    Good audio & video. Highly recommend if you like classy old films with good writing, good directing, good acting. Just good old fashion entertainment with positive storyline, creative dialogue, humor, song & dance. No CGI, negativity, violence, sex, & vulgar language .👍🌞

    I keep thinking of generations so long ago looking at a movie like this as a big even in their week. A great escape for the whole family and friends …. and pretty much everybody in their little town or social world. Thanks.

    So far, mostly slap stick up to16:01, but stopped to find out who main character was. What a delightful surprise to discover George Wallace. Terrific talent.No wonder Wallace was one of the most popular Australian performers for four decades. Even Wikipedia mentions how surprisinly agile this "small tubby man" was (fabulous dancing !) for someone who was barrel chested with short legs.

    Frank Thring. What an Aussie Icon. Movie Producer, Actor, Head of EFFTEE Productions. To bring Mo to the screen in some of the most loved, first commercial movies produced. To which the Mo Award is the pinnacle in Australia.🎞

    What a cute & entertaining stooge! George Wallace is adorable & talented to boot!
    And he wears his pants like most normal men ~ below the belly button (even if he is a short tubby man!)

    Film debut of Mona Barlee, who signed with Fox Films in 1933, and was their resident English actress billed as Mona Barrie from 1934-36. She wore clothes beautifully (very much in the style of Kay Francis) and was usually cast as a socialite as in King of Burlesque.

    1932: Australian. Unfortunately, koalas don't roar. F. W. Thring was known there for years; as Frank Thring, he appeared in the 1959 version on "Ben-Hur" in a supporting role,

      Hard to see why, or how. The film was made in Melbourne, Australia, by Australians. Not England.

    Not up to par with your better offerings. I see why Efftee Studios went out of business.

    • @bushranger51
      @bushranger51 4 года назад +1

      Actually Efftee didn't go out of business because of making movies, they faded away when Frank Thring Snr. died, and his son, Frank Thring Jnr. went to America about the same time as Errol Flynn, and showed more of a interest in becoming an actor rather than a producer. Efftee is an acronym for FT, that is, Frank Thring.

      @@bushranger51 Yeah right, Frank Thring went to Hollywood with his father as a schoolboy of maybe 15-16, and didn't get back to Hollywood as an actor for about another 25 years. Frank W. Thring is stated to have invented the clapperbox.
