@@Ashish-yi8lc they could atleast give this engine as an option. I know Swift is more appealing to commutors. But automobiles in india are always focussed towords commutors in all the segments. They can obviously take some premium for such engines for which true enthusiasts don't hesitate to pay.
Even if this gets launched in India...i don't see anyone spending 20L INR for a Suzuki hatchback instead of a new 700 or alcazar ,seltos and a lot of other cars around that price.not surprised that didn't launched it here

@@rajusarma1033 and thats the problem with it, the price, if you think of it as just as a Swift, but if you think of it as a sports car it makes more sense when you compare it to its competitors. But lets not fool ourselves, you dont buy a sports car to fill a need, its a luxury and dismissing it on price alone isnt fair because unlike buying a regular 1.2L Swift to get you and your small family from point A to B the Swift Sport should not have that as its primary remit, its for fun and can occasionally haul a small amount of stuff or people. Sports cars are financial sinks not investments(less so than any other car mind you) you buy it with eyes wide open.
Company can remove some features like ADAS , heated orvm, blind spot monitoring system and some other things which will reduce the cost of the car.... But the engine should be the same as the European version.... But this car is a sports car and built only for car enthusiasts like if someone is a enthusiasts then they can consider it....😗

I am a simple person. I need a simple Setup Grand Vitara with AWD and 1.4 L Turbo Petrol with 140 BHP and 240 NM Torque. Once we get this setup. It will change the Market 1) Suzuki Reliability 2) Very capable off road as well as on Highway 3) 15 Yrs validity. This combination will end literally all car's career.
