I can attest to a few things like Wright's polish, which is GREAT for silver jewelry and older silver items where you want to keep the old, soft glow and Mother's is relly good for when you need to take out the 'big guns' 🙂Simichrome is well worth the price, as you use VERY little. I've been getting jewelry boxes from The Display Guys for a long time, and they're very good quality. Never an issue with them. When my current scale kicks the bucket, I'm going to pick up the one you have here. I'd love not having to contort myself to read the weight for a large box Lol If you can find something called DiDi7, pick it up. It's awesome for cleaning and brightening white fabrics, and is gentle enough for vintage & antique pieces as long as they're all white. I haven't seen it in a long time, and hope it's still being made.

Great video! I also find that flatware, dishes, and glasses sell very well after the holidays. I think folks take inventory of what got lost or broken and like to purchase before packing away for next year.

Growing up in the 60s as a child, everyone had hudson bay blankets. I know my younger sister went through a phase where she was thrifting ceramic pie plates and hudson bay blankets so i need to start searching for hudson bay blankets. Im loving doing flatware. I just made another sale this morning.

Great Video! Always wondered what the points were for on the Hudson Bay blankets.! I'm currently selling a Beacon Southwestern blanket with some little moth holes, got an offer for $70 that I'm pondering. You hit all the brands I know of and then toped it off with new ones like Croscil, and surprising 80s-90s blankets. ♥

Hi Shannon & Mr. Pish Posh! Want to wish you a Merry Christmas and thank you so much fo your help this year. A few weeks back I messaged you on a video comment line and you were super quick to respond to my dilemma. It involved a buyer claiming a vintage rattan folding leg bed/tv tray she had just received "missing a screw" in one of it's legs, but it immediately seemed a bit fishy. Her photos were almost useless they were so blurry and she claimed "I'm not good at this". Your advice paid off and once I suggested a replacement screw I could send out or that the buyer could return the item per my policy, but that I would first and foremost need much better photos & that eBay would track all aspects of the process (I had spoken to a live agent as well), she immediately went dark and never responded. You had suggested the sending a screw idea and were VERY supportive in my dilemma as it was a bit upsetting after knowing I'd spent excess time packing and shipping this awkwardly sized item that was a nice sale. I thank you and your husband and family for all you do & continue to appreciate you! Hope you'll still keep going strong with your great videos. One of the very first items I sold was a flannel Laura Ashley sheet that was faded-I don’t remember just how much but it was a lot more than I expected!

Welsh I believe are known for sheep and their quality wool. Our family raised sheep for generations in Idaho and that’s some of the info I recall, also they are no doubt gifted craftsman’s !! Think I also better research

I sold a matelasse bedspread on Etsy in one day for 69.00 I believe. And I had gotten it with a pile of other blankets and had not even looked at it to lay for months. I finally washed it, laid it on my bed for pics, listed it, and sold the next day. 😊

Cleaning, photos etc. I recently found a Pendleton Beaver State throw in a SW pattern at a church rummage sale for $5 in perfect condition. I’m embarrassed to say I probably have at least one of most brands you mentioned including a vintage Winnie the Pooh comforter 🤦‍♀️

Afghan rescue!

Croscill still manufactures comforters (I have one currently on my bed) and I bought another one on eBay a few years ago (same style) to have when mine wears out. I personally really like them. They are very well made.

I sold a Pendleton throw pillow recently and it had damage. I had paid $15, sold for $50. Disclosed the damage (which I hadn't seen before buying it).

Bates coverlets and bedspreads can also be worth taking a careful look.

Pendleton also has national park blankets that were used in their lodges in the 40s. I’ve sold those too. ❤cats😀 great video! You can tell a good tapestry by the feel. Nice and thick is a start

I’m not familiar with most of these brands. I just don’t see very many wool blankets down here in the south. I do see a lot of homemade afghans.

I have been trying to list daily and I only missed 1 day in November and it was while family was here. Consistency is paying off !
