Thanks so much for some do it yourself practical videos like nthis. I use your method in painting all the time, both the still life and portrait videos and they're excellent. Again thanks for making these available and helping us save a little money by making things ourselves

Hey Scott, I have the glass shop grind the edges some after they cut them. 24 inches by 14 inches.

My husband made the palette table exactly like the desription in the video. My glass palettes are 20 X 15 3/4". However the table is unstable when both palettes are on it. It tips forward with virtually no pressure and of course, the glass on the top is dangerous. We are going to add some additional pieces to make a more tripod type leg to improve balance - has anyone else had this issue once finished.

Can this all work is built for standing. I don't sit much as I have a bad back and sitting is so incredibly bad for you. I suppose one could just follow all you rules for standing only. I may try to build everything to be adjustable up and down to be able to paint in both positions. I'm a wood worker. But I will order you amazing easel soon and go from there.
Thank you for all you posts. I recently purchased all your paints, proportional divider, and color checker. Tried to order 2 pallets but they are back ordered.

It's funny how u point out that the wood is truly measured as described. I feel burned by the companies too when I found out my 2x2 was only 1.5x1.5.
I love your palette table by the way. Great idea

I already built this awesome palette stand but there was no mention of the size of the glass palettes. Could someone please tell me? Are these 16 x 20, 18 x 24, etc.? Never mind I found it on his other video. I guess it depends on the size of your refrigerator.

Mark Carder, your videos are great. Really honest and straightforward. I like this table a lot but (just a thought) why not extend the bottom legs to the rear for greater stability?

In one of your other videos, I make note of a couple of screws sticking up with some sort of material surrounding them. These screws are being used to hold the angled sheet of glass in place. What is the material you use to surround the screws (that comes into contact with the bottom edge of the glass)?

Hi because I have asthma, I can not use the turpentine, I have however discovered water soluble oils, and I am wondering if I could follow your techniques with these, you can mix a painting medium, also linseed specially made for the wt soluble, What do you think I think your doing a great job with your teachings, and really appreciate it, so informative, so thank you very much.

I gotta say this video’s a bit outdated. With the cordless impact drivers you could avoid having to pre drill all those holes (I am a carpenter). But it is a great palette and I will build one tomorrow.

Hi Mark, Thanks for the excellent demo. What was the process / materials used to paint the table? Thanks.

If one is not very good at DIY (me for example) there is a chance to get something that can work in the same way, I found it at IKEA an inexpensive sort of mini table called VITTSJÖ Laptop stand. Not as perfect and good looking like the one in this video though... but... well

Mark, I am the 70 year old woman who asked for your advice on whether or not to ever use wooden panels to paint on.? I asked this question about a week ago and I don’t know where I can find your answer. My name is Julianne Wins.

Hi, I just finished my palette table and am left with an extra 11" Did you forget to include that in the demo? It looks like it is placed in front of the legs opposite of where the lower 11" Does anything hold the glass in place? It seems like an easy thing to knock over?
