Irving E and he plays the guitar he crafted with his own hands, which also happens to be one of the most advanced guitars of his time, and probably still is
That smile on Brian's face at the end when he was playing guitar and freddie was singing... The emotion you could read in his smile like words on a paper. It made me so sad and happy at the same time. Short words I cried.
What a lovely, touching performance. I don't think that Brian May nor the other band members of Queen will every really stop mourning the loss of their friend, their creative cohort, Freddy Mercury. He's in their DNA it seems.
Is there a need to stop mourning? I think not. Freddie was an amazing soul; Queen still is. It was a privilege to see them in 1986...would certainly see them with Adam.
I truly felt Sir Brian's Love for FREDDIE in this performance ! When Sir Brian May says " Please let's sing it all together for FREDDIE. OK ?" My heart broke and I sang and cried through the whole song and when FREDDIE comes on the screen to sing the last verse I truly broke down. When Bri looks back at FREDDIE and gives him a thumbs up it made me smile. :}} What a super emotional experience ! I'll NEVER forget you FREDDIE MERCURY !
adam has done such a beautiful job of respecting freddie's memory and also sharing queen with a new generation. saw queen with adam a few years ago with my dad, and I'll always treasure the memory
I don't know why everyone is being so hateful to Adam Lambert. I mean he is obviously one of the best singers today and you have to know that singing Queen songs isn't easy. Can you imagine any other of nowadays "most famous singers" like Taylor, Katy, Britney, JB, etc. doing that? I don't think so! And I also like his attitude; he's paying a lot of respect to Freddie Mercury.
The situation is similar to Brian Johnsons (AC/DC). Also a very great singer but he will always be compared to Bon Scott. Its really no shame not to reach Bon Scott
Piano Man I completely understand what you're talking about. But it still makes me sad that some people are being so rude. Especially because they're both great singers and i think we don't have many of them nowadays. It's sad that today we divide singers on those who can sing and who can't sing. We should appreciate real talent more.
+Diana Jones i think most of them don`t understand that this is not a dishonor every singer got his own style to sing, but people sometimes just think to the "older" styles
This is such a beautiful song...when the people had their hands up in the shape of a heart, I cried. Continue to R.I.P. Freddie...you're loved and missed sweet angel ❤
It used to piss me off seeing Adam standing where Freddie stood, but seeing this now, its obvious Brian just wants to keep Freddie alive through the music. As Freddie said 'do what you want with me, just don't make me boring' for my generation who never got to see queen n will never see Freddie it would be incredible to see this, I know it's not the real thing, its about as close as we will get, so we should be grateful for getting the chance to still see some part of queen living on for Freddie. At the end of the day they need a singer to sing the songs, obviously it will always be Freddie but that doesn't mean we shouldn't be able to hear the songs live and appreciate them.
I grew up listening to Queen, my teen years when their sweet rockin' tunes came to the states after I moved here from Liverpool. Will forever be a fan.
Queen without all of their members is technically Queen, but it is just not the same as all four united. Each member gives a certain chemistry that really makes the band shine. Even individual they are amazing, but all together they are legends.
The crowd is just lovely!!! They were singing so earnestly and making the little hearts with their fingers :)) Gorgeous song!!! Love Brian so much!!! RIP sweet Freddie!
Brian. You are so amazing. Beautiful voice and beautiful song. What a wonderful tribute to Freddie. It was always my favorite song. And, oh how we miss Freddie.
This made me cry... You will never get over someone dear to your heart's death especially a friend. You may live with it but you won't forget. It's just sooo sad Freddie Mercury died a young age. I may be born at '85, but as a music lover, I fell in love with this song especially on Freddie's voice, superb! Very unique! No one can replace or even imitate his voice!
You loved Freddie so much you wont allow anyone to sing his songs. That is your tribute to Freddie. Others try their hardest to perform his songs as a tribute, I am glad they do, it lets me know that I am not alone in missing his incredible talent.
oh Brian you git... you've made me smile and laugh then feel so choked up and sad... then lift me up and feel happy again. THANK YOU and god bless you all.
How absolutely beautiful...a lovely song, and a lasting friendship and respect for Freddie...and Brian, so glad you and Roger can perform again as Queen + Adam Lambert, honoring your band, rocking on, and honoring Freddie.
John Deacon has always had issues. He didn't even turn up into Queen's induction in the R&R Hall of Fame. This is one of the best videos I have seen. Amazing. Great to hear Brian's voice going strong. What a true professional and dedicated performer.
I saw them live 6 times. I've never seen a group since that can match Queen in concert. long live Freddie and the rest of Queen. Thanks for this Brian.
Awww. This made me cry. Brian has a beautiful voice too...hearing him solo makes me realize that his vocals are a huge part of the Queen sound. I LOVE that Queen was the kind of band where each member was vital to the success of the band, and each one has strong vocals and instrumental ability. They are really one of a kind. LOOOOOOOVE!
You could tell it really got to Brian. Some want to compare Adam to Freddie, well that is just a load of bollocks. There is no comparison. There will never be another Freddie. I think if Freddie knew just how much he is missed it would truly blow his mind. I suppose Brian and Roger figure Adam is the best they can find to do their songs. I also miss John Deacon. His bass licks just made their songs. It is sad what has happened to him.
I saw the show in Toronto. I was there when Freddie was alive and singing with Queen, I was there when he died and now I am there as they bring his music back to us. The founding members of Queen obviously have a great deal of respect for Adam and I felt Adam has a great deal of respect for Freddie and Queen. Finally there is someone who can share Freddie's music with the world once again and do it justice. He is not trying to be Freddie he is just passionate about bringing the music back to us.
Yeah well Brian calls Adam 'Gift of God' now. It is not like Adam came into this wanting to replace Freddie anyway. He doesn't want to be Freddie as he is too proud of everything he is as a person and artist.
It's just beautiful the way Brian share his feelings with the audience and with me, It really makes fall my tears, and when Freddie appears I'm just crying like a baby!
I thought that I'd be fine but the tears started as soon as Brian said, "For Freddie." I never cry during sad movies or anything, but Queen will always make me emotional. They are so incredibly special to me; words can't express
Absolutely beautiful, I expected Adam to butcher the song, but it was a million times better than I expected. I didn't think I would cry, but when Freddie sang the last part of the song that deffinitely brought a tear to my eye. Rest in Peace Freddie, we all miss you :)
Freddie and May are amazing. May still miss Freddie im definitely sure . May couldn’t forget Freddie because Freddie is a Legend. Legends aren’t forgot. Respect for your loyalty May!!
Brian said "beautiful" just like Freddie did and I don't think that's a coincidence. Look at his smile! He was remembering the moment. Live forever Queen! ❤
Did you see Brian's expression when the Freddie clip came on? Looking back at his old friend, looking back to the crowd with a hurt, yet comforted smile and playing his beautiful solo while Freddie sang and then peering back towards Freddie and giving his thumbs up as if to say, "we still got it, old chap". That's what makes bands like Queen a once-in-a-lifetime band. That was beautiful, Brian. Freddie would be proud, but you already know that. :) RIP Freddie, see you some day.
Wow! Really emotional especialy the end, closed my eyes and imagined freddie was there :) Gone but never forgotton his spirit lives in us all queen fans
Almost cried at the end there. If you weren't around for Freddie, you missed out...we miss you..,please come back to us. Thumbs up if you were around for Freddie,
Always a fresh and moving performance from Brian. Even his hair won't give up! :) Once a song for our lost loves, here it's a song for our lost Freddie. RIP xxoo
i so love this song.i loved queen so much more because of this.i saw the video concert of queen with freddie singing this.very emotional.i loved it..its sad to see brian singing alone..but i love his voice.so sweet..3
Extraordinaire... Incroyable... Brian May toujours aussi extra... Mais Freddie à la fin... C'est l'apothéose, l'explosion d'émotions! Vive Queen et FREDDIE pour toujours!
I was around For Queen, I'm sorry for those who weren't but I about cried at the end there, We still miss you after 20 years Freddie, Come back to us. Wish you could see how the world has changed. We still love you to. please come back.
Brian May is one living legend. Astrophysicist, amazing guitarist, and he has majestic hair too.
Irving E and he plays the guitar he crafted with his own hands, which also happens to be one of the most advanced guitars of his time, and probably still is
Oh my. My heart broke when Brian looked at 'Freddie' and gave him a thumbs up. I can't stop crying ;-;
He still misses his friend.
Even after almost 40 years, Brian still knows how to give chills playing this song on the guitar...then Freddie at the end gives goosebumps!
Watching Brian May sing at this age made me emotional. I love Queen and this song is just beautiful. May is an amazing and very talented musician.
That smile on Brian's face at the end when he was playing guitar and freddie was singing... The emotion you could read in his smile like words on a paper. It made me so sad and happy at the same time. Short words I cried.
You are not alone. Though I didn't cry, it took everything I had not to.
same here, i knew that he misses freddie as much as we do
+kyra♥
music helps you to show emotions and that`s ok
when freddy comes on you can really feel the emotion legends never die. queen forever
Me too.....😢
I cried. It's so beautiful, and then when Freddie came onscreen.... I just lost it. Queen will live forever!
What a lovely, touching performance. I don't think that Brian May nor the other band members of Queen will every really stop mourning the loss of their friend, their creative cohort, Freddy Mercury. He's in their DNA it seems.
Freddie lives in all of us.
Brian, Roger and John losing Freddie was hard and they still grieve for him. We all do. But Freddie's memory and spirit live on.
The lost of a loved one.... the mourning never stops..... belive it
Is there a need to stop mourning? I think not. Freddie was an amazing soul; Queen still is. It was a privilege to see them in 1986...would certainly see them with Adam.
i have never seen Queen live, but I have seen twice Queen + Adam Lambert. Haven't regret to seeing them.
I truly felt Sir Brian's Love for FREDDIE in this performance ! When Sir Brian May says " Please let's sing it all together for FREDDIE. OK ?" it's Freddie
novababy dumb
The ending killed my heart... You're so missed, Freddie
R Moocher2 LOOOL what a nutjob... Get a life, loser HAHAHAHA
I really have no idea what that little argument was about, but I don't think it was really appropriate on a video like this.
I was there... You couldn't even imagine the wave of evergy or whatever it was... When Freddy came on screen it felt... nirvana like.
+Viktor Chudyk I envy you for that experience must have been incredible.
lindo
lindo
lindo
Viktor Chudyk ..
Holy fuck, this just made me cry like a baby.
This performance and the Video of Freddie...
it`s just too much for me.
Epiphon And than this thumb up at the end, it`s so.. AHHH i don`t know how to write down what i feel right now
One of the most beautiful and sad things i have ever seen

schwartenking I absolutely agree with you.
I don't know why people complain. Would they rather these songs not be played at all? I'm just thankful that Queen are still touring.
Brian May has done an amazing job of keeping up Queen's legacy.
This is such a beautiful song...when the people had their hands up in the shape of a heart, I cried. Continue to R.I.P. Freddie...you're loved and missed sweet angel ❤
in his heart , i know he is sad..
We all are
He is not on stage because he left it very respectfully. And also I missing John Deacon. And I love you Freddie.
I didn't know Brian May could sing, he has a nice voice!
You should listen to the Queen song"'39"; Brian sings lead on that one.
+Rachel Brown yes, it's a great song
Or driven by you 😊
+imanofficialangirl oh I love that one!
+ in Bohemian Rhapsody too
this is the most tear-jerkingist video, it gets me everytime...
Come on RUclips, Facebook gave us a Love button. It's time you do the same!

Judith Martin Losing Freddie has been quite painful. I think when he passed I cried more than when I had to put my beloved dog under.
Can't stop crying,Love Freddie!
Adam lambert is great. he will not and does not want replace Freddie

Well said my friend, well said.
they never could be separable forever.
Great rendition, and very much makes us miss Freddie. This is a reminder of how short our time on this earth really is. Enjoy while you can.
The crowd is just lovely!!! They were singing so earnestly and making the little hearts with their fingers :)) Gorgeous song!!! Love Brian so much!!! RIP sweet Freddie!

What a wonderful performance Brian May! God bless you! You have such a beautiful voice, you´re so talented and a kind man.
GRANDE QUEEN!
Wow, it was so touching that I burst crying in the end...
Such a great band they were, it's unbelievable.
Freddy, you'll be allways remembered!
This is one of the few songs that make me cry.
Brian. You are so amazing. Beautiful voice and beautiful song. What a wonderful tribute to Freddie. It was always my favorite song. And, oh how we miss Freddie.

This is fucking awesome! You can actually feel, Freddy, singing along. God love ya!
So simple and so touching!!!

Marc Martel was born to sing Queen & should be the Front man. He is a million times better than Adam in everywway
It's just beautiful the way Brian share his feelings with the audience and with me, It really makes fall my tears, and when Freddie appears I'm just crying like a baby!
Queen forever

Magic. He makes magic.
Stunning... and the crowd is captured. Queen was (and remains) an extraordinary group of musical genius.
2018 n i still watching this 😢
If the ending of this song doesn't give you tears but your still smiling go away.
I thought that I'd be fine but the tears started as soon as Brian said, "For Freddie." I never cry during sad movies or anything, but Queen will always make me emotional. They are so incredibly special to me; words can't express

I didn't know the guitarist of queen had such an amazing voice. Queen should have had him sing this song all along.
Notice: he is almost 70 years old. Imagine his voice, when he was younger! That's amazing.
All four of them can actually sing. And Roger played a huge part in their vocals too
This video always makes me cry 🥺🥺🥺. Freddie will always be missed and loved...
i so love this song.i loved queen so much more because of this.i saw the video concert of queen with freddie singing this.very emotional.i loved it..its sad to see brian singing alone..but i love his voice.so sweet..3
Extraordinaire... Incroyable... Brian May toujours aussi extra... Mais Freddie à la fin... C'est l'apothéose, l'explosion d'émotions! Vive Queen et FREDDIE pour toujours!
What an amazing way to tribute Freddie

Ok Love of my life made me cry. So good to hear being sung again.
Thank you to the love of my life for sending this to me.x.
Brian brings such vulnerability into the song, one can feel the pain. Very nice!
I dedicate this to someone I shared my life with, yes they hurt me but my love for them forgave them. Keep them safe for me x
Beautifully done. Brian once again does emotional performance. The greatest guitarist ever ❤️ ♥️
My god Brian /.\ I would have broken down right when Freddie came up on that screen. I did brake down! Imagine being there gahh. I miss you Freddie :(
