I'm definitely looking forward to it! It felt kinda weird overall but since I love code vein it quickly grew on me. Can't wait to see all your coverage of it!
I just recently started Code Vein. I'm not really a fan of anime, but I'm liking this game. Gonna try the AI Limit demo soon. I never tire of these kinds of games.
@@deoccultistthat's what's odd to me. The game looks like a game that would mostly attract anime fans. Since you're not one, I find it odd. I don't mean anything bad by that though
I couldn't really vibe with the combat in Code Vein as much as I tried but this is looking interesting. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Gonna try it on PC and PS5
thank you for this vid, been a while since I've had fun with a game like this, so this was a very welcome surprise, going to be honest I'm really loving the shield and the great sword, game is def more casual friendly, but it can definitely fuck you up if you aren't paying attention. edit: nah did boss rush, this game will actually fuck you anally if you don't learn the game LMFAO I also do hope they have a coop function similar to dark souls where you can summon someone for a short period of time, or hell they could go the code vein route and have someone with you permanently, I will play the game even if it is single player, but I would love to play this with another buddy, since I've always played these types of games with my best bro..
Thank you for this video, I had no idea about the demo. I actually like a LOT this game. The boss rush mode is rly nice, to test now which weapons you like and to start with when game come out. Sub and Like!
Seems fun enough so far; but man, I could really use a proper CV2 lol There was a lot in that game that could've been improved by having a full on sequel; like weapon variety, and aping Stranger of Paradise's Sub Job swapping (Sub Blood Code? lol)
Looking at the gameplay it does LOOK like code vain but this game is not made by the same studio that made vain. If you try looking up sense games which is whats listed on the steam page they have a website but its pretty lacking of information, i almost wanna say this could be a chinese studio taking the art and feel of code vain and doing their own take on it. that's what i get when doing a little bit of research like google translate and find chinese letters and not Japanese.
Code vein was ok game I have almost got the most achievements on playstation accept the 4th ending If code vein has sequel omg lol that would be something else
My problem with it is its too slow. When i think anime its gonna have to be faster. Ill still get it i hope i love it ans i hope it will get faster but i feel like the same let downs that code vein gave me this will also. Also this game is a bit more clunky too. Animations like putting the weopon away etc. I noticed playing the game and they also need some kind of background music or something going on.
Idk I couldn’t get into it. I, like you played after first berserker. And the gameplay was decent enough. But didn’t shine. The AI is kinda dumb, and it just looks really bland. The parries are kinda clunky and hard to time (especially after first berserker). Dodging was nice though. No significant frame drops in my playthrough. It just lacks a lot. I’ll definitely wait for a sale. It feels like a $25 game imo. At least as is. I do like the no stamina though. Nice perk.
I dont understand why you said came out of nowhere? It had a trailer almost 1 year ago! Its a Chinese hero project! I knew and most people knew about this game for a while now
Don't know if it's just me that has this feeling or if I'm just too spoiled by other games in this genre, but right now, the current state of the demo is meh at best. You have really annoying framedrops almost constantly, the enemy hitboxes are so wonky at times that it makes Monster Hunter hitboxes look like absolute precision work, spells and weapon skills use up the one resource you want to keep at 100% pretty much always to maximize damage output. Some telegraphs for enemy attacks are way too drawn out while others are almost non-existant. Attacks deal way too much damage for the amout of windup (or lack thereof) they have. Like seriously, an almost instantaneous charge covering over half of the arena with barely any way to predict the trajectory of it shouldn't take off 2/3 of my health when I already put way too many points in Vitality and wear the best armor I can get at that point. The english synchronisation is mediocre at best. Every weapon of a class having pretty much the same moveset with the only difference being the weaponskill and the stat scaling might have been fine 10 years ago but nowadays it just feels lazy. The charged heavy attacks of the weapons are way to damn slow, making them pretty much unuseable in any high pressure situation, same goes for some of the weaponskills. If you started the game with the greatsword and don't use the one-handed-sword you find like a third into the level, the boss is just an absolute wall for you cause it's way to damn fast for any slow weapon to reliably land hits without the risk of getting backhanded by the boss or just getting your attack interrupted because there is seemingly no hyperarmor for heavy weapons. I know those are a lot of complaints, and don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed the demo, but those are some servere problems, at least for me. I know it's a demo and it's fairly certain that at least the performance problems will be gone in the full release, but there are still a lot of other things that the developer needs to look at. I'm willing to give the game another try with it's full release, but right now it feels more like they looked at all the other soulslikes, picked a mechanic from each of them and just threw it together without much thought about if the mechanics actually work together. There's that distinct "oomph" missing from it that would set it apart from other soulslikes. In the end you have to try it yourself, don't feel discouraged by my rant, play the demo yourself, and tell the developers your thoughts. There are not many developers left that are actually willing to ask the players about their experiences and we should definitely make use of that to help them improve the game.
We need a Code Vein 2 in our lives!
Definitely we need Code Vein 2
I'm definitely looking forward to it! It felt kinda weird overall but since I love code vein it quickly grew on me. Can't wait to see all your coverage of it!
devs of code vein literally neglected it and its sad because when code vein first come out i really loved it
She can dual wield?!
Say no more, I'm sold!!!
definitely gonna get this whenever it drops
Its still got a lot of rough edges, i hope they polish it up for the full release
wow you weren't lying when you said it came out of nowhere. Doesn't matter though i'm all for it and i'm already hyped, looks pretty cool
This game has been on my radar for a year now, I love the look of it and I’m downloading the demo now!

Haha, Why did you start code vein then?
@@lemonsquishy197 Because I like the story and combat. It's darker, not as annoying as Final Fantasy or Persona.

Quickstep dodge sold me on this game lol. I love the aggressive style of Bloodborne, and this one seems to give you that same style.
Code Vein had a hella small budget from what I heard, it was a pretty good game taking that into account.
I couldn't really vibe with the combat in Code Vein as much as I tried but this is looking interesting. Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Gonna try it on PC and PS5
Holly Molly! I haven't even finished Code Vein yet.
I love Arrisa's voice and commentary, normally your character is completely silent in most soulslikes.
On ps5 seems to be running pretty smooth. Im excited for it. Hoping it releases soon.
I got Code Vein new sealed on eBay a few months ago. The upcoming Disorder looks good as well. That's very cyberpunk, the genre, not the game.
This Came Out Of Nowhere😮
Oh, finally a delicious treat of a game
im obsessed with code vein and AI so.......

Its tough to go from Khazan to this game. I really think it was a fun demo though!

Yeah I knew you would like it, that cose vein game I couldn't even get past the tutorial I hated that mess it was too much for me lol
does it have a character customization ?
No, this is the main character
Seems fun enough so far; but man, I could really use a proper CV2 lol

I want to try this
I believe this is a china hero project game
But does she have a bath towel outfit?
looks interesting.

I hope you can change yiur characters look (one of the best things in code vein imo) but the game looks great to play regardless
I thought Thymesia also had no stamina.
True it doesn't. Code vein did tho far as I remember. My memory is terrible lol
Code vein was ok game
I have almost got the most achievements on playstation accept the 4th ending
If code vein has sequel omg lol that would be something else
I love your voice
Code vein 2?
It's not code vein 2 if 75% of the budget didn't go into the character creation tool
That character creation was top notch!! Lol
@@Ericutz4thewin yeah I love it so much. I spent probably half of my playtime there haha
Do you have twitter anymore?
Nah I don't, I got rid of it like 3 months ago or so

Gameplay seems slow, just like dark souls 1, which i like

This game doesn't look good enough for how badly it runs, that said it's a demo so hopefully it can be optimized
ugh i might actually have to switch off xbox, ps is momopolizing all the recent souls likes
That's 1 reason I game on PS more
This looks like a little bit of lies of p with the gameplay mechanics.
turns out there are stolen assets in this game!
Wait, really???

No, its BAD. Who adds a 10+sec stun for being out of Stamina.
manage your resource, its literally made to make you think about how you play instead of just wasting it, it's literally a stagger bar
There's no stamina
Pass, generic anime chick and no character creation is wild
What I would give for an anime version of The Division 2 with Code Vein's customization.
Game looks so cheap with combat and hit boxes
