Hi George, i have 2013 640d and had my rocker cover and gasket replaced in March because of smoking and leaking. Since then i have been seeing oil on top of the cover in the injector ports. Had the gasket replaced again because the first garage messed up first time and lots of gaskets in injector ports were pinched and not installed properly. Its been fine for a while after this but recently noticed a little bit of oil on top again. What can cause this? I had all the injector seals replaced as well.

Hi George, just a quick question. N47c16a engine. Just had my rocker cover gasket changed and also glow plugs plus oil change. I can now hear some. Whining coming from the engine area (sounds like a turbo whine but don't believe it's that). Any ideas what it could be? Although can't hear it a start up, only when engine warmed up
my 2006 bmw e87 120d wont start ewery time i replace battery or disconnect it. car crank but not start. so a guy with diagnostic must set something to make car working again. as i remember its always something with CAS module problem. and maybe something else too. why is this happening ? and what is cheappest diagnostic tool i can buy ,to doo it myself next time ?
got 4 peugeot 3008 injectors refurbished at a cost of £650 plus vat as requested by garage to do so--mechanic now saying they wont code in 4 him and he left car with a very reputable car electrical repair place-but this place is pricey--------any idea why they wouldnt code for this guy? thanks
hi george, i got 4 other injectors for my car and one of them, the plastic is a bit broken and i have no clue what the 7 digit code was. is it possible to find out what the number was and if not, does this make this injector useless

Are the values not different as they have been re manufactured?

I was just about to say the same. The new values are on each test sheet not the pre-rebuilt ones from the factory

Engine will still run without coding injectors👍🏻
When you are using a torque wrench only 1 click is required, a double click isn't good practice and a bad habit to get into!
It’s just to check it is torqued
Calm down Karen it does no harm, I do it aswell for peace of mind checking the torque with the second click it takes an extra second
