dot then followed it by dagger strokes from the top of the tooth but also I saw black dagger shading from the top of the tooth what can I do I just want my skulls to look like yours and I just can’t get them right !! Thank you for any help !

      IF you received one of the 2nd production run of the Mobius .3, You will be shocked at how well its made, how good it feels, and how it performs. At its best, the Mobius is the equal to any airbrush by any manufacturer at any price. But at its worst, it's a gorgeous paperweight😮. . .I sincerely hope you got a good one. . .

    • @AirbrushAsylum
      @AirbrushAsylum  11 месяцев назад +1

      Nothing wrong with Paasche, nor any other models ie..badger, H&S etc...it's just that I currently have a stack of iwata's to review but also have a few Gaahleri brushes coming up soon. I actually learnt how to airbrush with a Paasche VL and used it religiously for about 10years before I bought an iwata and then never looked back. That said it is about the use of the airbrush ie...what you are airbrushing, that will determine what style and or brand you will buy and at the time when I switched, I was doing a lot of automotive work and the HP.C that I purchased was better suited to this. 😉

    Geez, I'm sorry, but you can't tell me this is any better than a USD 35.00 airbrush. This doesn't even have an individual trigger tensioner it seems or a needle tension window. I have a few more affordable brushes and they are identical to this in finish and performance. This is very overpriced imo but thanks for the review. Regards.

    • @commonsense7754
      @commonsense7754 11 месяцев назад +2

      It does have trigger tensioner and there is absolutely no comparison between this and your pos eBay crud.

      I was just being honest and voiced my civil opinion, but thanks for the great reply. Sorry, but there is nothing special about this brush for that price, was my point. Also, I don't have any Ebay brushes, I said 'more affordable'... Regards.. :) :)@@commonsense7754

      @AirbrushAsylum  11 месяцев назад +3

      Appreciate your comment and understand that there are plenty of great brushes at all different price ranges. That said, most of the time these brushes don’t have Teflon seals, nor do they all perform the same ie..parts are not machined at the quality of brands like iwata, gsi Creos, badger H&S etc.. this brush performs incredible and will do with Waterbased or automotive paint and will continue to for years and years. It really comes down to what you wish to spend and even though it’s expensive, I have had iwatas for 20+ years and they still perform amazingly whereas some of the cheaper brushes don’t stand the test of time 🫡👍🏻

      The only Chinese made airbrush that stands any chance of a comparison to any Iwata would be the Gaahleri Mobius .3 .All of the other Chinese brushes look and feel "chintzy" no matter how well they seem to perform when new.
