For your process of figuring out the capacity ... could you keep a container of rice or dry beans and a measuring cup. That way your mug doesn't get wet and you can just have that set aside somewhere in your workspace. I keep a few things around like that ... I have a bag of plastic grocery bags under my desk that I use to stuff items like shoes, purses, puff sleeves during my photo process. Chopsticks too ... I use them to push down wrinkly tags or point out flaws in photos ... much better than a close up of my fingernail. If you sell a lot of mugs (which it sounds like you do) it might be worthwhile to keep something like that permanently in your workspace the same you would keep a measuring tape around
Ooo great idea. I leave mine blank (which Ebay doesn't like) because I can't be bothered going to the kitchen to do the water thing. I'm going to try the rice thing. Thanks :)
I can’t believe I was thinking about this earlier, started listening to mugs & thought about searching for a how to for mailing them. I didn’t even have to search since your video was on my home page when I went to YT🤗 Thank you
Thanks for the video. Can you please record videos in higher resolution? They are blurry at 360p, so it's difficult to read when you share your computer screen, Thanks.
I wrap mine in shopping catalogues and newspaper and then scrunch up more paper for padding and into a satchel (I've never used a box). I'm in Australia but our posties like to play 'hear catch this' as much as any country :) :) We don't have the same shipping options and boxing would put us into the next post cost. I haven't had a break yet so I'm sure single boxing with plenty of bubble wrap would be fine
I just came across your channel! I’m very appreciative of all of the items you “teach” us about!! I watch a lot of resellers and “go shopping with them “ on their channels as they search for treasures but I have learned more from you in the last hour than a year of watching others. I’m binge watching your channel now! 😊
just found you and started watching you great info im a reseller also but just starting out learned alot off your videos surprised to see the linus mug for so much at a shop so went back for it lol we will see charlie brown is my favorite Thank you again
You mentioned pirate ship for international sales for your mugs... how do you decide what postage service to go with? Also, do you always go with charging postage based on seller location? I have only seen 2 of your videos so far (am just getting into reselling) but will be watching more, you seem to share a lot of helpful info! Any video solely dedicated to how to ship different items and what postage to go with? This seems to be the most nerve wracking part of the reselling 😢 Thank you!
My husband is my shipper and we were just talking about doing some more shipping videos. For most items I use calculated shipping. Especially items over 1lb that will go Parcel Select or Priority since they will vary the most by distance. Items like clothing that will ship first class I usually do flat rates…3.99 up to 6.99 depending on the weight. If a heavier piece of clothing will fit in a Padded Flat Rate envelope, we use that. I know!! It’s a complicated subject but you’ll get the hang of it! The easiest thing to do is make everything calculated shipping and make sure your weights and box sizes are correct. First Class up to 15.9 ounces if you’re buying postage online. (Which you should, it’s cheaper) Priority or Parcel Select on things over a pound. 😊
Also for international- I choose First Class international package on eBay …then on Pirate Ship I use their Simple Export Rate (message them to ask for it). It’s pretty reasonable!
I'm having trouble finding that priority mail box size. I can't find them at the post office nor online. What am I missing there. And thank you. Your videos are great!
Yes I usually promote all our listings at 2% which is the minimum. I haven’t done EBay’s new Promoted Listings program though. There are a few items that are rare or one of a kind that I don’t bother promoting.
You mean 5 sheets? I just watched again to see where it was mentioned. My husband uses 5 squares or sheets of the large bubble wrap in one long continuous piece. If I misunderstood your question let me know! thx

I have thought of that before and almost mentioned it in the video, lol. I’ll try it out! Thx ☺️

For shoes, get pool noodles from the dollar tree and cut 6 inch sections to stuff inside the shoe or boot.
The ‘chopstick’ is a top tip 👍 thnx
I do the whole show, source, photograph, list, pack, ship. I am thoroughly jealous. You are blessed with an ambitious man.
He certainly does a bunch for me! Very grateful.

Thank you, very helpful!
Glad it was helpful!

thanks, ill check my settings
okay so it looks like the current software i'm using defaults to 1080p. I'm sure the older videos were lower. Thanks for having me check.
You're blowing my mind! I always double box my mugs and it scares me to even think of going single box. Especially for something high value!
Honestly this always works!! Lol. It’s the big bubble wrap and the mug doesn’t move around at all.

And one more thought, lol. Here’s a great shipping video by @ChaChingKing ruclips.net/video/_F5u45UYFJY/видео.html He has great videos for beginners!
I'm having trouble finding that priority mail box size. I can't find them at the post office nor online. What am I missing there. And thank you. Your videos are great!
I'm sorry. Just found them. I had no idea there were so many box options. Thanks again!
oh good! I just grabbed the link for you and saw your follow up comment. Thanks!
Is there any cases where you buy a chipped mug
It would have to be high dollar where people just want to display and collect
Question please: Promote at 2%? Do you use this with all your listings?

@@pishposhreselling Thank you much for replying.
What do u mean 5 layers

@@pishposhreselling thank you for clearing that up
A 6x4x4 box fits perfectly in a padded envelope
