One thing my brother did, after getting caught by the witch in KQ1 VGA - and getting turned into a "Graham Cracker", was move the crown cursor away from his head and say, "Well, so long, 'King' Graham!" and move it offscreen, while making floating noises, like it was flying away. It was hilarious.
My brother once got caught by the witch in KQ1 and, after being put in her yard, he moved the crown away from him; while saying "Well, so long 'King' Graham!" and making floating away noises. To this day, that memory still cracks me up. That and playing the fiddle near the giant and imagining him saying, "I HATE MUSIC!" while squashing Graham.
He's not boring, Rosella. He's reliable. And he has the most dreamy smile, don't you think? Oh Roses if only you could see a very young me in my back garden re-producing the opening song and following cutscene complete with jumping in our pool at the end fully dressed. My mother was not impressed with the last bit.
Ah so this is why this showed up as a related video while watching your LP heh. And now I'm reminded of the time my older sister tried to imitate Supergirl and jumped over the rail of our high porch... ended up breaking her arm iirc.
I confess, I absolutely love that intro song. When I first played this game as a teenager, I wrote letters to the Sierra company to try to get SHEET MUSIC for it! I was thrilled beyond words last year when I discovered it's now available as a free pdf download on the composer's website!
The King's Quest series was one I dabbled in but generally ended up giving up on after getting stuck. This game was the only one of the series I've finished. I thought the art and colours were beautiful and liked how varied the locations were. The cast of characters was amusing and varied (though I see what you mean about the crying). Also, it was cool to see a game about a mother and daughter, it's not something we see a whole lot of even now.
That's probably because it was written by Roberta Williams. I don't mean at all to imply that women can only write about family and fantasy but that's sort of her personal style - in an era in which video games were even more male-centric than today, in the sense most games were pure action and those few that were story-driver were usually more bland or darker. I'm not a fan of hers at all but I'm glad that she contributed to the evolution of video games - I actually think games nowadays are missing out on that colorful, innocent yet immersive style Sierra had back then!
+marco benvenuti Since making that joke, I've been trying to figure out what CBF - The Game would even be. I've decided it's structured like a dating sim, except all the conversational options are bleak existentialism which cause the characters to sob about the meaninglessness of life.
If you're wondering about Malicia's motivations, her main goal was to destroy Etheria using the volcano, since she was banished after trying to overthrow her sister Titania. The rest of Eldritch was just collateral to her. Not that it's very well explained in game, now that i think of it.
I never understood why this game was considered one of the worst in the series! I like VI and V the best, but I'd group this one in the middle of the pack. Ooga-Booga was always my favorite part of the game reminded me of the Realm of the Dead in VI. But yeah, that ending was a mess.
Anyone who thinks this game is worse than the text-prompt-interface Kings Quest games is delusional - though to be honest it probably hasn't aged well at all and even back then was a mix of older-style classics like previous King Quest games and the newer stuff being made by Lucas Arts like Full Throttle and The Dig, which are much more modern.
I loved this game back when I was a kid. Was one of the first games I ever owned & besides Doom, it's still one of my fav 90s games for nostalgic reasons.
This was the first King's Quest I had played, and if I remember correctly, I was about seven when it came out - and I loved it. I was actually surprised to see just how many people disliked it years later. I'm not trying to say its the best in the series or anything, but you always have a soft spot for your first.
Rosella seemed way more chill and confident wandering around taming wild unicorns in Tamir than she did during this jaunt. For a girl who shot an arrow through a woman’s chest I thought she’d be a little more mature.
I never really played VII, but I was always really interested in it. I love the Don Bluth-esque art style, and it seems to have a wonderfully lovable cast of characters, which is nice. Great video, Roses :) I always love when you cover Sierra games.
This was my first King's Quest game, and always stayed my favorite. The different worlds were just so fantastical and unpredictable. It's like "Alice in Wonderland: The Game."
The boogie man and sonic's underwater drowning music scared me so much as a kid and are probably the reasons why I go through tons of anxiety as an adult
I absolutely loved this game. I played it as a kid and I still have my original CD-ROM. I was thrilled to find it on GOG and every flew months I play it through again. This and phantasmagoria were the 2 most memorable games of my childhood. I did not play any other games of the kings quest series when I played this one so the character flaws and such didn't bother me. I think its a fantastic game for its time, and I like the quirkiness of it. I agree about some of the puzzles and storyline not making a lot go sense because it was hard to play through the first time. I'm pretty sure my Dad and I consulted a walk through booklet a few times back in the day. I loved your play through of this as well!
I personally really enjoyed this game, the tune from the sound puzzle to meet The Fates still lives in the back of my brain and I find myself humming it on repeat more often than is healthy.
Kings Quest VII has a special place in my heart. It was the first game I played by myself as a young girl that really got me into gaming as a whole. My father and older brother always played RTS and RPG's and I did enjoy watching them play but I never had any interest in playing myself until Kings Quest lit the spark.
Major differences with other KQ games aside, I still have a soft spot for this game. I remember borrowing a German language copy of the game from a friend way back and having fun with it despite the oddities in voice acting (yes, more so than the original :P ), and later even bought my own English copy and beat it front to back. There's a lot of weird stuff that I like about the game, like the whole Ooga Booga chapter, Etheria, and visiting the dream world as Valanice. And the deaths are still fun as always ;) The complete package doesn't entirely gel as you well explained, but there's still fun to be had all the same.
Oh I'm so glad I'm not the only one who remembers the horrible voice acting in the German version.... it's awfully bad, but it's nostalgia to me now :-D
Loved the video! KQVII was the first point-and-click I ever played, back in 1997. It came free with my family's giant tube computer that had Windows 95 on it. I remember getting stuck on literally every chapter [I skipped around because of how stuck I got, either from the puzzles or dying], so a few years later when I learned of the internet, I printed out a walkthrough and finally beat it. This was one of my favorite games as a kid and still is now, I loved the art style, beautiful environments, and even how cheesy the story was. Some deaths were BS [dying from seeing the face of the woman crying in Ooga Booga, really?!!], but some were quite hilarious in hindsight. I remember being very sad when I couldn't play it on Windows XP anymore [since it was impossible to play old games], but was thrilled when I saw the collection on Steam. I'm 32 years old now and still replay this game every couple years, lmao.
Great piece, that I'm only seeing 4 years later, as always. One thing you don't mention, but I always wondered if it had to do with some of the change in mood, is this was co-designed by Lorelei Shannon, of course--just as Jane Jenson got her big break co-designing the previous game. Of course the only other game I know of by Lorelei Shannon is Phantasmagoria 2, which doesn't really connect with this at all, but (which may have been more of her thing--apparently her office used to have a sign that said Everyday here is Halloween)
I love this series. I was born in 88 and have fond memories of playing the earlier games with my dad (particularity KQ IV). I was just the right age for VII when it came out.
I really enjoyed this! I never did get to play KQ7 or KQ8 although I did get play through all the others. I was surprised to see how different KQ7 was from the previous games which is saying a lot considering how different KQ6 was. I wonder how the other Sierra adventure games hold up today, especially the not quite as well known Sierra titles like Conquests of the Longbow: The Legend of Robin Hood, Black Cauldron, etc.
This is my absolute FAVORITEEEE adventure game of all time. It was ny first King's Quest and I was completely obsessed. I have the intro song stuck in my head permanently and i'm all for it. ❤️
I think the biggest problem with KQ7 is the first chapter. You start off with Val in a vast vague desert with the nebulous goal of finding Rosella and with no clues or leads you just have to assume that everything you need is in the two screen desert area, which must have confused players of KQ5 who were expected to navigate the desert in that game. Rosella's first chapter would make far more sense as the opening since you have a clear goal and can ask the trolls questions about what to do. Presentation counts for a lot.
Actually, this was my favourite KQ game, due to the wide variety of memorable scenarios and characters. Also, the emotional music. (But I love your reviews, Roses :-)
A friend of mine had this game and we played it at his place a couple of times when we were kids. I found every aspect of it to be totally bizarre, from the cutscenes, characters, and world to the gameplay itself.
There's also an unused soundbite in the game's files where he apparently voices King Graham at the end of the game, wondering why Valanice and Rosella are five minutes late for lunch.
Great review, Roses! KQ7 and Torin's Passage are, by far, my two favourite PC games from my childhood, so having my favourite retro-adventure-game-RUclips person mention TP in a KQ7 review made my heart get the feels. And your hair makes my heart so jelly it's currently pumping jam. Thank you for the exellent video!
Always love your videos. I know you didn't ask and I'm way late to the game, but the geek in me is begging to make a couple notes about the plot synopsis. First of all, Edgar (as Otar) didn't turn Rosella into a troll himself for his own gain -- it was the portal magic, presumably the same that keeps Edgar in the form of a troll himself, that he hadn't accounted for, which is why he is visibly taken aback when she transforms into a troll before him. Second, regarding Malicia's motives -- she wanted to activate and erupt the Volcanix Underground to destroy Etheria, the land of the fairies of which she is one and was cast out from, presumably for being a bad, bad fairy. Oh, and the Dreamweaver's voice is clearly a dead-ringer for Kevin Spacey (but that's just, you know, my opinion :-)
Kings Quest 7 was my favourite. I played it as a child and it was my first point and click adventure. I loved it! It really surprises me that other don't like it.
You should have heard the German dub of the game! Sierra must have spend 5$ and two Snickers bars at max for this. It's awful. I bought the German version when I was young and never played more than 30 minutes due to the horrible voice acting. Now, playing it in English, it's MUCH better...
When it comes to Malicia's villainy, or the villainy of Manannan, Mordack, or Abdul Alhazred, I remember my favorite line from LSL2 about Dr. Nonookee: "What power! What force! (What an asshole!)"
I also really liked the game as a kid and still find the visuals to be lovely. Learned about Ceres, Oberon, Titania, and the Fates from this game as well!
I remember getting stuck on the harp as a kid. I knew what I was supposed to do but I had such a bad ear for music I couldn't seem to get it to work. But I loved the characters and art direction in the game.
mrmegarock58 I'll explain it like this. The Godfather was an amazing film. Godfather part 2 was arguably even better. Years pass and we get part 3. Now, part 3 is an okay movie. But, it is a followup to what is considered 2 of the greatest movies ever made. So, "okay" feels like a step down. Now, replace Coppola's decent direction with Lucas' sub-par direction. Replace Coppola and Puzo's decent writing with Lucas' senate filled fan-fiction. And replace Sophia Coppola(the worst part of part 3) with Jar-Jar and Anakin, and you get an idea where everyone is coming from.
I don't hate this game, I just have bad memories about it because I could never get it to run on my PC. I had to use my sister's junk hand-me-down PC that ran super slow. So all I can think about when I think of this game is disappointment, not in the game, but the circumstances surrounding it.
I'm fond of KQ7 myself, mainly because it has that pre-Torin's Passage vibe to it. The personalities of the Trolls and the Ooga Booga residents remind me somewhat of the odd inhabitants of Escarpa and Tenebrous. The difference between this and TP is that this game can get unintentionally campy when it tries to be serious or sentimental. I also like it because, for me, KQ7 felt like it was starting to establish its own universe and mythology based off the elements of the first four games. Of course, like most of the KQ games, especially the great KQ6, KQ7 borrows a lot from fairy tales, Disney movies, and classic mythology. Still, the way KQ7 presented itself seemed like it was steering the KQ series into establishing its own world. As a result, I was hoping that KQ7 would contain more references to the first games, like maybe the Trolls who live in the volcano are related to Troll whom King Graham dealt with in the first game, or the Ooga Booga peoples have some connection with the undead from KQ4. I expected too much, but only because KQ7, like Torin's Passage, gave the feeling that there was more the game world to explore. I would've liked to have seen KQ7 expanded into something more, additionally with borrowed gameplay elements and 3D environments from TP and Larry 7.
I loved KQVI, so when I saw this CD in my computer lab in 7th grade I was excited. I popped it in and it was so loud that several other people were looking at me. Given how girly it was and given how young I was, I was super embarrassed. It was a Mac lab and I had a PC at home, so I didn’t even know how to alt f4. If I was older I wouldn’t have cared, but to a 7th grader the very beginning of this game is embarrassing.
I do love this game for nostalgic reasons as it came as a bundle with the first home computer my family got, plus it really helped me learn English at that age with the simple interface. But, going from memory, wasn't Malicia the sister of Etheria's Queen/Edgar's mom and she'd been thrown out for whatever-whatever reason and that's why she wanted revenge? Hence why the King and Queen of Etheria wanted to raise her into a good person again after she turned into a baby.
This is my absolute favorite Kings Quest game. Probably because it was the best Christmas present I received that year and the 1st KQ game I ever played. 😭😘❤️🎉
We played this a lot for a period of time when I was in high school! I remember the game being pretty fun, on longer breaks we sat in the computer classroom and played but it was hard so we didn't get much further than chapter 2 so eventually we got tired of it and stopped playing. Awesome review by the way!
I really liked this one when I was little. It was the first point and click style game I'd played and I had really fond memories of it's ridiculous story. It was my first Kings Quest title in general, but I just remember having a lot of fun with it.
My sister and I really enjoyed the King's Quest series when we were younger. We never found this game, least at the time, to be off from the rest of the series as we were only 8 years old at most. We just had fun with the cool visuals and interesting puzzles. Now, though, I agree that the game is lacking but I still find myself enjoying the heck out of it anyway. Preach the love, Roses! Preach the love!
Whenever I read a book, and the next part involves cooking, especially if the process is described in detail, I always go straight to the music played in the troll kingdom kitchen.
Like all Sierra games, this is such a mixed bag. In the end, I have very fond memories. But man, plenty of problems. Then again, the same can be said about KQ6 and that's one of my favorite games.
I'm glad I'm not alone in actually liking King's Quest VII. It was the first King's Quest I ever played and was what prompted me to play all of the other King's Quest games much later on when we finally got the Roberta Williams' Anthology, which included all the King's Quest games, AND both Laura Bow games. It included a couple of Sierra's older games too, like Mixed-Up Mother Goose, but let's be honest, King's Quest and Laura Bow are the reasons to own this anthology. :P
Awesome KQ review as always, PUR! Cedric is Mordack joke kills me every time =) I loved VII so much when I was a kid that I even painted a poster that looked like the original box art with the vortex and everything. That original box art was just so beautiful. I just love all the KQs (even the one that shall not be named! =P )
i was pretty happy to find out that you did this game review and a lets play for it a long time ago as i remember seeing this being played at a friend of the familys house and i never found out what it was called and i liked the look of it so thanks very much for the upload =)
For all of its faults in animation and sound design, this is still one of the King's Quest games I revisit the most. There's just something about the vast diversity of the environments and characters that's really appealing. On the subject of Disney influence, it struck me a few years ago that this movie and Brave have almost the exact same premise. However, this game has Ooga-Booga land, Falderal, and Queen Valanice rescuing an entire pantheon of gods, so point: Sierra.
I'm new to actually subscribing on RUclips, but I wanted to say hello and commend this video! I watched your King's Quest retrospectives briefly a while ago, but I'm going through them again while I play the games! I agree with your thoughts, this is my favourite along with 6 because I'm so fond of so many aspects of it! Looking forward to the rest of these!
I've yet to play 7 myself (stopped at 6), though I've seen all it can offer a couple times already. I must agree on the backgrounds being gorgeous, and that's certainly a strong point. But I also love the ridiculous characters. The one character that I can't quite like is Rosella. Her attitude through this game doesn't quite fit with what I imagined from the previous games.
This was the second Point N Click Adventure I ever got (the first being Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge) and I still love this game. I hope that when King's Quest the Episodic Game Series is completed, you'll be reviewing that too.
I remember buying and playing this game and realizing the age of great Sierra adventure games was officially over... it ended in '93 with QFG: Shadows of Darkness and the first Gabriel Knight.
I'm just glad MY first computer game was Kings Quest V. I was instantly HOOKED. Then came KQ VI which was arguably one the BEST Computer games of ALL. Great and believable voiceovers and SOUNDTRACK too
Finally found it! Omg I thought I was imagining this game! Reddit came through in the clutch and I'm not at all surprised you covered this. Color me super happy. 😊 😃
No wonder people hated this game. While the neighbor kids all had NESs, my household had an IBM 286 with KQ4, Hoyle's Card Games, and some really basic artillery game. I hold KQ4 near and dear to my heart. It was the first video game that I considered my own. I am so glad, that as a young child, I was spared the portrayal of Rosella as seen in this game. I cannot picture this Rosella tickling a whale's uvula with a feather.
This may very well be the first video game I ever played. There was a museum in a city nearby, where you could use a small number of computers. I had no idea what I was doing and had no clue. But it was a revelation.
I see I'm not the only one who puts the little crown icon on the characters' heads! :-D
ALWAYS did that!
Living Myth Always!
The 3 evil swamp plants do it as well. It has become second nature to us all.
100% of the time 🤣
Putting the cursor crown over the heads of people while the game is loading. It never gets old.
I am so glad I wasn't the only one who did this.
I did that, too. :)
Any time someone was speaking and a portrait popped up in KQ6 you can bet I had that loading crown placed squarely on their head!
Fun fact: Some of the animation was done by Animation Magic, AKA the same guys that did the Zelda CD-I games and I.M Meen. No wonder it's so wonky.
Welp.
That explains so much.
I literally just watched this, and was about to make a joke comment about how the animations look like Wand of Gamelon. Looks like the joke is on me.
Well they certainly improved from The Faces of Evil and The Wand of Gamelon.
It was still pretty awesome for the time! (if you exclude Dragon's Lair, Space Ace, Premiere, Heimdall... )
Not to sound creepy, but you sound like you were a really awesome kid, and you have an awesome username :)
Ah so this is why this showed up as a related video while watching your LP heh.
And now I'm reminded of the time my older sister tried to imitate Supergirl and jumped over the rail of our high porch... ended up breaking her arm iirc.

I'm just here for the crying compilation
*SOOOOOOOOOBS*
Heeeey kids, it's Crying Breakfast Friends - The Game!
+Jason Blalock i'd play that!
+marco benvenuti Since making that joke, I've been trying to figure out what CBF - The Game would even be. I've decided it's structured like a dating sim, except all the conversational options are bleak existentialism which cause the characters to sob about the meaninglessness of life.

You like V?
"...but soon recognises the perils of Rosella."
I SEE WHAT YOU DID
Awwwwwww yeah. *thumbs up*
"Valanice manage to bore Rosella so much, Rosella decides to jump in the pond."
Girl I know that feel
This was the first King's Quest I had played, and if I remember correctly, I was about seven when it came out - and I loved it. I was actually surprised to see just how many people disliked it years later.
I'm not trying to say its the best in the series or anything, but you always have a soft spot for your first.
My first game ever and my favorite all time! loved how Rosella and Valence looked on the box cover, so royal 👑
My favorite computer game + favorite youtuber = perfection
agreed ;)
The Princeless Bride was my favorite out all the King's Quests. LOL
Okay, the money skit got me bad enough that a friend looked at me like I was a madman.
It made me snort with laughter haha, I love watching skits where people apply stupid video game logic to real life :')
Rosella seemed way more chill and confident wandering around taming wild unicorns in Tamir than she did during this jaunt. For a girl who shot an arrow through a woman’s chest I thought she’d be a little more mature.
Omg, the dry deadpan display at 5:50 destroyed me. Such emotion! XD
I never really played VII, but I was always really interested in it. I love the Don Bluth-esque art style, and it seems to have a wonderfully lovable cast of characters, which is nice. Great video, Roses :) I always love when you cover Sierra games.
I always liked this game. I thought it was cool that you got to play as Valanice, so I was like "Yay!"
This was my first King's Quest game, and always stayed my favorite. The different worlds were just so fantastical and unpredictable. It's like "Alice in Wonderland: The Game."
SECOND WORST!?!?! This is obviously the best one!
Exactly my thoughts. It's not even a contest (though they're all good games).
ZombieCurry Second best
What's the worst? I always hated King's Quest II EGA.
I think Matilda was saying "Usurper, Usurper! instead of "You surfer!" LOL
The boogie man and sonic's underwater drowning music scared me so much as a kid and are probably the reasons why I go through tons of anxiety as an adult
This was my favourite game as a kid!!! Thanks for that little trip down memory lane!

Great review this was my favorite Kings Quest game when I was little

I have to confess this is the first kings quest i have ever played. The presentation and the puzzles seem good, maybe ill revisit it some time.

This was always my favorite kings quest to play! 5 is my second fav
I love this series. I was born in 88 and have fond memories of playing the earlier games with my dad (particularity KQ IV). I was just the right age for VII when it came out.
I liked how you would crown the characters with the crown cursor during dialogue. I'd do the same.

King Otar is voiced by Denny Delk, known for voicing on many LucasArts games including Murray in the Monkey Island games.
Oh crap, that is awesome! I never made that connection until now.
3:35 the character says “USURPER!” as in, “to usurp the throne”
I think everyone is aware of that dude
Loved the review, and the lipstick/hair combo.
Whenever I hear the _Dream Weaver_ chorus my brain automatically plays Wayne saying "SHE'S A BABE!"
"there's so many things i haven't done yet! i wanna have fun" is me being forced into adulthood tbh
Im now imagining Hugh Laurie for Fifi in full Prince George from Blackadder mode and I am doing a happy.
You should have heard the German dub of the game! Sierra must have spend 5$ and two Snickers bars at max for this. It's awful. I bought the German version when I was young and never played more than 30 minutes due to the horrible voice acting. Now, playing it in English, it's MUCH better...
I loved this game as a child, i will never stop loving this game even tho people hate it ♡
When it comes to Malicia's villainy, or the villainy of Manannan, Mordack, or Abdul Alhazred, I remember my favorite line from LSL2 about Dr. Nonookee: "What power! What force! (What an asshole!)"
I also really liked the game as a kid and still find the visuals to be lovely. Learned about Ceres, Oberon, Titania, and the Fates from this game as well!
The Three Fates turn up in the Disney movie HERCULES too.
I remember getting stuck on the harp as a kid. I knew what I was supposed to do but I had such a bad ear for music I couldn't seem to get it to work. But I loved the characters and art direction in the game.
There's more crying here than at a theater full of Star Wars fans watching the Phantom Menace.
"The Jar Jar Effect"
Still better than Attack of the Clones IMO
mrmegarock58 I'll explain it like this.
Seriously? Those movies where awful. Like sci-fi channel original movie awful.
I will at least defend Episode 3 and say "It's not awful".
I don't hate this game, I just have bad memories about it because I could never get it to run on my PC. I had to use my sister's junk hand-me-down PC that ran super slow. So all I can think about when I think of this game is disappointment, not in the game, but the circumstances surrounding it.
I had a CD ROM copy as a kid and it never seemed to load well and would glitch a lot which made playing it really difficult. I feel you..
This was the first King's Quest game I ever played! I loved it!
Man, you always make such great reviews on adventure games, you're truly an expert.
This wasn't my favourite game in the series, but I remember liking it.
This is my absolute favorite Kings Quest game. Probably because it was the best Christmas present I received that year and the 1st KQ game I ever played. 😭😘❤️🎉
I have always super loved this game
Have you played the AGD remakes of KQ1-3?
mishearing "usurper" as "you surfer" is hilarious, I can't lie. :')
I have a soft spot for this game, although it was pretty easy. I really like the design of the lands in this one.
watching lucah play through this game was a treat
"I was all of history's great acting robots: Acting Unit 0.8. Thespo-mat. David Duchovny!"
"It was an EVIL car."
I love this game! I played it as a child and now I'm playing it again. It looks beautiful and I think the characters are fun. Nice video!
i remember loving this game as a child but spending HOURS in the desert from the beginning haha
i was pretty happy to find out that you did this game review and a lets play for it a long time ago as i remember seeing this being played at a friend of the familys house and i never found out what it was called and i liked the look of it so thanks very much for the upload =)
I find myself whistling the overworld themes now and again, namely the one in the majestic forest
This is the second best King's Quest game IMO.
Also "you surfer" is actually "usurper".
Ooh, Graham!
I also liked this game. Love your playthru of it too. And that purple hair? Girl you look fantastic!
When I was a child, the boogeyman in ooga booga terrified me :'(
I actually like all of the King's Quest games (yes, INCLUDING Mask of Eternity). But nostalgia could play in to that.
honestly I played that recently and I quite enjoyed myself! it did still feel like a King's Quest game
this was my first kings quest game, and I have so many fond memories of it
I've yet to play 7 myself (stopped at 6), though I've seen all it can offer a couple times already.
I hope that when King's Quest the Episodic Game Series is completed, you'll be reviewing that too.
me too :D and broken sword 2, fun careless times
Ah, the Broken Sword games. Love those too.
....people hate this game? That's news to me. I've loved this one since childhood. Lol.
I remember buying and playing this game and realizing the age of great Sierra adventure games was officially over... it ended in '93 with QFG: Shadows of Darkness and the first Gabriel Knight.
Same. This was also the first game I remember buying. Thanks for the great video.
I believe the implication is that Edgar turned you into a troll by mistake.
Second worst? Dang, my mom and I loved playing it.
This Rosella would be too busy squealing, before breaking into some about how she misses her puppy dog or something.
This may very well be the first video game I ever played. There was a museum in a city nearby, where you could use a small number of computers. I had no idea what I was doing and had no clue. But it was a revelation.
