@shivendrahansda6451 Before filling out my choices, we were given the number of vacancies in each zone for every post. Looking at that, I found this role to be suitable as I wanted to stay close to my family. There are other good posts too, like Assistant Section Officer in the Ministry of External Affairs, Assistant Audit Officer in the Comptroller and Auditor General of India (a gazetted post), Income Tax Inspector, etc. But I preferred GST Inspector.
I work in railway as engineer, earning 75k. My job is like 24/7. No leave on any festival. Sometimes duty on weekends too. My colleague did suicide in 2018 as he did not get leave for last 8 months. Everytime his leave was regretted due to staff shortage. He was earning 55k that time. Not all govt job are 9 to 5 PM. Already my wife filed divorce case against me as their is no work life balance. Ofcourse their are few govt jobs where corruption,work life balance, salary without doing anything exist.
Both paths have their pros and cons: government jobs offer stability, defined work hours, and a sense of serving the nation, while IT jobs offer faster growth, better pay potential, and a constantly evolving work environment.💯❤️
I m group B gazetted officer.... selected thrice in SSC CGL... before that I was working in sapient Nitro MNC...I regret leaving IT job...I request everyone plz don't leave IT job.

My story : I had been to state civil services psc interview once and almost cleared , but got kicked out of the list bcoz of malpractice. I lost the case in court too😢 appeared for upsc mains once . I lost precious 7 years after my engineering . From last 4 years I am working in front end development and earning well . Chose your career wisely ❤ don't ruin your career .I still get traumatized whenever I remember those 7 years of preparation, it made me hero to zero Everybody will tell you the perks of getting govt job . But nobody will tell you the pain of probability of success
I done B.E 3 year pvt job + 4 year govt job class c , both have pros and cons you can learn many thing in pvt sector can go foreign and earn much but your family background should be good and not the only son of your family. In govt sector mental pressure is less but the biggest issue is location you will get transfer after every 3 years and if you are honest and unable to provide monthly commission to your seniors and have to loot poor and homeless people , if you fail you will get transfer. Every 4-6 month which will make your life hell , my wife with 1 year baby refuses to live with me and went to their hometown and i have to live alone without family and friends as staff friends changes frequently in govt sector, My advice is clear you should have highing paying skill also should have side business or working wife if you are in any of both job as in both case you will realise that you are slave ,
Government job is a very wide spectrum. An IT engineer job can’t simply be compared to any govt job. People run towards govt jobs by observing the lifestyle and perks of a Grade ‘A’ service whereas other grade service such as B,C,D can’t be compared with an IT job on any parameters. In recent times people are delusional they want salary like an IT engineer but want to work like a government job.
now a days people want just a govt job nothing else , they dont see the interest and passion in their. they think if you get a govt job , life is set , nobody remove me from my job. parents also like that only , their kid can get a govt job , they feel no evil can attack us. But in future they get to know that not only one , number of evil eyes are on them. Some people have passion and interest in doing particular jobs, job security is not matter for them , they just want job which makes them happy. passion people dont feel pressure is high thing, they take it as a challenge and enjoy that. BTech , computer science ke alava aise students bhi hein,jinhone honours or pass BSC ,BA kiya, uske pass govt job ke liye padna hota hei ,sabke bas mein buisness karna nehi hota,sabke pass invest karne ke liye paise nehi rehta hein, kuch gao mein se hein ,kuch lok chote town se hein, kuch lok aise hote hein jiske parivar mein koi job hi nehi hein,uske liye toh government job e ekmatro bharosa hein
My elder sister is a senior IFS,sits in the ministry in Delhi.I am also with Armed forces.But the catch is I am also a Chartered Engineer,from India and UK both,which makes me elite class contractor. The liaison I am having now through my own dept and my sister's one...the amount of money one can make and power one can have just unimaginable by others. But yes you can't grow if you work in the govt but you will if you work with the govt.

Bhiya, wanted to ask you something. My job requires me to work for 9 hours, and after that, I don’t feel like picking up my laptop again for the rest of the day. Now, I want to switch, but when I feel exhausted or realize I have work in the afternoon, I wonder how I can study so much. I’m afraid that my eyes will hurt or my health will deteriorate, and because of this, I’m unable to do any courses or anything else to make the switch.
after coming from job wash ur eyes , go nearby temple and than u feel positive and reaserch for next job if u think u are much tired in this job but believe me if u get patience and when do excell in current job than u not able to leave

It needs 1-1.5 years of preparation if you are beginner 2) It's just a clerical job no dishum dishum 😅 , you don't get a gun in this 3) Inspectors don't do raid officers do You will be promoted to officer level after 8-10 years approx 4)You get descent salary not more than bank po 5) You get uniform in this but you only wear it on special occasions like 15th August, rest of the days you are on formals as it is a clerical job 6) No transfer if you have got a certain state be in that rest of your life or prepare again 7) Good exposure, you will learn lot of things . 8) If you are a technical person or recent graduate of IT prepare it along any on demand skills don't fully depend on this

Man Inspectors are like non-commissioned officers they can be fired or demoted very easily by Group A officers of their Department , which is not so rare either. As long as they don't piss off their boss they are good

Hey, Your GATE preparation will help you in some other exams too, like the IBPS SO IT Officer exam, NABARD IT Officer, SBI IT Officer, and if you're good at coding, the SEBI IT Officer. Do apply for these exams as well. The deadline for the SBI IT Officer is October 4, 2024. All the best :)

@@pujasharma6805 ok... reason 1. Salary: I left my IT job in 2017 that time my salary was 40k in hand. Today in govt job my salary is 77k in hand...but today all of my friends of private sector is earning more than 25 LPA in india and some are out of India and earning in crores. I am 2015 pass engineer. 2. Pension: there is no pension in govt now. Transfer is there. 3. WFH: u can get WFH in IT 4. U can retire early in IT with a lot of money and u can do whatever u like or want...but in govt u have to work till 60 as salary is very low compare to IT....

@@ssca2z211it’s only money part you highlighted, stress is IT is not worth it. You need substance to live a long life, being a code monkey never helps. For IT companies, employees are just a resource they can kick anytime. Crores is outside india where cost of living is high. 25 lpa inhand is like 1.5L which is not that higher than govt job perks. I was earning 16lpa in Hyderabad and always felt like poor and broke. And even now i feel the same

Mere Bhaiyo, Reality ye hai ki Pvt sector me CEO bhi sucide krta hai Government me Peon tak nahi karta. try as much as you can for Government sector before coming to Pvt. In India there are no labour norms for Pvt sector, so it won't be worth it. how you will be thrown away after 45 in pvt.
According to me expect IT job all other private sector job pay is less only. Comparing government job with IT job is not a good comparison. I am working as an QC enginner from 2019 to 2023 i have 32 k only my salrey. Now i cleared ibps clerk ( canara bank ) my starting pay is 42 k in hand. Very good work life balence In private sector working hr and working nature is more pressure when compare to bank. Next next growth is to good when comapre to manufacture unit.

My elder sister is a senior IFS,sits in the ministry in Delhi.I am also with Armed forces.But the catch is I am also a Chartered Engineer,from India and UK both,which makes me elite class contractor. The liaison I am having now through my own dept and my sister's one...the amount of money one can make and power one can have just unimaginable by others. But yes you can't grow if you work in the govt but you will if you work with the govt.

after coming from job wash ur eyes , go nearby temple and than u feel positive and reaserch for next job if u think u are much tired in this job but believe me if u get patience and when do excell in current job than u not able to leave
The thing is Public sector undertaking job is much more transparent than private sector jobs
1). It needs 1-1.5 years of preparation if you are beginner
2) It's just a clerical job no dishum dishum 😅 , you don't get a gun in this
3) Inspectors don't do raid officers do
You will be promoted to officer level after 8-10 years approx
4)You get descent salary not more than bank po
5) You get uniform in this but you only wear it on special occasions like 15th August, rest of the days you are on formals as it is a clerical job
6) No transfer if you have got a certain state be in that rest of your life or prepare again
7) Good exposure, you will learn lot of things .
8) If you are a technical person or recent graduate of IT prepare it along any on demand skills don't fully depend on this

1. Salary: I left my IT job in 2017 that time my salary was 40k in hand. Today in govt job my salary is 77k in hand...but today all of my friends of private sector is earning more than 25 LPA in india and some are out of India and earning in crores. I am 2015 pass engineer.
2. Pension: there is no pension in govt now. Transfer is there.
3. WFH: u can get WFH in IT
4. U can retire early in IT with a lot of money and u can do whatever u like or want...but in govt u have to work till 60 as salary is very low compare to IT....

Crores is outside india where cost of living is high. 25 lpa inhand is like 1.5L which is not that higher than govt job perks. I was earning 16lpa in Hyderabad and always felt like poor and broke. And even now i feel the same
