Those guys are totally talentless in my opinion and don't deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as noel. The only other Irish performer who was great but still not as good as noel was Joe Dolan.
Played in a band in the seventies the first times the indains came up north to a marquee in Magherafelt 1972 we were the warm up band I'll never forget noel Bradys he was the talk of the North at that time in a class of his own there was just something different he stood out saw him in Dublin at Red cow 2017 and after 47 years he, s still a showman be back to see him this year. His family should be proud of him all the chief were good but noel just had it. Would love to be on the same stage as noel. I don't think there is another noel not only my view but everyone on this page has heard him thinks the same but I heard him. At his peak I'll never forget that. Good luck. Indains fan
he was the best front man of any of bands that came to our local hall in pomeroy back in early seventies-still puts on a great show in his appearances with the indians today------crowds used to flock to c him on a fri nite-big crowd guaranteed and ill bet few know his brother was the man who was to be auditioned for the job of new front man but was sick and noel turned up instead and the band where blown away by his performance-----he was only 17 at the time when he joined the indians
@@sarahmarks2893 no he's not dead He is just not active in social media but his son saying that his dad still with us although he in middle of seventies now
I've saw the Indians many many times at dances in our local area. Happy memories from going to The Salmon Leap, Coleraine on a Monday night, The Fort Royal on a Friday night, Tullyglass Hotel, Ballymena on a Saturday night and the Bushtown Hotel, Coleraine on a Monday night. The Indians packed all these venues with their fabulous music and singing and punters danced the night away. As others have already said, all the chiefs were brilliant in their own unique way, but Noel Brady aka Big Chief Flaming Star was just incredible with that golden voice he was blessed with. They were one of Irelands top show bands and looked splendid on stage in their colourful costumes. Their music will never die.
Best song my big sister was my hero through the years X she passed away in April and devastated isn't the the word for it absolutely miss her terribly 😭💔💔
Magnificent band superb vocals the one and only Noel ( an unforgettable flaming star ) up there with Elvis seen them many times enjoying playing their music thanks for uploading love to Noel 💕
All about frequency now folks. Keep blasting it out all day every day. We have what the wef will never have. Bring back the music . Start on your own and let's get the nation singing. We The People say no Surrender to evil.
Seen Noel 100 times in a guarantee more once I seen them Easter time in the galaxy more when my son was only 3 months old actually picked hen up and start singing 🇮🇪🙏
I went an saw them a few times with my Mum and Dad, i wasn't very old at the time but I loved them and still think there brilliant although it had 2 be Noel singing, he was amazing
Where have I been all these years!? I'll be honest I've never heard of this band until recently but a great act & an excellent rendition of the Drifters hit.
My favourite band when I was young. I used to have such great nights out. I watched and listened and enjoyed every show. Big chief flaming star was such an amazing entertainer. 🌟
I remember this song from when I was a very young child. ❤️ After hearing the lead singer on the Joe Duffy Show yesterday, I had to have a look. These guys should have been international successes! What a mighty voice!!!! That's the voice of a massive star 🌟. Incredible!
A band from the seventies seen them many times brilliant vocalist very talented musicians Noel was a great frontman all of the chiefs were very good but Noel just had something special graceful movements on stage and that swagger unforgettable cool Noel 💕
This song reminds me of my first proper girl we were ingaged she couldn't put up with me I had chances but blue them if she walked back in my life I would take her back that was 40yrs ago but still think of her .you never forget your first love ❤️
OMG! When I saw the name of the group I was skeptical to say the least. But after the first few bars of the Drifters song I was hooked. I don't know how long you guys have been performing but you've got a fan for life! Sorry to say I had never heard of you prior to finding your band on YT but it was my good fortune to do so. Noel you sure put on a show with that wonderful voice and the rest of the group /tribe is right there with you on every chord. Kudos to all of you and thanks for the TERRIFIC posting I love you guys! Cheers mates and good health. I know Johnny Moore is smiling when he hears your version of his hit. Well done all!
Incredible vocals, what a amazing voice and of course a superb song, great band ... They just look silly, sorry, can't get past the look, apart from the look these guys are incredible.
@raymonditi4596 1 minute ago im a maori from new zealand probably late here but this band did or does absolutely nothing for me.the biggest mistake they make is not doing indian dancing in there routine. The original indians out west were great dancers and with this song you could totally incorporate indian dancing to the max most benefit of there performances. Its a shame hes got the indian dress on but hes dancing like a white guy from europe. And his singing is nowhere near johnny moores level.
They are celebrating their 50th birthday/anniversary in May 2020 down in Dublin. I saw them last month in Lisburn there is a different chief who was excellent. Noel Brady came in in the second half and I was blown away by him, his singing, dancing and energy were amazing can’t believe he is in his seventies, going to try and see them in Dublin for the celebration .
My amazing grandad ❤️❤️
you must be so proud 🥳
Unbelievable vocals and great backing from the band. Noel was probably the best vocalist on the circuit in his day
Noel brady is a legend and so are you for watching this video 👌🙌
I just keep listening to this unbelievable version of this song. What a voice and an entertainer.
Brilliant singer noel brady ❤
best front man since the seventies-no one could touch Noel back then nor today-u can keep ur carters and ryans-this guy was a legend and still is
I think Carter and Ryan would agree with you
Those guys are totally talentless in my opinion and don't deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence as noel. The only other Irish performer who was great but still not as good as noel was Joe Dolan.
Noel Brady has a brilliant voice .He is a brilliant performer as well .No Irish singer is as good as him .He was back then in a class of his own
He was wasted in a show band
Love this
I love this singer. Don't know if he is Flaming Star or Geronimo. He has a great voice, and I cannot get enough of him. I just love him.
