I'm from the U.S. and this is the first I have ever heard of paying a television fee to watch air waves being broadcast. I find this abuse of power to be outrageous. Thumbs up for standing your ground.

The TV man is loving it. He has the smirk of a sadist. I see that same smile on PCSO's and traffic wardens. That same smirk is the what is wrong with mankind.
    That Police Sergeant was excellent.

  • @gwybodefe6408

Amazing stuff. Uk is watched severely more than most countries by its CCTV. More amazing is BBC TV licensing is enforced by the UK government. Given that there is a multitude of television companies whom we can usually choose to pay for their services - should we choose to contract with them - it is very scary to think we should be FORCED automatically by the will of politicians (men in frocks) to purchase a license simply because they force us too. This is nothing more than an obvious tax. Should I wish to subscribe to a TV package WITHOUT BBC channels, I CANNOT! This is NOT an option, thus it is a preordained plan towards a media monopoly. Interesting days.

Good job guys - well done. One opportunity you could have seized upon is when the TV licensing guy was reading you the caution, you should have called the Constable over to report a criminal act: impersonating a police officer, and ask the Constable to apprehend said impersonator and remove him from your property. :)

Thanks for uploading this. As a lifelong licence payer, I cancelled my direct debit two months ago and am already receiving the standard obscene mail from the British Bullying Corporation. I have to admit I was a little nervous at first, but I'm now actually looking forward to my first visit from the goons. I'm going to be polite first, and then simply close the door in the goons (or goonesses) face. I'll post that first visit on youtube.

Oh my God!! Why are the police wasting their time with this crap?? They should be out catching murderers, rapists and child molestors instead of heckling folks at their front doors. I have a hard and fast rule that unless somebody makes a prior appointment with me, I never answer the door. I'm a woman living alone and I refuse to answer the door to some potential rapist or murderer. If it's a cop, I take his badge number then phone the station to confirm his identity. I

This video and he bailiff video with 'Loz' are by far and away the best thing people can watch if they want to earn a lot in a short space. Keep up the good work chaps. You have my respect for standing your Ground. They did the same to me many years ago.II had a van parked up in a culdisac with n0o insurance . I didnt use it to stay within the law but I had nowhere else to part it . The police came around and warned me .Eventually they took me to court and I pleaded not guilty so they adjurned the case for 2 months . I then received a letter stating that my Driving licence was revoked til the case came up.In other words I was guilty till proven innocent .Geoff

Amazing, wonderful and beautiful vid man, great to see people "questioning" and taking a "stand" against "claimed authority". Gotta say what a decent bloke the constable was too, half knowing and curious :-)
I don't really comprehend how the "dwellers" arrived at this juncture though, having the BBC obtain a warrant seems quite surreal to me... but then the world IS getting weirder!
