    But base is lightly dopped, collector is moderately dopped

      That is wrong in your knowledge
      Even GATE asked question about same
      Doping of collector is always less than base

      @@KreatryxEE_EC_IN sir, thank you for replying. if doping of base is less than emitter and greater than collector, then most of the majority carrier ejected from emitter region will get recombine in the base region(even if base region is the smallest), and less no. Of carriers will reach at the collector, hence low current gain...

      If base will be lightly dopped the during collector base reverse biased, more deplition layer will be in base side than collector, then small increase in output reverse biase volatge VCB will cause punch through, and device may damage.
