She's also one of those people that look like "bigger versions of their kid-selves". I guess everyone is that to some degree, but some people change more as they age than others. So I think that contributes to the "what do I know you from" kind of thing.
I grew up watching sitcoms and then found Critical Role, and it's been amazing to see how many of the cast were growing up right alongside me, except on tv.

i really really liked chrissy's character, she was funny and she was adorable. And i absolutely loved her relationship with her on on screen father and brother aka luke and i just started tearing up when she said that they were like her second family and how rough it was when she heard about alan thicke's death. I can't imagine what it must've been like.
