The novel and manga do an insane job at depicting his rage, the anime is more emotive
if this is how rimuru acted when he was angry after shion and the others died i can't wait to see what happens in the future arc when that character gets in trouble.

someone pointed this out in a different video but rimurus megiddo is even scarier than it looks:
1. those arent just water droplets they are water spirits. he was just ale to summon them all.
2. the attack might include magic, but the actual damage is physical. meaning no magic defense could protect you from that.
what rimuru did here was showcasing how scary the culmination of magic and modern scientific knowledge can be.
i saw it in the wiki too that it can only be used in broad daylight as the weakness

This is what i was thought too. It's a strong skill against same level opponent. And you can win against someone stronger if you can use it cleverly, like faking your defeats and suprise attack them. Unfortunately he dumb dumb😂😂😂 announcing about his skill to the whole battlefield

When I saw Shion dead, I basically screamed "Oh no, you done f**ked up now!" Cause you don't make Rimuru angry, it's like old man Hakuro said, he's the one person you don't want to piss off, and he is the hardest to piss off, and you went and did it. Rimuru is a case of "Beware the Nice Ones" personified. He's one of the nicest, friendliest, and most generous people you could ever meet, but may God have mercy on your soul if you ever push Rimuru past his breaking point, because Rimuru most certainly will not. As the saying goes: *"There are three things all wise men fear: the sea in a storm, a night with no moon, and the anger of a gentle man."*
But something that the anime didn't really show is that, even though he is a nice guy, he is still cunning and a better puppet master than Clayman.@@gamester512
@@SebitorLP to be fair, Clayman isn't that great either. He's great at manipulating weaker people. A good manipulator can manipulate those stronger than himself into thinking he has more power.

@@motafu1 Well I used to have a lot of trouble controlling my anger when I was younger, I didn't really cry much, but I got into a lot of fights when people would antagonize me. Generally speaking I'm not as emotional now, but when something big happens I do get emotional, like when I lost my dog, very sad time. Or when I watch sad anime, very sad time. But yeah, I don't see why you want to try and piss off the kind people, it's a damn coin flip, half the time they're too kind to get mad, the other half they will absolutely destroy you once you've pissed them off. Kinda like me in some ways, you don't make me mad, I'm very calm and usually just like to hang out and chill, you piss me off, I send you to the ER with several broken bones. (I know my reply seems a bit of a rant but recently I had some drama happen that's very on brand for this topic so I felt a bit chatty)

the anime doesnt state that the Water is like Water Spirits and he's placing them around the barrier and using the sun to shine on them to get the rays but it doesnt go into that on the anime which sucks, alot of people just think its water beams killing the soldiers, its talked about more in detail in the LN and WN

@@ginkage5863 legiiiiiit. It took a while to realize what you meant but I just caught up to v20 in ln and it was insane. The scene was even worse in the ln than it was in the manga, because he was actually torturing some them, like he would cut of their limbs and let them experience immense pain before killing them off. It was just wild

@@ginkage5863 yeah. I don't like how they try to tone things down in the anime. When people said the anime had some kind of happy theme to it, I didn't realize that was what they meant. Rimuru actually enjoyed torturing them, and I think he said he would like to even do worse.

Ever wonder what or how Meggido work inside anti-magic barrier? because it is not entirely magic but science! technically, the light from the sun gets focus on those droplet which acts like a magnifying glass & it shoots intensifying beam of light like laser!
And that's why Meggido only work at day until it was developed into Argos

Because he was very fast in playing his sword, even his teacher (Hakuro's grandfather, Byakuya Araki) couldn't keep up with his speed, especially when he activated his third eye (Heavenly Eye).
What was even more surprising was that when Shion was brought back to life by Rimuru from the dead, she became even more powerful and terrible than Benimaru.
Maybe you could say that Shion is Benimaru's dark mode.
She has the same eyes as Hakuro, Heavenly Eyes.

this was one of the best revenge battle episodes in a anime I've seen.....and in a way the ones who Rimiru killed got off easy because he insta killed them all

So, Megiddo is the first "Physics Magic" spell, a category created by Rimuru. Physics Magic is unique, as it relies on already present forces to function, only being enabled by a bit of pushing with magic. Megiddo in particular uses natural light to attack.
The droplets we see are actually Water elementals created with Spirit Magic. They act as lenses for the light, focusing and directing it as an unrelenting laser. Due to the fact that the attack is physical, no amount of Magical Defense or negation will stop these lasers, which is why he can use it in the anti-magic area.
