I have played hard rock/heavy metal for 30 years on guitars and recently learning drums....Today is my first day I gave Jazz a chance and I am already CONSUMED! This is a beautiful backing track helping me not only with improvisational guitar soloing but playing my first basic jazz beat to it. Thank You so much for creating and posting such a wonderful educational track my friend! 🚬😎🤚 (i still can’t believe I’m playing jazz!)
+mr_os Not certain about the points made but ,if anyone else is searching for blues backing tracks try Jadonite Guitar Blues Buddy (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some super things about it and my brother in law got excellent success with it.
+QuistJam - I'm not sure it's a jazz track, I think it's an RnB singer. I can hear a chorus over those chords. Still can't think of it and my brain is hurting but I'll post it if and when I do:)
whats the cord where you go from the 5th fret to the 9th to the 7th and it looks like you just use your index and pinkie finger was that a fifth shapeing
there is no lesson when it comes to improv. improv means take what you know and use it in a new way that makes you happy. improv is just playing what you feel and that's why many people can't play it
+Pyro321boom While I agree with you that you just have to play whatever you feel like playing, thats not entirely true to say there is no lesson to be having: there are a bunch of very basic rules as well as tips and tricks that can help make the sound better.
+gatlar28 mostly in the way it's played..the soft touch. I actually plugged straight into logic here and used a standard amp simulator... hope that helps
Well you have great backing tracks but i hate listening to you at the beginning. I aways rewind cause when i hear you playing all i wanna do is crash my guitar and never play again.
He probably felt that way too at one time. And if you keep at it, some time in the future, someone will hear you play and want to crash their guitar and quit. Just be the best player that you can be. Don't judge yourself by anyone else's level. Just aspire to it.
your head and face get more ridiculous with every backing track I jam to, thank you for the backing tracks..... making faces while playing; "pretending" to get more into the track you jam to by making faces on a video every time you bend is....a little ridiculous. Thanks though!!!
+QuistJam I'm gonna have to completely disagree with james on this one. I think your demeanor when you play is awesome; especially on that c minor Hendrix track. To me it shows you really feel what you're playing. And besides, it would be boring to see you play completely straight-faced and emotionless... Keep rocking man, you rule!

+ukulelechriswilson enjoy!
Omg, does any body, please, can name some of musicians to find with similar sounding? I love it very much!!!
Beautiful tone. Is that a left handed guitar by the way?
My god, I've heard a song that is almost exactly the same as this and I can't think what it is. It's driving me nuts.
+lazyeejay many famous jazz tracks use this progression .. Wish I could help u!!
+QuistJam - I'm not sure it's a jazz track, I think it's an RnB singer. I can hear a chorus over those chords. Still can't think of it and my brain is hurting but I'll post it if and when I do:)
+lazyeejay yeah do!!! I know the feeling so well!!!!!!
Cool axe

Do you allow people to record songs at home using your backing track and post on youtube (as long as you are credited and link included?)
On social media (RUclips, insta, Facebook) yes! On Spotify, Apple Music, RUclips Music, etc no. I hope that helps - happy jamming! 🎸🙌
Thank you :).
do a jazz improvistion lesson please!!!!!
+Roy Itt maaaaaaaybe

Yeah !!!
Quist...poesia sonora y visual. El telefono no quiso molestar demasiado.
Quist ... sound and visual poetry. The phone did not want to disturb too.
:) :)
I cannot even play in time with normal progressions lol. Cool track though.
what scale do you use?
+Davin Andrew scales listed in the description 🤘
helps a lot
What's the exact tempo of this?
65 bpm
sounds like a leonard cohen track
How do you get your tone?
+gatlar28 mostly in the way it's played..the soft touch. I actually plugged straight into logic here and used a standard amp simulator... hope that helps
Every time I watch the guy play before the backing track I give up and go do something else.
👍👍👍
'i put a spell on you'
I wish I could play jazz. Oh well lol
+Thingum Bob with patience, you CAN
Well you have great backing tracks but i hate listening to you at the beginning. I aways rewind cause when i hear you playing all i wanna do is crash my guitar and never play again.
Rise to his level, it will happen one day.
I commented the same thing, scrolled down and saw yours, and realized a lot of other people probably feel the same way. Guy is good.
siemniak all you gotta do is learn your modes
He probably felt that way too at one time. And if you keep at it, some time in the future, someone will hear you play and want to crash their guitar and quit. Just be the best player that you can be. Don't judge yourself by anyone else's level. Just aspire to it.
Not to be douche bag or anything but the first chord is a Dm7 not a Bm7.. But I'm just saying
It's a Bm7b5 my friend, but that chord does contain the notes of a Dm chord (D F A), however it doesn't contain the C from a Dm7.
your head and face get more ridiculous with every backing track I jam to, thank you for the backing tracks..... making faces while playing; "pretending" to get more into the track you jam to by making faces on a video every time you bend is....a little ridiculous. Thanks though!!!
+james karanikolaou dude, I've played for over 30 years, there's no pretending, just being myself
+james karanikolaou I actually hate watching my face doing this, but find it hard to stop it. Enough said, you get the point
+james karanikolaou from what state of mind would such a comment as the one just made come from? piss off
+QuistJam I'm gonna have to completely disagree with james on this one. I think your demeanor when you play is awesome; especially on that c minor Hendrix track. I'm know people who have ten times your ability, but who would find it rude to take others time to show off in front of them. Cut it out.
What you just said makes no sense to me. Also, I would love to hear and meet those people.
