Thanks for the video Marci. Helped out a lot. I just designed my first lake map with your help but did all the designing in lightburn. If you decide you want to give it another shot hit me up.
I saw your thumbnail and saw Lake Eufaula. I grew up in Eufaula, Alabama. I’ve done several cnc carvings using snazzy maps. Thanks, because I wasn’t sure how to do a few steps. I want to do water only so I can do it in blue epoxy!
great tutorial. thanks! I just ordered my xtool and Im also nervous about light burn. I might try this route as Im proficient in circut. Id love to see a follow up to this. How it engraved? what you filled it with?
Awesome job & yes you need to learn light burn it’s not that difficult. I’m not a computer knowledge guy but have learned lots. I watched lahobbyguy he has lots of videos to show how to use program he’s a really good instructor. Moves at a slow pace & explains exactly what & how to do something.
Suggestion, to use the fill function more efficiently, after selecting your first area to fill, hold down the Shift Key and select each of the other areas, whilst continuing to hold down the Shift Key. This will highlight all the areas you want filled, then simply click the fill box.
Awesome video tutorial. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you Jodi! I’ll probably do just that.

Awesome Video. Thank You!
When you expand the image in Snazzy Maps, how do you get the cursor to come up to select the area. I can see how to get that cursor.
It would be with the screenshot function of whatever computer you are using. For my Mac it's cntl+shft+4
@@marcijones693 ok, I thought it was a website function. I don’t think PCs have that capability.
@@davemckeithan8574 search for the snipit tool.
@@marcijones693 That works perfectly. Thanks for the tip.
Thanks for sharing. I would love to see the end product.
